User2460717 Sent on 12/09/2015Marlene was wonderful to work with!! You can tell that she loves what she does and takes pride in her work. She only works on few cakes at a time to make sure her cakes are fresh and exactly how her clients want. The options given were phenomenal and we were able to taste all. Marlene listened to everything we wanted while giving us some suggestions. The end product was beautiful and delicious. All of our guests raved about how tasty, moist and fresh the cake was. When we left our final meeting Marlene was so excited for us and gave us a hug.....I think that says it all!!Molly B's Cakes of Distinction & Design's reply:

User1018286 Sent on 11/16/2012I had met Marlene during a cake decorating class a few years ago at our local Michael's craft store. I later found out that she was a long time friend of my fathers. So when my husband and I finally chose a date, she was the only person we spoke to about our cake. I had thrown a few ideas around and shown her a few pictures of what I thought I wanted. After the third time that I had scratched out the previous ideas, we had finally nailed it down! I was a little nervous about the cake only because I hadn't seen it before the wedding at all. We had picked out our flavor, which was 4 layers (alternating chocolate and vanilla) with strawberries and cream in between the layers (YUM!!), but we never saw what it would actually look like. On the day of the wedding, when we walked into the reception, we were completely surprised with how amazing it turned out...(not to mention how delicious it was when we got to taste it!!) All of our guests LOVED it - for its looks AND for its taste! We had many compliments throughout the night regarding it. Marlene is really great to work with and will listen to what you have to say and will make that into reality. -

Kristen Sent on 09/10/2012Molly B's~ I loved my Cake!! Working with Marlene from the first time I met her was a breeze... She helped me creative a 3 tiered cake and accepted all of my ideas and helped refine them into a cake like no other. She created templtates and stencils to make our cake reflect our weddings style and flair. How did it taste you ask??? Well... lets say chocolate and vanilla cake with a raspberry filling and buttercream that I still dream out! Moist cake and just enough filling that you get the taste but aren't feeling overwhelmed by it! Jessica Sent on 07/17/2017We absolutely loved Molly B's Cakes of Distinction. At the wedding, our cake was a showstopper! Marlene worked with us to get the exact design and look that I wanted, and our wedding cake EXCEEDED expectations. We went with the cappuccino and buttercream filling, and everyone loved the taste!! I highly recommend Molly B's Cakes of Distinction--they do great work and were a pleasure to work with. The only down side was that she gets really busy during wedding season. We wanted to have a small replica cake made for our 1 year anniversary, but she was all booked and couldn't make it. It was a little costly, but totally worth the $$$!
