Expertly Captured Moments with a Personal Touch
When it came to choosing a photographer for our engagement shoot in Ocean Shores, OR, and our wedding in Issaquah, WA, we wanted someone who could make us feel at ease, especially since we were a bit camera-shy. Ashley and Rob from Moments and Mountains Photo and Film went above and beyond in making that happen. From the moment we met them, they made us feel comfortable, taking the lead when we didn’t quite know how to pose or what to do.
Ashley had a way of explaining things that turned what could have been awkward moments into something fun and natural. She would set up a shot, talk us through it, and promise it would look great—and she was absolutely right. Whether it was a large group shot with all my groomsmen or intimate moments with just the two of us, she captured everything in a way that felt true to who we are.
One of the best parts of the experience was how Ashley managed to capture the personalities of everyone involved. The group shots with my groomsmen stand out as a great memory, reflecting the energy and fun of the day perfectly. We’re beyond happy with the photos, and we’re already planning to have more sessions with them in the future.
Receiving a sneak peek the day after the wedding was a pleasant surprise, and the full collection arrived quickly, filled with images we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for a photographer in the Tacoma or Olympia area who not only delivers incredible photos but also makes the entire process enjoyable, Moments and Mountains is the way to go. Ashley and Rob are not just talented—they’re the kind of people you want to be around on your big day.

They did an amazing job at capturing my wedding. I have a very large blended family and they were able to work with us to stay organized and get every picture that I wanted for the wedding without feeling rushed or having big gaps between people. They were upbeat and fun, making it easy to laugh and feel comfortable during what can easily be an awkward experience. I got the pictures back faster then expected and was so happy with how everything turned out! -

I cannot recommend Moments and Mountains Photo and Film highly enough for anyone seeking top-notch wedding photography in the Tacoma/Olympia/Seattle area - they really are the ultimate wedding photography dream team. Ashley and Rob truly outdid themselves with both our engagement shoot and wedding day. They captured all the feels and fun of our big day. No request was too big or small, from posing a huge bridal party (20 people!!) to coaxing smiles out of the little ones (Yes even the 18-month-old flower girl!) - They aced it all! Their photos are nothing short of breathtaking. Each image feels authentic and natural, a testament to their keen eye for detail and genuine passion for their craft.
One of the standout qualities of Ashley and Rob is their easy-going personalities. They have an incredible ability to make you feel comfortable and relaxed, which is so important on such a significant day. Their friendly approach made the entire photography experience enjoyable and stress-free.
The day after the wedding I received a mini sneak peek collection that I was able to immediately share with family and friends- I’ve never seen any other bride receive photos so fast!!! Just a few short weeks later, I received the entire stunning collection of photos, something we will cherish forever. If you are looking for photographers who can deliver beautiful, candid, and heartfelt images while making the entire process pleasant and memorable, look no further than Moments and Mountains Photo & Film. When we watched our final video and went through our photos, it was like reliving the entire day. Everything they delivered was flawless and we couldn’t be happier. We’re amazed at how perfectly Ashley and Rob captured the essence of our wedding day.

We had a great experience booking Ashley as our wedding photographer. She was very responsive, professional, and took breathtaking photos at our wedding ceremony and bridal session! Ashley was efficient and direct, wasting no time to get the best shots and poses. You can tell that she is incredibly experienced and is passionate about her work. We received our high quality, edited pictures very fast. We highly recommend booking Moments and Mountains for any special event! -

Amaaaaazing!
Ashley and Rob are absolutely amazing. Not only are they some of the nicest and coolest human beings, but their work exceeds expectations. All of our photos from our wedding were beautiful and captured our day perfectly but THE VIDEO..... that left me blubbering because it was so beautiful and even my husband started tearing up - which says a lot considering he didn't even cry at the wedding. Their work is top notch and working with them was so incredibly easy! We HIGHLY recommend Ashley and Rob! -

I wish I was writing this review to brag about our gorgeous wedding photos, but due to Covid we sadly had to postpone. However, Ashley turned something sad and stressful into a cherished family memory and I’m forever grateful for her. She was completely understanding and flexible and let us turn our wedding deposit into a family photo session! I am blown away at how beautifully she captured our family. She even got my grumpy 7 year old to smile! She is seriously the sweetest and so easy to work with.
10/10 recommend if you want a photographer that treats you like a friend, not just a client as well as a talented artist!

Ashley and Rob perfectly captured our wedding 5 years ago. Every moment with them felt so natural and they blended right into the vibe of our wedding party and ceremony/reception. From helping with poses to delivery, everything was seamless and our photos and video are some of our most treasured possessions. A few months ago, our wedding photos and video were lost when our computer was destroyed. Ashley searched her backups from years past and by some miracle found our photos. She took hours of her personal time and resources to upload our photos once again and deliver them so we could download and back them up. Five years later her and Rob are still here for us. We truly couldn't have chosen a better duo for such an important day. -

My husband and I were married last year in a bit of a fever. After the excitement we realized that we didn’t have a ton of pictures that captured just us. I contacted Moments and Mountains a few weeks ago and thankfully Ashley was able to book an elopement session with us! From the initial outreach all the way to the receipt of the images, Ashley was a dream to work with. Kind, timely, and amazingly talented!
