  The staff is so amazing and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect and always did it with a smile and great attitude. The place is amazing and so many different locations on site to ensure you choose the perfect style for you! They helped to make my big day perfect!

  Milky Way Farms was the perfect venue for our rustic chic wedding. It provided the perfect backdrop for a Fall wedding with amazing views of the surrounding hills with all the changing leaves. The stone steps on the side of the manor house provided the perfect spot for our ceremony and required very little decorating because of the beautiful architecture. The same holds true for the inside of the manor house where we held our reception. The very large dining room table was great for the rehearsal dinner as well as the head table at the reception.   LOVED my wedding here. The location is just breathtakingly beautiful and it has such a wonderful history as well. We had an outdoor ceremony and a reception inside the manor house and everything was stunning. We had so many comments about how great our venue was. I couldn't have been happier with the location and the staff, they were very accommodating and helpful with all of our questions.

  We paid the deposit 8 months in advance to secure our date and booked the manor for a 3 day celebration weekend. My husband is in the military and many of our guests are from out of town, we thought it would be wonderful for close friends and family to spend the night at the manor after the rehearsal dinner and the reception. About a month before the big day I randomly saw a promotion for a Warrior Dash (Mud Run) on Facebook...the same day... Read more

  I was REALLY excited when I booked the Milky Way Farm for our wedding. I had read such wonderful reviews and fell in love with the gorgeous southern charm of the manor house.
  
  We paid the deposit 8 months in advance to secure our date and booked the manor for a 3 day celebration weekend. My husband is in the military and many of our guests are from out of town, we thought it would be wonderful for close friends and family to spend the night at the manor after the rehearsal dinner and the reception. About a month before the big day I randomly saw a promotion for a Warrior Dash (Mud Run) on Facebook...the same day and place as our wedding. Shocked and upset, I called the MW staff to ask if there was some mistake or reason for booking a mud run on the same day as a wedding!?!?
  
  I was given a slew of apologies and excuses for finding out on social media. Then, they asked if it was too late to change my date!?!? With our wedding less than a month away, invitations already sent, and venders booked we were stuck with the Milky Way. The staff assured my family we would be taken care of and we "wouldn't even know the warrior dash was there". Riiiiiiiiiight.
  
  Long story short. The traffic from thousands of people funneling into one place caused my venders and bridal party to be late. The mud run created an eye sore with their bright red signs, drunk runners, and unwanted guests popping in to see the manor while we were preparing for a wedding. The staff did very little to help us get ready, most of them were sitting at the end of the road directing traffic.
  
  I was extremly hurt and displeased with the Milky Way. Without my family and friends pitching in to help (and the fact that I married my best friend) the day would have been a complete diaster. I am truly thankful for those who were there to help save what the Milky Way tried so hard to ruin.
