  Meredith was a pleasure to work with - we came to her the first time for our 'interview' loaded with questions and she was able to answer every single one of them and give us direction and insight along the way. We were very particular about the style of music we wanted and had a pre-set list and she was able to go through that and give us what we wanted within our time frame for the reception. She also went out of her way to give great suggestions and also helped us get equipment for our rehearsal dinner, which came right in the nick of time!
  
  She is also beyond thoughtful and really takes care of her brides and is able to empathize since she was in our shoes once and knows how important it is to have a method to the madness on that special day. She was snapping pictures along with our guests and was actually the first person to send us some photos, we got them even before we left for our honeymoon! Check her out, I think you will find her professionalism, responsiveness, value, flexibility and quality is exactly what you are looking for in a DJ.

Not only was our reception great but with you helping us choose our ceremony music, it turned our beautifully.

  Meredith was very pleasant and easy to work with. Her prices are reasonable. We were really happy with her doing our ceremony music and reception music. She did miss a few of our "must play" songs and some of her song choices weren't our favorite - for instance, we gave a list of suggested slow songs and she played other songs we weren't familiar with. However, overall she kept the dance party going and we had a blast.

  We hired Meredith Marx because we felt upon our initial meeting that she was a great fit to our eclectic music taste and the fact that we unanimously agreed that we didn't want the cliche music and songs played during cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. We sent her Cds of music that we specifically wanted to hear at different times of the evening a few weeks prior to our wedding. She called me (the bride) at 10am on the day of our wedding to tell me she wouldn't be playing any of the music we requested because at the end of the day, her reputation is on the line, never mind the fact that we hired her to play music for OUR wedding. She didn't bring a microphone stand or a lapel microphone so our guests didn't even hear the ceremony. She was RUDE to many of our guests who made requests for certain songs. She played songs that we specifically asked her not to play (Kenny G during dinner was a big no-no and it was the first song she played! In addition to other songs we asked her not to play throughout the dancing portion of the evening). She was highly unprofessional and I would never recommend her to anyone.
