Miranda Marrs Photography is incredible! I chose a wedding package which included boudoir, engagement, and wedding day.
Boudoir: During the boudoir shoot, I felt completely comfortable and sexy (which is not something I feel every day). I felt like I was hanging out with a friend, while also wearing lingerie lol. Miranda has a great space for boudoir and I highly recommend booking a shoot with her, because she will empower you and help you to see how beautiful and sexy you are. It was truly a transformational experience for me. It was also fun to gift some of these photos to my husband the night before our wedding. We are both so grateful for these photos!
Engagement: Not only did Miranda choose the perfect spot to shoot our engagement photos, but she also picked the perfect time. We had great lighting and were able to get some sunset photos. We never felt rushed, and taking the pictures was a blast. Lots of laughter- seriously, this woman is hilarious!
Wedding day: On our wedding day, we had two photographers included in our package. Together they captured so many special moments. We completely trusted in Miranda all day, and were able to relax, have fun, and enjoy our big day, stress-free. While we were worried that taking photos with our families in 104-degree weather, Miranda worked efficiently and had us back in the air conditioning in no time! The only problem you’ll have if you choose Miranda for your wedding day photography is having to choose your favorite photos among the many gems! Luckily, she had sorted the photos in a thoughtful way, which made that task even easier.

Working with Miranda was such a joy! Honestly. Without even having seen a single one of our engagement photos, we were raving about her to all of our friends, especially those getting married soon! Miranda took our engagement and wedding photos and we could not have been happier with the whole experience! We had SO MUCH FUN and were so comfortable with her. Plus, the small thing of OH MY GOSH these photos! Miranda has an amazing eye, and captured our day so perfectly for us to cherish for years to come. Thank you, thank you, thank you Miranda! There is no one else that I would have wanted to shoot my wedding. Miranda and her team are flexible, positive and high energy. Her communication is extremely timely which is more helpful than you can imagine. Her quality of work is stunning. On the day of my wedding, she was everywhere! Aside from my wedding, she did an amazing job capturing my bridals. She has a great blend of guidance but allows you to have fun and be yourself while she is shooting you. I can't say enough positive things about her and her team!There is no one else that I would have wanted to shoot my wedding. Miranda and her team are flexible, positive and high energy. Miranda's work speaks for itself so it's easy to see she's a talented photographer who finds those beautiful shots with gorgeous light. BUT something you discover only from actually working with her is how enjoyable she is to be around. Miranda did our engagement and wedding photos for a small, intimate wedding and she was such a pleasure to have there with us! Miranda is everything you could ever ask for in a photographer for one of the most important days of your life. She showed up ready to work and help in any way possible to make sure everything was perfect. She is a true professional while still having a genuinely warm personality that made us feel completely comfortable. She made the planning portion easy and enjoyable and on the wedding day she was flexible and all around awesome. The best part of it all...the photos! I am still in awe. She is a brilliant artist and we are so blessed to have met Miranda and have these amazing memories of our day. The raw emotion of the moments in the day come through in every picture. The editing of the the photos is absolutely beautiful and flawless. I hired Miranda for my engagement and wedding photos and couldn't be happier with the outcome. I feel quite awkward in front of a camera, but Miranda made me feel so comfortable. She made me feel so special on my wedding day and that extra boost of confidence can be seen in the photos she captured. I have so many wonderful photos from Miranda that it's been incredibly hard to narrow down my favorites! Not a bad problem to have. Words alone cannot express how incredibly impressed we have been with Miranda Marrs. She is an amazing photographer and her skills should be the envy of everyone else in the business. Yet, I don't feel the need to go on about the outstanding quality of her services because, to be honest, her work speaks for itself. What truly makes Miranda stand out is the passion she has for what she does and the fact that she is one of the best human beings that I've had the pleasure to meet in my entire life. From the moment that we met Miranda, her number one priority was getting to know us and who we are as a couple, so that she could use that knowledge to guide us during photo sessions and truly capture our essence on film. We had a geek/nerd engagement session and wedding, and Miranda embraced every aspect of our non-traditional wedding. If you want a photographer who will become emotionally invested in making sure that your wedding is perfect and who will motivate you, cheer you on, and constantly compliment you, then you should look no further than Miranda Marrs Photography. And regardless of how awkward or self-conscious you think that you might be on camera, Miranda will instantly sweep those feelings away. She made us so comfortable and relaxed during all sessions, but most importantly, she made sure we had so much fun. I can truly say that we had a blast and in the end that made our pictures look phenomenal.
I also think it is amazing that she takes the time to do a blog for each engagement session and wedding. I think it is reflection of her amazing work ethic that even after a session is done, she still wants one more chance to make her clients feel like stars. It truly brought all the "feels" to my heart and tears to my eyes to read about my wedding from her perspective. Our pictures were totally just "us" and they captured all the precious memories of each event. For our wedding pictures, she captured special moments and couples that we never mentioned - it was like she was part of our family and group of friends and knew exactly what to do! I would absolutely recommend Miranda! She is one of those people that is just super fun to be around, which makes taking pictures actually enjoyable instead of a necessary evil. (Even my husband, who hates taking pictures, mentioned this.) Not to mention, her photos are absolutely amazing. Our wedding photos are beautiful memories from the best day of our lives and she captured them perfectly. After the wedding, several members of the bridal party & family even commented on how much she helped coordinate and keep everything on schedule throughout the day - on top of capturing every moment on camera! One specific thing that I seriously appreciated throughout the whole wedding planning process was her professionalism. She was always super organized, prompt in returning emails, and extremely easy to get a hold of - which I found in wedding vendors is not often the case.I would absolutely recommend Miranda! She is one of those people that is just super fun to be around, which makes taking pictures actually enjoyable instead of a necessary evil. (Even my husband, who hates taking pictures, mentioned this.) Not to mention, her photos are absolutely amazing. Our wedding photos are beautiful memories from the best day of our lives and she captured them perfectly. WOW is all we can say! I don't even know how to leave a review that gives Miranda enough credit for all she does. From the very beginning we knew we had to have her shoot our wedding ( we actually planned our date around her schedule :) ). If her crazy magician skills behind the camera doesn't sell you on her, her patience, constant humor, and just overall compassion will. Miranda just gets it. When I began my wedding planning, I knew that my photographer was going to be the most important vendor I chose. I was looking at pictures of my venue on the internet and i came across these amazing pictures that took me to Miranda's blog. I immediately began looking at all of her pictures and thought in the back of my mind, these are spectacular, which probably means I can't afford them (haha). When I contacted Miranda, I realized I could make it work to have the photographer that first caught my attention! Working with Miranda was so easy and professional and I loved every minute of it. Our engagement photo session went great! She made us smile and laugh the whole time, not an awkward moment, which obviously created beautiful pictures! After that, I had all the confidence in the world that our wedding pictures would be phenomenal, and I was not disappointed! Miranda and her second photographer captured every moment on our wedding day and then some. The little moments between scott and I, the amazing lighting and sunset at our venue, and of course the family and all the guests. AMAZING photography (got my bridal pictures and wedding day pictures done through her)! Miranda is able to capture those precious, meaningful, candid moments unlike any other photographer I've known. My wedding went exactly as I had imagined it thanks to her help, and I'll cherish all these photos for a lifetime. Seriously, she's a down-to-earth, happy-go-lucky, focused, and intuitive photographer that you will ABSOLUTELY LOVE!AMAZING photography (got my bridal pictures and wedding day pictures done through her)! HOLY COW!! Miranda is literally the best photographer ever!! She made my husband and I feel SO comfortable shooting with her! She worked with us to figure out the vision and also able to shoot our engagement pictures with two dogs with no problem!!!! The wedding day went flawlessly with her and her assistant! They were able to guide the whole bridal party on what to do and when and was able to get everyone to pay attention (which was a task in itself)! I cant thank you again for how wonderful you and Kristina are!!!! BOOK HER YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!HOLY COW!! Miranda is literally the best photographer ever!! I don't even know where to begin, except for the fact that Miranda is absolutely AMAZING! I first saw her work on Facebook years before we had even planned a wedding and I told myself, "If I ever get married I want this to be my photographer! No if, ands, or buts....it was necessary! We ended up getting a wedding package that included engagements, bridals, and of course the wedding day. Every session felt so comfortable and she really did an AWESOME job giving direction, all of the photos came out beautiful. During my bridals Miranda was pregnant and she still crawled through grass stickers, got down on the road, and even fought a KILLER spider like a BOSS (it was so hilarious!) Her and Kristina truly captured the emotion of our wedding day in each photo. The only thing I'm have a problem with is choosing which photos I want to display in our house. Okay so I am crazy about Miranda. When I met her for a consultation I knew right away this was our wedding photographer. She makes you feel like you've been her friend for years (which also helps guys loosen up in front of the camera). Her style is timeless and she is SO talented. I'm still having trouble deciding which photos to hang up around the house because I want to showcase them all! On top of all of that, she found out over the summer that she was pregnant and was due just 4 weeks after our wedding. Miranda was my first wedding planning email in the hours after my engagement. I had been following her for years on Facebook and she had photographed my best friend's wedding in the month prior to my engagement. Miranda is very fun and professional to work with. She can photograph a pile of dirt and make it look beautiful. My bridal portraits were taken on a rainy day and she knew exactly how to handle the outdoor photos where my dress was still pristine when we were finished! Miranda Marrs was the absolute most important aspect of my wedding! She is the greatest! PICTURES LASAT FOREVER!! From the very beginning when we did our consultation she was very funny, PROFESSIONAL, and excited to be apart of our day. She made my fiance feel very comfortable with the entire process and picture taking. He said after everything was all said and done that Miranda was his favorite vendor because of how laid back and fun she was while delivering us amazing pictures. SHE IS BEYOND FLEXIBLE! I had to cancel my bridal appointment twice and she moved around things, always emailed me promptly, and helped me schedule a good time. NOT to mention how phenomenal my bridals turned out. TAKE ALL THE ADVICE SHE GIVES YOU! This woman has seen so many weddings and done so many photo shoots and knows what she is talking about. If you are willing to try things and also be flexible and trust her you will get every inch of what you paid for PLUS MORE! She handled my crazy family wonderfully during my wedding while we were trying to take 100 pictures. Her VALUE is beyond compare. She will take every picture my new husband and I will ever need in our life. The quality of her work is amazing and her second shooters provide the same caliber of quality as well. Her prices are more than fair and she will add and subtract from her packages anything you want to make your budget work. I had done extensive research and looked at well over two dozen photographers in and around the DFW area, and none quite had what I was looking for. Once I came across Miranda Marrs, I inquired for more information and thought that I had found my photographer. Once we had our first meeting, I knew that she was exactly who I was looking for. She was easy to talk to and a genuinely nice person. I could tell that she loved what she does and she is very good at it. She has unique and fun ideas, while still retaining her professionalism. She did not want to just copy a "Pinterest" idea, she wanted to be the one who created that originally. I wanted engagement pictures and bridal photos that showed both my husband and my personalities. Miranda helped with picking locations and gave advice on renting a couch/prop. I never stressed with the photographer aspect of the wedding, I trusted her completely because I loved all of her work. Her turn-around time with the photos is very quick, and she is always excited to share the photos - which makes it that much more fun to view them. The price is definitely reasonable, and I got everything I wanted in a package, including all engagements, bridals, over 8 hours of wedding-day shooting, a canvas photo and a guest sign-in book. I now see Miranda as a friend and not as someone who just took our wedding photos. There is no one in the world that we would've hired instead of Miranda Marrs Photography to capture our wedding. There is nobody who could have better captured the essence of our relationship and our story, or who could have provided a more beautiful product.
First Miranda took our engagement photos which were a bit more of a styled shoot than what Miranda would've normally taken, but the details were incredibly sentimental and important to us. She completely nailed it and captured all of our details. My husband, who is normally incredibly humble and camera shy, continues to go on and on about how comfortable Miranda made him feel and how he looks like he's "from the pages of a magazine or the Anthropologie catalog." The texture and light are incredibly beautiful, and the photos were so beautiful that we chose to use them for the front and back of our invitations as well as a number of other details at the wedding itself. My bridals were the same wonderful experience. She has a natural ability to relax her clients and make them feel at ease. Her direction is natural and she can make even the most awkward of birds (me) look like a movie star.
I am the world's biggest control freak and micromanager. For our wedding, I crafted EVERY detail personally including the music, flowers, catering, decor, etc. HOWEVER, even with THAT personality and our photos being our top priority besides our commitment, I was able to completely hand over my trust to Miranda to capture our event without ever feeling an ounce of anxiety. There was no need to give her a list of shots I wanted taken, or to question anything she might do. She has proven herself time and time to be the best in the business and she captures the emotion and the relationships that are important instead of over-posed shots that you will never want to see again. She tells a beautiful story every time and brings out the best in you and your people.
