  Remarkable

  Georgia is so amazing! She does exactly what I want, and always give me tips on how to keep my hair healthy. While doing my hair she always keeps a conversation and truly makes me feel included. I never knew Georgia before getting my hair done, but I am so blessed to have met her, she’s not only great at hair, but she’s become a great friend!

  Hair saviors

  This is such a good little studio owned by 2 very talent people! They really listen and take the time to give you EXACTLY what you want. They do everything from just a cut and color to bridal parties.I never leave the salon unsatisfied. If you’re looking for a new hair stylist go to Melt Studio and you won’t regret it!

  Nothing but good things.

  I’ve been getting my hair done by Georgia for years and I’m never disappointed. Both cuts and colors are always exactly what I’m looking for. She’s also very patient with me when I get super antsy waiting for color to set! Last summer she did my makeup for a wedding I attended and I definitely felt more beautiful than I have at any other event I’ve been to.
  The studio space is also adorably decorated and very clean.
  I highly recommend Melt Studio!

  Absolutely amazing

  Every time I step into Melt Studio there is a great vibe and I’m always excited to get my hair done. I have been going to Georgia since she was in hair school and have followed her to many salons because she provides great service. I have walked in many times and not known what I want, and she’s always able to give me something I love. She is extremely nice and knows what she’s doing. I would definitely recommend Melt for anyone looking for amazing hair! I know I always leave feeling beautiful!

  The Best of Reno

  Georgia has given me the best experience I could have ever imagined. When I first came to Georgia, my hair had been completely destroyed by my previous hairstylist. Georgia not only made my hair healthier, she made me a happier person! She continuously teaches me about how to help my hair and is such a kind soul. She is patient, sweet, and has a great eye for what will work on someone. I trust her like no other with my hair (I literally will let her do absolutely anything to my hair because I know she will make me looking amazing). She is passionate about her job and cares for each client. I truly believe she is the best in Reno!

  I absolutely love Melt Studio! Georgia and Janell are simply the best at what they do. Not only do they do an incredible job with hair and lashes, but they truly care about their clients and provide high quality service. The environment is very cozy and personable. It’s not like any other salon where you can barely hear yourself think because there are so many other conversations and blow dryers going at the same time.

  Georgia and Jenell are amazing! They’re easy to get along with and do magical work!! I feel like a Queen after I see them. I get constant compliments even weeks after I have my hair done. I recommend them 100 times over!

  Georgia is the epitome of excellence

  Georgia has always been responsive and always knows how to treat my hair to ensure it is healthy and beautiful. She has always helped me make appropriate decisions regarding my hair and she has very reasonable pricing. 10/10 always. I wouldn't trust anyone else on my hair.

I can come in with lime green hair and leave with smokey gray. She is a miracle worker when it comes to hair. Her makeup skills are also incredible. There's no other choice to be made.   I love melt studio! Jenell and Georgia are amazing. I have been coming to Jenell for over 2 years for all my hair and makeup needs. The location is great ! And to top it off they use Kevin Murphy. My hair has never felt this great!

  Better Than I Could Have Ever Imagined

  Melt Studio provided me with an experience like no other. I felt pampered, spoiled and beautiful all at the same time. Melt Studio does an amazing job at taking what I want with my hair and doing it ten times better than I could have ever imagined!

  Jenell and Georgia were able to take a stressful day and turn it into something so easy. The biggest concern is looking your very best on your special day and they made sure to work with me and make sure everything was perfect every step of the way. They are so calm and collected and very cool to work with under pressure. They were open to what it was I wanted and took every step to make it happen.
  I would 100% recommend them to anyone wanting the best service you could possibly get from a bridal team.

  I met Jenell several years ago when my hair color was a mess. She did a color correction on my hair and I have been going to her ever since. I have followed her from Reno to Dayton and back to Reno. She never disappoints me! I have a very stressful job and self-care is key. I am glad Jenell is part of my-self care and I always look forward to my appointment with her. JenelI has also done my make-up for several formal events. My make-up has always looked good! Jenell never over does it. I also want to make a shout out to Jenell's partner in crime, Georgia. These girls are fun and welcoming.

  Voted Reno’s best, just saying.

  So moving from the Bay Area to Reno I desperately needed a new hair dresser. I was blonde at the time but I am naturally a brunette and my roots were so grown out. I was desperately looking around but no one caught my eye until I came across this gem! It was Janell’s Instagram @peanutbutterandnelly which also has the studios page @meltstudio_reno. I didn’t hesitate to book an appointment with her and I’ve had my fair share of horror stories but you know quality when you see it so since the first booking(over a year ago) I’ve been rosé rooted long hair, blonde long hair, brunette with red peek a boos short bangs long hair to now a caramel melt to blonde LOB (long bob) with a treatment and touch ups in between. The studio is suuuuper cute, always nicely decorated, clean, organized, welcoming environment, great for relaxing and some girl time. I have and will continue to recommend everyone to Melt! Janell and Georgia make a great team! Oh also you don’t lose half a face of make up when it’s time to go to the washing station, which ladies we all know that sucks right!
