Both Vanessa and Elyse were wonderful! They were attentive to our needs before our day. Vanessa was pleasant and thorough in providing my husband and I will affordable options that fit into our budget and idea for our wedding. There was a very smooth transition from Vanessa to Elyse working with my husband and I. My husband and I highly recommend the Metropolitan Plant and Flower exchange! We had such a phenomenal experience with this florist and one of their floral artists, Amparo Nunez. She was so warm and helpful with this process. It can be stressful choosing the perfect bouquets for yourself and your bridal party, but Ms. Nunez made it easy! She has a wonderful eye for arrangements and she even had a sample for me to see once we gave her an idea of what we wanted.
We were having the bouquets delivered a bit outside of their range, but they made an exception for us which was greatly appreciated. It made our day run that much more smoothly.

We made our own bouquets(7), boutonnieres(6) and corsages(3) the day before the wedding with the flowers purchases here. The staff were so helpful in selecting the flowers that would make our arrangements look amazing. Not only was the staff professional and thorough they allowed for us to bring our completed arrangements to them so they could be held over night in their storage fridge to ensure their freshness. I highly recommend using this company to purchase your own flowers for your wedding/occasion. At first it may seem like a big undertaking but it was one of the easiest things to do and it's saved us THOUSANDS of $$$$!!We made our own bouquets(7), boutonnieres(6) and corsages(3) the day before the wedding with the flowers purchases here. Vanessa worked absolute wonders to get us exactly what we wanted. We were one of the few couples who wanted to embrace the Christmas experience within our wedding and were hoping to get things such as holly, poinsettias and little Christmas trees incorporated into our wedding photos/reception. Vanessa was able to do all of this for us at a very reasonable cost. She was quick to respond to us and make any changes that we requested. I highly recommend Metropolitan for your wedding floral needs!Vanessa worked absolute wonders to get us exactly what we wanted. I loved working with Yumilla of Metropolitan Plant & Flower Exchange. She was so helpful and listened to exactly what I wanted and then executed my vision perfectly. Her prices were extremely reasonable and she worked with me when I needed to cancel my church flowers or eliminate a corsage. She met with me the day before the wedding to finalize and ease my fears about not being able to set up the reception room until an hour before the wedding.I loved working with Yumilla of Metropolitan Plant & Flower Exchange. Metro Plant and Flower of Saddle Brook was amazing to work with. My consultant was Yumi and she was AMAZING!!! I thought I knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding flowers, but I was wrong. Yumi took the time to sit down and discuss every detail with me. She even made full arrangements of my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and centerpieces before I left any deposit!! When I walked in to see the arrangements I was unhappy with the way it looked, so Yumi gave me some advice and changed it up on the spot. My flowers on the day of my wedding were spectaular. I was not thrilled with the boutonnières for my groomsmen, however, Yumi was unable to show me those ahead of time so they were pretty much a surprise on the day of. And my only problem in the Flower Department was that somehow my ring bear did not have his boutonniere even though I paid for it. I didn't notice until it was WAY to late, so unfortunately he did not have one for ANY of my pictures. My Bridal Attendant took a rose from my Maid of Honor's bouquet to make him own for the reception entrances.

My flowers looked beautiful. Yumi was great to work with. It took me a few go arounds to get the perfect centerpieces. I did not like the first two arrangements that were made, but third times the charm. Even when I didn't like the arrangements she initially made, she made new ones with no complaints.
I do think its slightly on the expensive side. For my brides bouquet, I had mango callas. When I tried to dry them, they all wilted and broke off!
Yumi does try to work with you on price, but its still overpriced. $12 for a boutonnière?
