The venue is beautiful and provides many areas for breath taking photos. The owners are great about answering questions and helped me decide my setup. You can dress this venue up or have simple decorations (as I did) because it’s just that pretty.

Chrissy and her team made our wedding day amazing! We are so grateful for their help and their venue!

From the moment we saw the property we knew that we wanted to get married there. We really liked that we were able to have the ceremony on-site and that it had a bridal suite for the girls to get ready. Everything up to the day of our wedding went smoothly. All our questions were always answered in a timely manner. The day of our wedding, we were able to get there early to start decorating. The vendors made all their deliveries with no problem. Everything came together and it was absolutely beautiful!

Misty Morning Barn was such an amazing place to have our wedding! With the outside lighting and the fire pit alone gives it a sense of radiance that is unparalleled to any other venues we searched. All of the guests were in awe of Misty Morning Barn. Chrissy was great to work with and always available for questions. This place is so unique and so cool, can't say enough about it!! After doing tons of searching, we found the perfect place! Misty Mornings Barn was not only one of the most beautiful places. They had everything my husband and I were looking for. From the outside and inside venue, beautiful place to get ready, bonfire, to the kitchen, and working bathrooms and much more. They were so professional and flexible with all of our requests and needs. Loved every moment of the experience and would recommend them to anyone!

Imagine sending yourself back 100 years and being surrounded by oak trees and Spanish moss, with perfect lighting coming through the trees in the late afternoon, and a big beautiful rustic Georgia pine barn. That’s what you get at Misty Morning.
To put it simply: you are not going to find a better barn/rustic wedding venue in SW Florida. We looked at them all, either through personal visits or websites/photos/videos, and we have to say that this venue was the most magnificent. You might be thinking, “wow bold statement,” but there’s quite a few things that set this venue apart from the other wedding barns. First and foremost, it’s on an alligator farm! Doesn’t get more Florida than that! Secondly, it has the most gorgeous barn on the market! Third, and maybe most important, it has the best pricing, bartending options, catering, and location that we could find (very close to Fort Myers airport and hotels). The pricing was so great across the board that we were able to rent the venue for the entire weekend and put money into more decorations/vendors that made the day that much more amazing. Here are a few special things that we want to mention about The Misty Morning Barn experience:
The owners are very passionate about this place and about making your special day the best day of your life. For us they had to be real with managing our expectations (more to come as to why), but that did not hinder one bit how special they wanted to make our wedding day… We were one of the first to book this venue back in September 2018 for our November 2019 wedding. When we booked the place (after looking at other barn venues), the barn had NO DOORS on it, there were no bathrooms built, no kitchen, no brides quarters, and no grass (the entire area in front of the barn was tilled-up dirt). Most people would have ran for the hills, but we sat down to meet with Mike and Karen soon after our tour. After talking with Mike and Karen and hearing their vision and realizing the amount of work they had already accomplished in such a short period since they started building, we doubled down with them and booked for a year out. In that year they accomplished more than we could have dreamed of. They told us about their vision of the kitchen and brides quarters but that we WOULD NOT have that in the time frame that we booked (again, managing our expectations)….WRONG! Within months we saw photos on their Facebook of all the progress they were making; Kitchen, bathroom, brides quarters, grass/paving, and much more. Six months out from our date and we had zero doubt that this barn was going to be the best choice we could have made, and it was!
So you may be wondering about two of the most stressful things… catering and the bar. G3 Catering is the standard in catering in the Fort Myers area. They are major caterers for events downtown and they have been doing weddings for years (and it shows)! They are also part owners of the venue so it’s a one stop shop when planning. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food. It’s also fun to see the pig roasting on a spit as your guests arrive! They were great working with our price range and creating a menu that worked for us. Waiting staff made sure that as the bride and groom we had a plate ready and drinks constantly filled. Bartenders get a 6/5 rating and that’s no typo. These folks will not only keep the party going, but they know how to crack jokes and keep smiles on your guests faces. They provide you with bartenders at an hourly rate if you bring your own alcohol. We paid for 2 bars – 1 for cocktail hour outside and 1 inside for the reception. Since we did the BYOB option we went to Total Wine and stocked up on kegs, wine, alcohol, and mixers. The only setback is that they do not provide ice, but that was an easy fix as Karen suggested a company that brought 600lbs pounds of ice for the entire night. We spent around half as much on the bar as we would have if we paid for an open bar for 175 people at the other venues, and we still had leftovers!
WEATHER: This is an outdoor venue so plan accordingly. The barn has ceiling fans and they open the doors to keep it cool during the reception (no A/C). We understand that the venue doesn’t have a thermostat where they can just turn down the Florida humidity/heat so we won’t ding them for the weather. If its hot expect typical Florida gnats in the ceremony area that you get being in the swamp during the hot months. We kept the ceremony short, provided fans, and warned everyone to bring bug spray, so it wasn’t too bad.
Overall, choosing Misty Morning Barn was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. The venue is spectacular and if you’re looking for a rustic or southern vibe, look no further. There’s not enough good things we can say about this venue and the people who run it. You’ll be in great hands!

It just doesn’t get any better than this! I was nervous about being the first wedding at Misty Morning Barn. With a blank canvas, the possibilities were endless. My fiancé and I decided to do it all ourselves (and with the help of friends and family), and we couldn’t be happier. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was astounding! We bussed in our guests in so they didn’t have to worry about driving. It was beyond magical! Not only is this barn equipped with enough outlets and breakers to handle the job, but then there’s the chandeliers and the lighting is amazing. The DJ had no problem running music anywhere, whether under the oak heads, in the field, or inside. The bathrooms were such a Pleasant treat and large enough for my entourage to help me in and out of my wedding dress. The men loved the fire pit and corn hole. There was something for everyone. G3 catering came through with some amazing attended food stations for our guests to interact with. Their staff was impeccable, and on top of things the whole night. People are still messaging me saying that it was the Best wedding they have ever seen or been to. It’s like it was cut out of a magazine. The Rush and Gavala family really do everything they can to make your event feel like it’s important and I would recommend them and Misty Morning Barn to anyone who wanted to make their special day or event extra magical. This is a true Southwest Florida Gem and I’m so happy to look back on these memories knowing this was the best day of my life and it’s all because of them. When can I go back to renew my vows and do it all over again!

Misty Morning Barn was EVERYTHING that we had dreamed of!!
Not only was the property perfectly serene and beautiful, but the primary vendor recommendation for catering and party rentals also ended up being perfect because they were familiar with the venue and provided exceptional service and value as well.
The venue was very flexible with our needs and went above and beyond to help us make our day perfect in every way!!
For anyone looking for an outside venue, I’d absolutely recommend Misty Morning Barn.

This venue was beautiful and everything went so smoothly!

G3 was able to work with us to make our vegan wedding amazing! They customized the menu to our tastes which we appreciated it so much! They even found outside vendors to supply food items that were special to us. We had SO many compliments on our food the day of. We are so glad we worked with them.

If I had any critiques, I may say that Karen sometimes isn't as responsive as I would have liked when I had pressing questions about details. Expect it to take a couple of days for her to get back.

Also I questioned the value at times. While the price of the food was comparable to other vendors, the alcohol seemed unreasonably upcharged. Just to do beer and wine, they wanted a very high price. We ended up getting our own beer, wine, champagne, and ingredients for a specialty cocktail at one fourth the price they wanted to charge for just beer and wine.

Other than that, I would very much recommend their services!!
