I had a great trial with Melissa before my wedding and knew I wanted her to do my makeup on the day. I have very sparse eyebrows and when I saw her work online, I LOVED the way the does eyebrows - filled in, but natural. At the trial we settled on having an elevated natural look. We played up my eyes, but kept the lip more natural. On the day of she arrived on time and got to work. She pampered me with gold under eye patches. It was a really pleasant experience and kept me calm before everything got started. I loved my make up and my Matron of Honor's. I would hire her again to do my makeup for other special events. -

Melissa! I don’t know where to begin. I booked Melissa for a trial which also happened to be for my engagement shoot. When I saw the end product, I was hooked. Melissa you did an amazing job. Your professionalism, patience and most importantly your work is amazing. My bridesmaids and I cannot thank you enough for making us beautiful for my big day.
Ladies if you are looking for a makeup artist, look no further. I highly recommend Melissa (MJ). I’m not a woman who wears makeup but if I need it done for a special occasion I will be using her. She’s got a new client for sure. -

Happy I found a makeup artist who does phenomenal work. MJ is friendly, professional and will have you walking away looking FAB-U-LOUS. Her makeup application was flawless, totally transformed. I love her lash line, her lashes are natural looking but still gives you that Glam look which I love. If you are looking for a makeup artist that will deliver the look you are going for and more, look no further. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -

I found MJ on Instagram while searching for a MUA for my wedding. From the makeup trial to the day of my wedding, MJ has always answered phone calls and text messages. She answered questions and also provided tips. On 8/3/19, the day of my wedding, MJ arrived early to set up and to allow the ladies to get use to her. Every Bridesmaid made up by MJ was in total awe over her work! All of my wedding guest kept asking and saying, Whomever did your make up, SHE DID THAT!!! For many know that I am not a woman who is into make up, but I trusted MJ not only because of her professionalism but also because she is sweet woman inside a out. A true Gem!
Will I recommend MJ to anyone? ABSOLUTELY, MOST DEFINITELY!

Melissa was amazing! I was referred to Melissa by my wedding planner Danielle Regis-Roberson of Style and Flair Events. Melissa did my makeup for my bridal shower and I was immediately impressed by her professionalism and sweet personality. I knew right away that I wanted her to do my makeup on my wedding day (May 23, 2019) as well as makeup for my mother, maid of honor, and matron of honor. I felt so beautiful that day! Melissa will be my go-to makeup artist for every big event in my life moving forward! -

I was referred to MJ by a make up artist who was unable to travel to New Rochelle. From the moment I reached out, I knew I had found the perfect artist for me and my bridal party. She did an amazing job at the consultation (we both asked lots of questions and then got started). I was totally blown away. I booked her immediately. She is very professional and the booking process was streamlined and simple. As the wedding approached, we both reached out to each other to confirm everything. The day of the wedding, she arrived early, set up and immediately got right to work. My bridesmaids do not usually wear makeup and they were concerned … HA!! Once MJ finished with them, they were in awe!!! We all looked and felt AMAZING!! I would recommend MJ - 100% - hands down - no question!! She is the real deal. -

Beatrice Sent on 09/20/2016I was in search for a MUA in the TCI area for my sister's destination wedding. Others were recommended to us but I was not particularly impressed with their portfolio, especially as a woman of color. We were looking for someone who had experience doing a diverse group and who was able to give us the drama we were looking for without being garish. I did research for a solid 2 weeks before I came across Melissa's name. I researched and stalked her Instagram page for another 2 weeks and was very excited because I saw she had a really good range.
I reached out to her and she was very prompt in her communications and easy to work with. On the day of, she came in early and ready to go. The final product was amazing! She had us feeling GORGEOUS. I could not take enough pictures! I HIGHLY recommend Melissa and if she were to every come up to the NYC area (or I go down to TCI), I would most definitely use her again.
