Best Wedding Photographer!
Working with Meredith was one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. Not only is her photography beautiful, but her her vibes were a perfect match for us and our wedding party. We’ve gotten so many compliments about how efficient, professional, and fun she was to work with from our wedding party and family. My mom’s friend wants her daughter (who lives in another state) to get married in Chicago so she can have Meredith as her photographer :)
I will definitely be recommending Meredith to anyone who needs a wedding photographer. She is the best! -

Meredith made our day amazing!
Meredith and Courtney really helped make our wedding day truly special. Their depth of experience really helped us structure our wedding day and they did an incredible job keeping things moving while also making everyone feel comfortable, special, and having fun. They went above and beyond making us feel comfortable and really drawing out our personalities, goofiness, and sincerity. They helped us bring to reality some of our wilder photo ideas, and were masterful at getting us to pose in ways that made for beautiful photos. Our photos truly capture the fun, the love, and the excitement on our wedding day, and we can’t wait to see our videos. I’ve never seen so many photos of my friends and family that both look beautiful and capture their essences! Meredith managed to get us our first set of photos before we had even gotten home from our venue.I highly recommend working with them to any couples getting married in Chicago. -

Passionate Wedding Photography and Videography
We used Meredith and Courtney from Meredith Donnelly Photography for our wedding photographer and videographer. Meredith and Courtney did such a wonderful job capturing our day with authenticity and creativity. The passion they have for their work shines through their photos and videos. We thought we were hiring a photographer when we signed a contract with Meredith. She is that; her photos are absolutely gorgeous. However, she is SO MUCH MORE. She goes above and beyond for her clients/friends. She helped keep our schedule on track. She kept us focused on enjoying our loved ones. She caught a few ticking time bombs before they became problems at our reception. Meredith is the MVP of the day that you didn't know you needed. And all the while she is so fun and nice that you'll be thankful she's sharing your Milestone moments with you. If there's anything that's worth the money at your wedding, it is Meredith. -

Timeless & Beautiful
There is not enough words to describe Meredith and her work! She is not only just a photographer she treats you like you've been friends for years! She took away all the stress of trying to make sure we got every picture we wanted on our big day. The way she captures a moment is like each picture is really telling our story. The Best!!!
Working with Meredith was one of the best decisions we made while planning our destination wedding. Meredith's experience, patience, and attention to detail were key in keeping our day running smoothly. Having a spanish speaking photographer was also a huge plus when it came time to wrangle our bilingual family for group photos! Our families and bridal party loved working with Meredith and we could not be more impressed with the photos that she captured on our big day. -

Gave us Joyful Memories
Meredith was super easy to work with, and was great at directing everyone the day of the wedding. I loved all the action shots that she took. They really help us remember the joy of the day. All the photos look amazing in our wedding album and hanging on our walls, especially the artsy shots taken with just the two of us. -

Engagement to Wedding
Meredith was such a great part of our wedding day! Months in advance she helped us plan the day in terms of when pictures and things should take place, she organized our wild families on the big day, but most importantly she kept reminding us to focus on the reason and meaning of the day. She protected our alone time after that ceremony and celebrated right along side us. -

Couldn't ask for better
Meredith was a dream to work with. She felt like a friend we'd known for years and that reflects in the photos—we're so at east and natural and she captured so many genuine lovely moments throughout our wedding. Our guests raved about her and so have we ever since that day. It's both a hilarious and scary thought that we initially weren't set on having a photographer at all. Of course, now our day is memorialized forever through her beautiful photos and we absolutely cherish them. And to echo other couples, we haven't been married before so we didn't know we'd need time together immediately after the ceremony, but Meredith does. It was so nice to have a breather, reflect on the huge moment that just happened, and have some silly fun between the 3 of us before diving back in. -

Incredible professionalism coupled with calm, assertive ability to lead & capture beautiful photographs
I have to be honest - I wasn't feeling super hyped on my wedding. Leading up to the event I really only felt the pressure of putting everything together, the stress of the ever-growing list of tasks... not to mention family dynamics that made it somewhat unapproachable for me. I also had an 10-month-old at the time. So, safe to say, not your average level of wedding bliss.
That was until I met Meredith. It was by absolute luck that I found her and as soon as we started chatting about my list of to-do's she was already providing me with solutions and ideas for how to tackle this day and make the most of it. I already felt some relief of anxiety. And then came the day of...
My partner and I picked a location that could have been a horrifying disaster if not for the calm, collected team we surrounded ourselves with - the central force of this being Meredith. She took lead on organizing our party and navigating the public venue. Meredith made it easy, efficient, and fun. Photos aren't my thing. She made it work. Because that's what she does - she makes it work and she does it in your style and on your energy level. That's what I needed in a photographer and that is exactly what provided.
The end result are photos that are the essence of our relationship. Some of our fondest memories from the evening were the quiet moments we slipped away with Meredith and were allowed to breathe... take in our new lives... and pose for some absolutely breath-taking photos.
Meredith is authentic, professional, and an artist. We are forever grateful that she documented our day, and look forward to working with her in the future. -

This is way overdue, but Meredith photographed our wedding in October and I couldn't have been more happy with the outcome. The photos are beautiful and my husband and I have received endless compliments from our guests about not just how great the photos of us came out, but of everyone who attended. She captures the true essence of the day, which is everything I wanted from our wedding pictures. They feel natural and are simply put, stunning. Jessica Sent on 09/25/2018Wow! What can I say about Meredith? She is AMAZING! From our first experience meeting her over Skype, to all our interactions inbetween, she was SO enjoyable to work with! She is knowledgeable, organized, flexible and SO positive! She was able to quickly send us a “day of timeline” after hearing about our ideas for our wedding. She responded promptly to all questions we had. The day of the wedding she showed up on time with a smile on her face! She made my husband and I feel comfortable right away and didn’t make us do any akward poses we weren’t comfortable with! She does an excellent job capturing moments rather than posed shots. We were over the moon with how our pictures turned out! Her black and white photos are our favorites! I would definitely recommend using Meredith for your wedding!

Melanie Sent on 11/20/2017Meredith is the best combination of a professional and a supportive friend in her photography work. She is so talented at capturing the true essence of us and our guests in her candid shots and making us all look our best in posed/formal shots. She's organized and with so much experience, she thought of the types of shots that we hadn't. The entire collection of our wedding photos are the perfect balance of unique artistic shots and clear photos of people - like what we have used for Christmas cards or our Thank You cards. On top of everything, she is such a fun and full of life woman - which was such a helpful energy to balance our nerves and excitement of the day! Thank you Meredith!!
