  just amazing!!

  My husband and I got married in April 2024 and we could not recommend Mint Forever more! April and Stuart were so amazing from the moment we hired them until our wedding day. We got married in Sarasota, Florida and we live in Michigan so finding vendors for our wedding was very stressful. We spoke with April on the phone and we were so impressed with her! April and Stuart traveled to Savannah to do our engagement photos for us which turned out amazing! We knew our wedding photos would be stunning but we were completely blown away! April and Stuart are so professional while also being fun and making you feel comfortable. I completely forgot about the stress of the wedding day because they made us feel so relaxed. It was very important to us to enjoy our cocktail hour/reception, April and Stuart managed our time perfectly getting all of our photos done so we could enjoy the day! We will always be so grateful to April and Stuart for capturing every moment of our day

  10/10 would use them again!

  For my simple brides who want a yes or no - absolutely yes! This couple communicates, kept me sane when things were falling through and were a great support system on my team for my wedding day. Not to mention the amount of love you were able to see through the pictures. Our pictures really were worth a thousand words.
  
  For my more detailed brides- April was who I picked from the start because I immediately loved the candid shots and hues of her photos. I also was in love with all the videography on their site that made me cry every time I watched it. I knew this was the way I wanted to feel anytime I looked at our photos or video from our wedding. April called me and we set up what I was looking for and was in touch with me pretty much the whole time. She was able to create me a photography timeline by the minute so we could be as prepared as possible. Of course my wedding day went nothing as planned (nothing on their part) but this couple made sure that I was relaxed, and soak in the moments that only happen once. If you are like me and have no idea what shots you want, I highly recommend giving this couple some free range! They created such great pictures and even memories for us all in front of the camera. Overall we had a blast with them and hope to see them in the future ❤️😊

  Amazing experience

  We booked Mint Forever Photography for our wedding and recently did our engagement shoot with April. Words cannot express how happy I was with the experience! April was accommodating, professional and knew how to make my fiancé and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. Most importantly, she made the whole experience so much fun. We got our photos back within just a few days and they were absolutely stunning! She truly has an amazing talent and cares about her clients wants . We cannot wait for her to photograph our big day!!

  Best decision ever

  If you are mulling over several photographers and trying to find the best one, you can stop right now because you’ve come to the right place!! April and Stuart are the absolute best, hands down. They are professional, their work is incredible, they are just the nicest people, and they get down to business. I’d recommend them over and over again, and will use them hopefully in the future! They were slightly out of my budget, but I’d be willing to pay really whatever fee they charged for the service you get.

  Best. Ever.

  In all of our encounters, April and Stuart continue to exceed all expectations- professional and personal! They go out of their way to make sure your wedding day is special, even if that means cleaning up some spilled beer, picking no less than 3923 pieces of grass out of your veil, and shoo-ing away persistent family members nicely so you can stay on schedule. They are worth every penny, and I loved being able to go into our wedding day with full confidence in Mint Forever.

  In all of our encounters, April and Stuart continue to exceed all expectations- professional and personal!   Great team!

  From the first phone conversation with April & Stuart - I just knew we had to book with them! I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous to meet the people that would be capturing the biggest day of our lives, but when we met with them at our complimentary engagement session, they meshed so well with our personalities - it was like hanging out with good friends! They even had us come out to their home to try out a non traditional shoot and the pictures turned out amazing! April & Stuart are so down to earth and are very talented, I cannot say enough great things about them and their family who also helped out during our wedding day. ❤️ They all were so kind and really took the time to capture ALL of the special moments from our day. We have gotten so many compliments from our friends and family about the sweet photography team at our wedding.
  
  So far we have gotten our wedding sneak peeks back and I flip through them every day anxiously waiting to see the rest of their beautiful work from our wedding day - I just know they will look amazing!

  A dream come true

  I was super nervous hiring a photographer for our wedding day. I have previously modeled and I am painfully particular in what our pictures and poses would look like. I also know the price of wedding photo and video can be crazy expensive. So I really struggled with finding someone to book. With that being say from the very First time I spoke with april her openness to share her work and set up references I was sold. I could not speak higher of both Stewart and April as well as their kids who helped assist on wedding day. They fully captured our vision and did it with such ease. Their presence as a team is so calming and I never was worried about my timeline or missing any important shots and our wedding started 30+ minutes late due to shuttles not arriving on time. I requested additional hours as well as a second shooter and they were so quick to accommodate. They are worth absolutely every penny and my husband and I will forever use them for our photography needs.

  Above and Beyond Photography and Videography Team

  I did bridals with April and I cannot recommend this enough! I already knew April from our engagement shoot, but doing bridals made me so much more comfortable, confident, and excited for the wedding, plus it gave me and entire album of pictures to have forever and I wasn’t rushed during the business of the wedding day to get all of them in. If you’re on the fence about doing bridals, DO THEM.
  
  We also used them for our wedding and they were more than incredible. It ended up being unseasonably cold, but April and Stuart had a game plan to make sure we got outside photos with breaks in between and specific times to go in and warm up. I couldn’t be happier with how our pictures and video turned out.

  BEYOND What We Could Dream Of

  April + Stuart are a phenomenal team that directs you from start to finish. Especially if you are nervous about wedding photos, or don't feel like "the model type," these two will make you feel comfortable, happy, and like yourself. I definitely needed that on my wedding day! Splurge and GET VIDEOGRAPHY! You will love having the video as a keepsake to watch over and over again (it's our new binge). The photos we have received so far are so beautiful and capture the joyful feelings we felt on our wedding day.

  Poor communication after cancellation / no contract

  I was so in love with April’s work and was excited to book her for family photos that were scheduled right before a cross-country move to memorialize our time in our first home. Both she and I had busy schedules, understandably, so we ended up giving ourselves only a short window of time right before the move to get the photos done. Unfortunately, she cancelled the morning of the photos due to personal reasons. I am completely understanding that things come up sometimes, and perhaps it was an emergency that could not be controlled. I want to reiterate that I am empathetic to this.
  
  However, I then responded with well-wishes for her health and her family’s, while also inquiring if it was possible to reschedule to the following day, or if she knew of any other photographers in the area that could fill in (rescheduling didn’t seem crazy as we had originally talked about the next day being a backup day for weather). I would have been willing to do whatever I could to make it work for her. I received no response then or when I sent one last text asking for her thoughts.
  
  This photoshoot was extremely important to me and could not be recreated once we moved, but beyond that, I got charged by my makeup artist for the last minute cancellation, spent hours clearing the living room of moving boxes to make room for the photoshoot the day before when I should have been focused on packing, spent money on outfits that didn’t get used, and had other moving obligations pushed aside to make time for the shoot. Since we were leaving three days later, there was no time to book another photographer.
  
  I am not so much disappointed in the cancellation, but more so in the lack of communication after. Even if personal reasons kept her from sending me a response that day or in the week following, I would think in the month since this occurred she would have had a chance to say SOMETHING. As a small business owner and photographer myself, I cannot fathom just completely leaving a client hanging like this. There were posts on her Instagram account a couple days later, so I imagine they had access to a phone.
  
  We did not have a contract, only a Venmo deposit payment (which was returned). Next time, I will go with my gut on requesting a contract for any shoot that is time sensitive like this one was. I would have loved to work with this photographer but am beyond disappointed with how it all played out.
