The owners and staff of Millhome went above and beyond to help make our reception wonderful. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments on it. The prices were incredibly affordable as well. They were willing to work with us in doing anything that we could dream up and they were so easy to talk with. The reception room was beautifully decorated and we couldn't have been happier.

Stacy, Cheryl, and Mona were all super easy to work with and pretty easy to get in touch with when we had questions. They were very flexible and had no problems accommodating (at no extra cost) a few of our guest who had odd dietary restrictions. They worked with us to make sure the night went just as we wanted it. Ex. We had ideas on how we wanted to handle giving our wedding party drinks, and they didn't hesitate to roll with our ideas.
There's two main parts to the hall, so you can have anywhere from 100-400 guests and there's no worry about space. The food was amazing! We had countless guests tell us how incredible they thought it was. I'd highly recommend going with the Alaskan Walleye with Dill Sauce ;) There's no fee to reserve the hall which is awesome. You just pay for the food and drinks. And the prices are very affordable, which took so much stress off of our minds that we wouldn't end up with a massive bill. Highly recommend Millhome!!!
P.S. They also have a great brunch, which was awesome on the day after the wedding to have one last celebration with our closest family and friends.

We had our ceremony and reception at this venue. The hall is huge and very nice and the attached restaurant is newly renovated and very modern.
The food was EXCELLENT and many of our guests complimented on how good everything tasted. We were extremely satisfied with the wait service, the bartenders, and the cooking staff.
We did have one HUGE complaint though; the wedding coordinator, Kayla Raquet, was awful. She was rude, unprofessional, made excuses for everything, and was not able to deal with any stressful situations. Up until the day before the wedding she was satisfactory to deal with. On the day before the wedding she made numerous changes to the setup. She then blamed us throughout the night for why some things went wrong and was rude to us, both sets of our parents, and the wedding party. Food was served to the wrong table instead of to both of our parents tables and then this was blamed on us for not giving her enough time for set up. Part of a removable wall was opened in order to access the other room that we had reserved and this wall fell on one of our elderly guests. When Kayla was asked to have these pieces of the wall moved she again blamed us for changing the setup. Kayla was asked 4 TIMES to have these walls moved as they were a complete safety concern before they were taken care of. These situations, and more that happened, could have been dealt with in a much more professional way and it is disappointing that I have to rate this venue on the lower side just due to this one person.
We did have a great wedding day at this venue but it could have been made much less stressful with a better wedding coordinator. I do recommend this venue but hopefully they will have another option instead of Kayla going forward.
