  Michelle is Amazing!

  Michelle and her team took our short timeline and created an amazing wedding for my wife and I. she made the planning process fun, and helped relieve our stress. She dealt with vendors, negotiated with vendors, and created a timeline everyone was able to follow perfectly. We highly recommend her. Thank you Michelle!

  Simply the BEST Wedding Planner!!!

  My experience with Michelle Sheppard Events was nothing short of incredible! From our initial consultation, I knew that Michelle was the perfect planner for me. I quickly took notice of her expertise, professionalism, and dedication within a few minutes of speaking with her. Michelle's calm demeanor and vast industry knowledge put me at ease, and her prompt email responses made me feel like I was her only client. On the wedding day, Michelle and her team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure everything ran smoothly, keeping me calm and attending to every detail. She made sure my husband and I always had a drink in hand and also made sure to set aside a tray of appetizers during our photo session.

  Key part of our wedding!

  Michelle & her team were a vital part of our wedding day & wedding planning process! She gave me all of the tools and resources pre-wedding to make wedding planning a smooth process. She was with me during all of the critical wedding planning steps and helped make planning so much easier. Michelle and her team were an essential part of our wedding day as well! She made sure that everything ran smoothly; my husband and I were so grateful they were there so that we were able to let loose and have fun on our wedding day without having to worry about any behind the scenes issues! Cannot recommend Michelle and her team enough, she is such a joy to work with and her happy personality made us so grateful to have her during this special time. Thank you Michelle!!

  Best. Planner. Ever.

  Yes, you should ABSOLUTELY work with Michelle to deliver the wedding of your dreams!
  
  My (now) husband and I are both VERY organized and even have a light background in event planning and programming from past experiences.
  Even with these things going for us, we could not have pulled off the perfect wedding without Michelle and her team. 
  
  Here are some of the ways Michelle truly shines:
  
  1) Michelle has a wealth of knowledge around the wedding industry and wedding planning
  
  We truly appreciated Michelle's ability to work with the ideas we had for our day and quickly pivot us in the right direction if she thought there was a clear better choice.
  
  For example, Michelle was assertive about her recommendation for a white dance floor and while that would end up costing us slightly more, she knew this would make a world of difference and was worth making a case for. We're glad we trusted her as this recommendation really completed the elegant look of our ballroom.

  Michelle Sheppard Events

  Michelle was absolutely incredible. She clearly has a lot of experience and executes her role flawlessly. She was so organized and played a huge part in making our big day run smoothly. She went out her her way to make sure the day was what WE wanted. She was a huge help in the final weeks coordinating with our vendors, making sure the final touches were taken care of and that everyone one was on the same page. She is so sweet, genuine, and on top of everything. Both her and her team were very professional and beyond helpful. They eliminated a huge amount of stress for us on the day because we knew she had everything handled. We highly recommend her and her team.

  Absolutely amazing

  When my fiance (now wife) mentioned we should get a wedding planner, I was first against it. I told her we were spending enough on the wedding. We did a lot of research and finally chose Michelle. She was worth every single penny! She is so efficient, detail - oriented, and genuine! I would rec her to anyone!

  Best Wedding Planner to DJ beside

  Michelle and her team are GOLD! I had the pleasure to DJ Valerie & Ryan Schick Wedding beside them at South Park Center in Downtown LA. Michelle and her team managed so much between the ceremony location at USC Village and the reception in DTLA. It was nothing simple to say the least. There was so much fun packed into ceremony and reception. The team was well prepared to receive us. By the way, Michelle's timeline was top notch. It was clear what I was looking at by the divider lines in her timeline. What that means is that many hours went into putting it together guaranteeing a close to perfect day. I say that because curve balls do come at us and they were prepared with experience to knock it out of the pack. I felt so comfortable with Michelle and her team because I knew I was with professionals. It take a pro to know a pro. Michelle and her team were perfect from first introduction email to goodnight high five. Epic team!

  Perfection

  We had our wedding at the Ebell of Los Angeles and I found Michelle through Ebell’s instagram account. Michelle and her team literally made our wedding dreams come true. From start to finish, I could not have asked for a more dedicated event planner to make everything happen. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. Her patience and attention to details are truly extraordinary. We cannot thank Michelle and her team enough for making our wedding the most memorable day of our lives.

  Highly Recommend!

  We were referred to Michelle by the venue we choose in Malibu. From the very first phone call it was clear she was kind, professional, and clearly knew her stuff. We only had a couple of months for all of our planning and Michelle was the one that really made it happen. She immediately gave us a set of tools, timelines, and vendor recommendations that made us feel at ease and in control. She was also very patient with us during all the decision making and gave us useful tips on picking out our rentals to help us realize our overall vision. As it came closer to the date, she handled all the little tweaks and changes with grace and relieved a lot of our stress! On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant took care of all the vendors including set up and break down - I highly recommend!

  Michelle: super human wedding saver

  One week before the wedding we decided to change location, time, floor plans, almost everything due to covid. I didn't know you only needed a week to plan a wedding, but with Michelle it's possible.
  
  Michelle worked her magic and coordination with our venue and other vendors to make the last minute changes we needed to pull the wedding off. We are so grateful.
  
  We had heard stories from our friends not having time to eat at their own weddings or feeling too rushed to take it all in. So, we were amazingly surprised that Michelle planned our timeline so well that we had time to enjoy our meals. We had time to visit all the tables. We had time to hang out with our guests and soak in the beautiful day.
  
  Michelle is the best.

  Michelle is simply the BEST!

  A million thanks is not enough to express how grateful I am for Michelle. I don't know where to start....from day one when I chose to have Michelle as my planner, I knew I was making the best decision. From the start, her and I clicked back in 2019. During the pandemic when we had to push our wedding date, not once, or twice, but three times, Michelle was not only there as emotional support (as we all know it was a hard time and still is), but she was so organized, patient and professional. Making sure all my vendors knew about the date change and all. She had to go through this 3x and I'm forever grateful that she was so organized and buttoned up and professional. Michelle, was like my angel to me through and through, but especially the last week. She even went as far as helping other vendors out when she did not have to nor was it her job, but Michelle is simply different. To her, it was to make sure that I was not stressed out with things I didn't need to stress out with. Knowing this, I knew I had nothing to worry about.
  During my wedding, she made sure everything was done right, she followed the timeline perfectly and on top of it all, she made sure my husband and I were happy. If I were to redo it again, I would choose Michelle over and over again. Oh, and she's like family to me now. That's how much not only I lover her, but my husband and my family!
  P.S. I had a very big Armenian wedding and for her to be able to deal with all that she did, it's pretty amazing because she is AMAZING!

  I don't even know where to begin with Michelle. This woman was an absolute DREAM to work with. In the most stressful moments, Michelle just exudes calmness and always found a way to settle my nerves. On top of having the personality of an angel, she is so on top of literally EVERYTHING. There are so many little details that are put into a wedding and Michelle just always seems to be 10 steps ahead. She also planned my entire bridal shower and it was the best decision I could have made. If you're looking for a planner, seriously don't even think twice about booking Michelle. You absolutely will not regret it, and this is coming from a bride who had to deal with 3 different wedding dates due to Covid.

I booked her as a month of planner and it was as if I booked her for full time planning. The main thing I think all couples want out of their planners or any vendors is good communication. Michelle never left me hanging, I booked her only a couple months after she had a baby and being a new mom changed nothing. She had all the answers and referrals I needed. Planning a wedding during covid wasn’t easy by any means and definitely got frustrating/ emotional we ran through many problems and Michelle never failed to make me feel better about every hurdle because she wasn’t just my planner but treated me like a friend and reassured me every time I ran into any issues.   An Organized & Supportive Planner w/ an Amazing Team

  Michelle was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding back in 2019 (pre-pandemic) and she supported us as we navigated the craziness of postponing our wedding as well as helped us execute our small 48-person wedding ceremony in Nov. 2020 in a church parking lot that we had to convert into a decent ceremony space. A year later she created our day-of reception schedule and worked closely with our other vendors and helped us take care of last minute details in preparation for our 180-person belated reception this past November. Although she had conflicting events that day, she went out of her way to be there for the initial set-up and her planning team (Carolyn and Esther) were so on top of everything and organized! She left us in good hands! My husband was shocked at the end of the night that he didn’t have to pack his own car or give items to friends because Carolyn and Esther took care over everything for us. Highly recommend!

Although she had conflicting events that day, she went out of her way to be there for the initial set-up and her planning team (Carolyn and Esther) were so on top of everything and organized! She left us in good hands! My husband was shocked at the end of the night that he didn’t have to pack his own car or give items to friends because Carolyn and Esther took care over everything for us. Highly recommend!

  The best decision I made about our wedding

  If you want your wedding to be absolutely PERFECT from start to finish then you MUST hire Michelle and her team to take care of your wedding. I DEMAND you to hire them because you would be crazy if you didn't. Michelle and her team will take care of everything you could ever imagine and make your day as perfect or more perfect than you ever. She is so organized, on top of everything, and literally the best. I could go on and on about what she does but honestly, Michelle is a QUEEN. Your wedding will be so perfect, so beautiful, so organized, and everyone will BASK IN THE WONDERFULNESS OF YOUR WEDDING. Honestly, she should charge 10x more than she does and it still wouldn't be enough. They are that good. On top of how great she is at her job, Michelle is the sweetest and most wonderful human being ever. She has become such an amazing friend throughout this whole process. Just do yourself a favor and hire her right now, you will not regret it.

  Michelle was Incredible

  Hiring Michelle was the single best decision we made for our wedding in Irvine, CA in October 2019. Thanks to her guidance, expertise, professionalism, organization, encouragement, and care, our wedding turned out better than we possibly could have imagined. From our first meeting with her at a coffee shop about a year before, until the last guest left the venue on the big night, Michelle impressed us at every moment. Her services were a tremendous value that we can't imagine having gone without.
  
  Even with our average budget, she had a remarkable ability to make us feel like we were her most important clients. She took all of our requests seriously, she was forthright about costs, she recommended outstanding vendors, and she gave us an honest assessment of whether any of our non-traditional ideas would work. With her help, we designed a non-denominational ceremony at a venue that doesn't usually host weddings, and our guests raved. From big decisions to small decisions, she had endless patience for us, and she didn't hesitate to step in and make suggestions when we didn't know what we were doing. Not only did she take the time to understand our vision, she added her expertise and enhanced our vision.
  
  And I haven't even mentioned that we did almost all of this remotely--with her in Southern California while my wife and I lived and worked in New York City.
  
  On the wedding day itself, Michelle and her assistant were in total control and were total pros. They dealt with last-minute complications with ease and without me and my wife or the guests even knowing. From start to finish, because of Michelle's foresight and dedication, the event was seamless, and my wife and I were left to enjoy our day with the confidence that Michelle had our backs. Our goal was to be present and to feel like guests at our own wedding as much as we could, and Michelle made it happen.
  
  There is literally nothing else we could have asked for from Michelle. She executed a flawless event when it mattered most, and every guest and family member that saw her in action was blown away. She truly knows what she is doing, and we couldn't recommend her more highly.
  
  We even miss our regular phone calls and emails with her during the planning process--she was that much of a delight to deal with. Always a great listener, never pushy, and a true partner.   A hidden gem!

  I have been in the DJ business for close to 20 years and have worked with Michelle Sheppard on multiple events. I typically dread to hear that my clients have booked a coordinator but when I hear it's Michelle, I thank them for choosing the best.
  
  Michelle works WITH vendors to make sure we have everything we need in advance and goes above and beyond on the actual event day. On one occasion, Michelle and her assistant, Lily, noticed my water had finished and brought me a new glass! I'm a vendor, not a guest!! Throughout the event, I would see Michelle and Lily RUN to whatever needed attention and dedicated every last second to the smallest detail. Coordinators I've worked with tend to get things done early so that they can leave as soon as possible, this is not the case with Michelle and her team. At the end of the night, you'll find Michelle and her team moving all of the centerpieces out to the lobby so that guests will take them, pushing the boxes of unused liquor and decor, and making sure guests don't leave anything behind. Us DJs tend to be the last vendor out, but not when Michelle is the planner. She is the first one to arrive and the last to leave.
  
  I would recommend Michelle Sheppard Events to anyone that is looking for a top-notch planner.   Michelle coordinated a wedding where my group OurStrings4You played for the ceremony and a cocktail hour. The wedding was held at Ebell Long Beach. I've worked with many planners before and I have a lot of experience collaborating with them. I can say that Michelle and her assistant did an amazing job. I wanted personally thank Michelle for being attentive, caring and nice to my group and each of us personally. Believe me we don't get such attitude often. Michelle, you are on the right place doing the job you're supposed to be doing!!!
