  Annie is an incredible wedding planner. I hired her for for full wedding planning for my wedding and she handled every single aspect to perfection. Her ideas are top notch. Plus it was like having a bestfriend throughout the entire planning process. She put my mind at ease and kept the entire process stress free. Thank you for everything you did for my wedding. There will never be enough words to describe how grateful I am for having been referred to you.

  I have personally hired Annie not just for my Best Friends' Wedding, but a few more special occasions amongst my family and friends. Every event has created wonderful memories and its all thanks to Annie, her husband Joe and great staff. We will continue to use Modern Chic and Shabby Events by Annie for all of our future events as they deliver extreme professionalism and coordination! Thank You Annie!

My now husband and I are so happy that we made the right choice in hiring Annie and Joe of Modern Chic & Shabby Events by Annie to handle all the logistics, set up and our personal flowers, which by the way we just loved every detail and thought behind the designed.   Normally it is my understanding that husbands do not write reviews, and that they are not as involved, that was not my case. As a very involved groom, I was the one to hire Annie & Joe of Modern CHic & Shabby Events by Annie, they came highly recommended by a co-worker of mine. My wife was so surprised with everything we choose, and the theme i came up with. I really wanted to give my bride the wedding of her dreams. Annie and Joe and their incredible and highly professional team members truly delivered on all aspects of our planning process and on the day of our Wedding, not to mentioned our rehearsal and the dinner they also planned. . I can say they are truly passionate and go above and be on to make sure things go smoothly. My wife was in another country and a different time zone, they didn't care and they answered every call and made her feel so at ease, which made me feel so sure I made the right choice.   Thank you so much to Annie and Joe of Modern Chic and Shabby for creating the most beautiful Baby Shower for me and my baby boy. They referred the most amazing photographer for my maternity shoot thank you so much Daylin . All of the details for our Baby Shower we're just so special.   I have hired Annie for both of my daughters weddings! She is absolutely amazing and attentive to every single detail and doesn't forget a thing. She is very passionate about what she does and I absolutely adore her. If you're looking for a wedding planner, she is the best and I highly recommend her to everyone that I know looking for a planner!

  Annie planned both our wedding and our daughters sweet 16 party.
  With our wedding it was a 4 day destination wedding with family coming in from Washington State and New York. We "Glamped" the whole weekend and it was fabulous! We were literally in the middle on nowhere which meant there was quite a bit of coordination and planning that needed to be done. Annie handled it all and it all went beautifully and absolutely smooth!
  Our daughters party was another example of professional expertise by Annie. It was a wonderful night thank to Annie and Joe! I highly recommend Moder Shabby Chic Event by Annie!!!

I wanted to make sure that my daughter had the very best of everything. I thank a very good friend of mine's for referring me to this amazing couple of planners and coordinators, They went above and beyond our expectations from traveling to New York and back to Florida, all I can say is thank you is not enough. We highly recommend this amazing team who are very talented, organized, and professionals. I highly recommed Modern Chic & Shabby Events by Annie for your next destination or local Florida Wedding or special events.   I'll be very honest, at first I felt that I could do the planning myself or have a family member assist but its not that easy. I don't know where to start when it came to Annie Muniz & Associates. She literally came into my life and took all the stress away from my planning. She made sure to include my desires in every single detail. She went above and beyond and she definitely blew my mind. She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She is very family oriented, talented and creative. As far as planning, she definitely out does herself. She did everything with love and was very patient with me. I lost my mom 3 years ago and she made sure that my wedding had my moms touch everywhere and that feeling was priceless. When my husband and I renew our vows, Annie will definitely be the person that I will contact. I have met a life long friend and I'm so honored to have met her.   We hired Annie as a day coordinator for our wedding. In the beginning Annie and Joe were on top of things. HOWEVER, the day of our wedding that somehow changed. Annie seemed annoyed with all that was going on. Annie told us she would make sure everything was set up how we wanted, The week before Annie took everything she needed for the wedding. We gave her name cards for our guest, Honeymoon fund box that needed to be set up, waterfall fountain for our desert table, food description cards for the food etc. She told us she would take care of everything and make sure it gets done. WELL!!!!, needless to say that was not SO. At around 7:30PM, Annie was more concerned about leaving at 9PM because that's when she was paid until. Many of our guess were told by Annie "Just take a seat anywhere because this is a mess. She was in charge of making sure the food was set up which did NOT happen. Food was left unattended and most of the food had to be dumped. Our photo booth personnel was told by Annie she didn't have access to a table to set up and left. At around 8:30PM Annie told our MC "Here you go, you're in charge because I have to leave. Make sure they are out by 2:15AM!!! We had to do a change of cloths in between the wedding, Annie gave us 10 minutes to change rushing us, again because she had to leave. At one point she started sending out the wedding party when the bride was not even ready. Annie was VERY unprofessional as many guest including myself encountered sporadic arguments between her and Joe.
  
  These are just a few mishaps that took place from what Annie promised. Please make sure you are getting what you pay for. I strongly recommend having a back up plan just in case you run late and Annie is more concerned about leaving on time rather than having your wedding coordinated properly. If I had to do this all over, I will NEVER hire this couple to coordinate ANYTHING!!. Do your reviews and find out more about them before planning your special day.
