  Hire memories productions!

  We came across John and Memories Productions at a wedding fair and were happy to hire one company that could do the music for the ceremony, music for the cocktail hour, music for dancing, and organize and run our photobooth. We got so much more! John used his experience and expertise to prepare for potential issues before they could arise and, on the weekend of our celebration, helped with our rehearsal, the set up, announcements, and keeping us all sane. He kept modestly saying "when people are happy, they dance - and that makes my job easier" when I tried to thank him for all he was doing. I cannot say enough good things about John and Memories Productions. Just hire them!

  An amazing choice for a fun filled, personalized, and perfect night

  Choosing Memories Productions was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding! John made everything so easy & kept in contact with me the entire time so that I got exactly what I wanted, down to the last detail. The dance floor was going all night long. The photo booth from this company was also amazing, and cheap!

  Mike was a great DJ! He kept our party going and had great communication with us throughout the whole process. We received many compliments about how much fun our reception was.

  We had Mike provide DJ services for our ceremony and reception and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. Mike did a great job picking music to play at our reception and I had guests telling me all night how much they loved the music and that it was the best music selection they had ever seen at a reception!

  We hired John to do our ceremony and reception and couldn't of asked for a better DJ. He was amazing, kept the flow of events going with great music. He gave us pointers and ideas that really helped our day go above and beyond what we expected. His up lighting was amazing, we were worried about having our reception in an all white tent, but he did a fantastic job up lighting you didn't even notice that the floor was a red concrete. Our wedding colors were coral and teal and he matched them perfectly, he went out of his way to accommodate us and we greatly appreciated all his hard work. He was early to everything, and was just happy to help us make our day special. He is great at what he does, and we recommend him to others.

  I hired Mike to do my wedding reception at the Peoria Zoo in June, 2014, after meeting him at a bridal show. The zoo lodge is a unique venue, and I really wanted someone who had been there before and knew how to get things set up, which Mike had.
  
  Everything worked out great. I met with him a month or so before the wedding to go over things. We didn't have a lot of song requests--I did email him a few mp3s in advance for the special dances that we had edited, which wasn't a problem. He was punctual, kept the party going, and the sound quality, for both the music and announcements, was great. I'd use him again for sure, especially for an event at the zoo.

  They were great to work with! I loved that we didn't have a max time amount. They are very affordable and there lighting was way cheaper than anywhere else! My husband had a family member that did lighting, but even with her discount, these guys were still cheaper and it looked great :)

  We had Mike as our DJ and he was great! We had a complicated mix of songs and a YouTube video for our first dance, but he put it all together perfectly!! I emailed him with questions a lot and he was always quick to respond. The DJ services through Memories Productions was also very reasonable (about $400 cheaper) than the other DJs I was looked into.

  I hired John for my wedding and reception at the World's Fair Pavilion in Forest Park back in September. What a crazy day that was.. About 10 minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to start we had the storm of the year blow through the place- rain, wind, tables and platters of food blowing over, centerpieces shattering, my guests were screaming and running for cover.. basically a brides worst nightmare. John did such a great job at helping to pull this disaster back together. He was calm and professional, he even walked around helping to pick up the mess and wiping down all the chairs that had gotten wet from the storm. And also saved my unity sand set from crashing to the ground! The storm never stopped, but the wind eased up just enough to start the ceremony and have the reception. In the end my guests had a blast! He played all the music I had asked for and kept the night super fun! I also had him do up-lighting for me throughout the place and it looked fantastic. His rates were so much more reasonable than anyone other DJ I'd found, and throughout the whole process of planning a wedding, and all the different vendors, he was by far the most pleasant to work with. He was the ONLY person I didn't feel pressured by, or taken advantage of financially. He seems to really love his job, was eager to help any way he could, and more than willing to meet or talk to go over the details any time I needed to. I would recommend Memories Productions a million times over to anyone looking for a DJ! Very well done!

Also, the rest of the staff, John especially, is great, we sent tons of e-mails back and forth and the finished event was everything we wanted and more! If your getting married, this must be your DJ team!

  We hired Mike to DJ at our July 2012 wedding, and we couldn't have been more pleased. He had such a nice energy about him and was so easy to work with during the planning stages. I must admit that I spent the majority of the wedding reception on the dance floor, and that's a testament to how good a job Mike was doing with the music selection. When he tells you that he can read the crowd and sense what will make them get up, he's totally telling the truth. Everybody was dancing and it was so much fun!! I recommend Mike 100% for your event and would hire him again in an instant.

  We found this vendor through a small ad they had posted and then again at a Bridal Show in Peoria, IL. I recommend going to the Bridal Show to get the extra discount, if they are there that year of course. The price for uplighting and DJ service was very reasonable (after our Friday night and Bridal Show discounts). In the end, we had Mike as our DJ, but we spoke to both Mike and John in the beginning. Between the two of them, they were very responsive and even give out their cell phone numbers for extra questions/concerns that you may have. Their online system is fairly easy/effective in creating a playlist and order of events.
  
  We met with Mike twice, several weeks before our wedding. Once to give him the final list and order, and again at the actual venue to discuss a plan for uplighting. In other words, we felt prepared and confident ahead of time, which was comforting!
  
  During the actual event, he did a great job organizing the reception and keeping things moving - but not rushing. For our reception, we didn't want a super talkative, in-your-face DJ. We just wanted someone to keep the events organized/moving and play good music. Mike did just that! There were no mishaps, and we got everything that we had asked for. People were dancing throughout the night, so it was an overall success.

  The DJ was pretty good. I originally had a DJ hired, but he had to work that day so about 2 months in advance, he let me know that his business partner would be covering our wedding.   It is a tad difficult for me to write a review for this vendor. We enjoyed working with the memories production team. However, during our reception the sound continued to cut out until later in the night. They did make it up to us by not charging us the remaining balance of the services, which is good. But there is nothing that can take back the fact that music cut out during our first dance. Nonetheless, I would still recommend them -- just to proceed with caution!

  It is a tad difficult for me to write a review for this vendor. We enjoyed working with the memories production team. However, during our reception the sound continued to cut out until later in the night. They did make it up to us by not charging us the remaining balance of the services, which is good. But there is nothing that can take back the fact that music cut out during our first dance. Nonetheless, I would still recommend them -- just to proceed with caution!
