  Monique at Metal Doily Press was so wonderful to work with on our Save the Dates, that we are using her for our Wedding invitations as well. We needed someone to take an illustration we wanted to use, add graphics, and turn it into a save the date. She created hand drawn lettering, ordered our envelopes, printed the save the dates, and created return address stamp using the same hand drawn lettering on the save the date itself. We were given options throughout the whole process, as she was designing everything. We really felt like our input was respected, and her design skills brought our ideas to life more than we could have imagined. We're very excited to be working with Metal Doily Press for our invitations. We cannot recommend her enough!

  I just LOVED my experience working on with Metal Doily Press and, more importantly, how my letterpress wedding invitations came out! Metal Doily Press was incredibly responsive, delivered quality letterpress invitations and worked with my budget!
  
  I never thought about where I would want my wedding to be, how my bouquet would look or even what kind of dress I'd like to wear when I got married. But, one thing I did know is that if I ever got married, I would want to have letterpress wedding invitations. It's something about the way the text feels on thick, luxurious paper -- so elegant! I found quite a few letterpress companies online but, as most of you brides out there doing research on letterpress invitations know, they are insanely expensive and unfortunately, my budget was small. I came to a point where I resigned myself to settling on digital wedding invitations and convinced myself that I was fine with it...until I did one more search - a last ditch effort - which lead me to Metal Doily Press! Thank goodness!
  
  Metal Doily Press gave me a very reasonable quote and worked with my budget, timeline, and vision. Monique from Metal Doily Press was incredibly sweet, responsive and so easy to work with. She made me feel like my wedding invitations were her top priority. When the invitations were ready, she even drove to my side of town to hand deliver them to me to eliminate the risk of the package getting lost in the mail! I felt tears well up in my eyes when I saw the invitations for the first time. Metal Doily Press really made my dream of having elegant letterpress wedding invitations come true. I would highly recommend Metal Doily Press to anyone!

  Metal Doily Press designed the whole paper suite for my wedding - save-the-dates, invitations, RSVP cards, the works. MDP worked patiently with my husband and I to determine what fonts and colors we liked, and created gorgeous designs based on very vague directions from us. (We are definitely not graphic designers!) We got married at the LA River Center and Gardens and wanted to somehow reflect the fountain in our invites; Monique took a photo of the fountain, turned it into a gorgeous outline, and letterpressed it on all of our invitations. It was beyond what we could have imagined, and it really set the tone for our event. Everything was very high quality, and she was happy to send us mock-ups and respond to our questions and suggestions. Bottom line: Metal Doily Press has an amazing aesthetic, a great eye for design, and is such a pleasure to work with! My husband and I were over the moon with everything she created for us, and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for modern letterpress invitations.

  Monique is gifted and talented in her craft. She approaches her projects with the clients wishes as her primary focus and delivers a beautiful and personal finished product. We were super impressed with our wedding invites, table top cards, and seating place cards. :)
