  I would choose MonPhotography over and over again!

  Monika photographed our August 2023 wedding at The Oliver Building in Kansas City, and I would totally recommend her!
  We first contacted Monika after seeing her work on The Knot. The quality and style of her images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a photographer that was able to capture beautiful pictures in a venue that doesn’t provide a lot of natural light. Monika’s vibe aligned exactly with what we were seeking. After meeting with her, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The connection and ease we found with her shows through in the final product. We are generally very awkward and not pros at posing in front of a camera. Monika knew exactly how to make us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend. We received our “sneak peek” just days after the wedding and the pictures are everything we expected and more! Jeremy and I can’t thank you enough!

  I hired Monphotography for a photoshoot. The photographer was very easy to work with. She listened to my wishes. She shared professionally her ideas and opinions when she knew sonething might not turn out, even though I wanted it.
  
  She has great skills, and you can that and her quality through her work.

  Amazing photographer!

  Monika is truly amazing!!! I was extremely nervous to take photos , because I have never had a professional photo shoot done . My fiancé and I enjoyed Monika as she made us feel extremely comfortable and was super down to earth! We got our Engagement pictures back in 3 days and are OBSESSED!!!! 10/10 would recommend. I’ve already had several people reach out to me on who my photographer was! Thanks, Monika!

  Magical experience!

  Monika took our engagement photos and wedding and we are blown away! She made everything easy and fun! My husband and I aren’t picture people- both awkward and never know what to do with our hands- but Monika helped guide us and made everything feel really natural! I will cherish our pictures forever and ever and I WILL be working with Monika again!

  Super talented, patient, and amazing photographer!

  Monika did an amazing job with our destination wedding! We hired her without ever knowing her. All I had to see was her portfolio and I was sold, not to mention her responsiveness to all communication was great! She captured every memory and then some. We received our photos within 4 weeks of our wedding date, which is incredible timing in my opinion! She was fun, energetic, and made my husband feel comfortable the whole time (he hates taking pictures). I can’t say enough about this girl and her passion for Photography. She has a true gift and talent to offer anyone!

  Beautiful wedding photos

  Love! Love! Love Monika & MonPhotography. I really can’t say enough great things about our experience with her and her professionalism on our wedding day. Mother Nature definitely through us a curveball with a torrential downpour, but Monika was fantastic and knew just how to handle it. For our wedding party photos, she worked with us on backup plans for photoshoot locations and somehow we were surprisingly able to still get in many outdoor shots (thanks to her creative thinking & umbrellas). At the reception, she really captured the life and love of the party. So great!

  Monphotography is the best!

  My husband and I just recently used Monphotography for our wedding and engagement photos and she is hands down the best photographer I have ever worked with. Monika is very professional, artistic and is an absolute joy to work with. We were very comfortable with her throughout the planning stages and during our shoots. She delivered exactly what we wanted on time and above our expectations. We plan on using Monphotography for our next milestones :)

  We do not regret for a second choosing Mon to do our wedding and engagement pictures. She was everything you'd want your photographer to be - creative, personal. considerate, professional, and relaxed.   Phenomenal Photographer

  Monika Herbert the owner of Monphotography is phenomenal! I would highly recommend this photographer not just in Kansas City, but globally. Her attention to detail is impeccable, whether it be a mini-session, wedding, or newborn shoot. Her work is second to none, and the editing skills she has is magical. But all those previously stated positives aside, the owner is friendly and allows you to feel relaxed. (Which can be difficult with a camera in your face) Also, she's reliable and professional and those qualities are hard to find period. You won't be disappointed when selecting Monphotography (Monika Herbert) as your photographer, I definitely have not been. Thanks Monika!

  She's magic!

  Our wedding day ended up being frigid and was moved inside last minute, but she worked with us and made it happen! Our photos are gorgeous. She thought of everything - from bringing a step stool because my groom is tall to taking the perfect detail shots. Thank you so much, Monika!

  MonPhotography will always have our business!!!

  Monika is nothing short of AMAZING!!!!! We hired her for our engagement session as well as our special day. Let me tell you, she made it that much more special for us! We did not have to worry about a single thing when it comes to pictures! We had a very large bridal party (23) and a large family photo session, but that was nothing to Monika. She took charge like a true professional and took the most amazing photos! We were on schedule the whole day with pictures and not one hiccup with the timeline. All because of this amazing lady and her experience that she brings!! I would highly recommend MonPhotography for any of your special occasions! You will not be disappointed!!!!

  Monika was absolutely amazing! The pictures turned out beautifully and we are so happy! She was so easy to work with and really put us at ease ;) We had limited sunlight after the ceremony and she made it happen. I cannot say enough about her and we are so lucky to have found her. I hate taking photos but she made it really easy to relax and get some great shots!

  Monika is the best photographer I could ask for. She's such a sweet person. It's exiting to see how passionate she is about what she does. Every time I look at our wedding photos I get happier and happier! Her style is phenomenal and I can't see anyone other than her taking photos for my family

  From our first coffee meeting, to our engagement photo session, wedding day, and all communication in between, Monika was absolutely a m a z i n g ! Super easy to communicate with. Very professional, calm, cool, and collected. Her unique style really captured our engagement photos and the entire wedding day in such a beautiful way. Very natural, nothing forced. She also had all our wedding photos back to us in less than two weeks after the wedding! I was so surprised!
  
  The second photographer Monika brought in for our wedding was Dustin Duewel. He was awesome as well!! Very easy to work with on the day of the wedding! Loved the different angles he was able to capture throughout the day! Thank you, Dustin!!

  I don't even know where to start when it comes to how much I love Monika and monphotography!! I first met Monika after asking on Facebook for recommendations for a photog for engagement pics. I had a ton of names, and I just new Monika was the one when I saw her style on her web page. She had the most amazing ideas and long story short- our photos looked like they belonged in a magazine.
  Imagine how pleasantly surprised we were when she told us she photographed destination weddings!! We had just booked our wedding in Cabo, but didn't want to be stuck with the crappy and extremely expensive resort photographer, so we booked Mon to come with us! (It was actually more cost effective for us to bring Monika with us than to pay for only 4 hours of the crappy resort photographer, and she photographed ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT long.)
  She did an AMAZING job organizing our large family that likes to talk a whole lot more than they like to listen. She also did amazing with all the littles that we had in our wedding. In addition, Monika helped me a lot with wedding day logistics to which I was completely oblivious, which was far beyond her requirements.
  By the end of her time in Mexico with us, I think all of our guests were just as in love with her as we are. She took beautiful photos of many of the couples that attended our wedding, aside from just the wedding party. I know they appreciated the keepsakes. She also photographed our rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner night without us even asking.
  I have to toot Monika's horn one last time, about something that I think is a huge deal surrounding a wedding- turnaround time on getting photos back! Holy crap... we had the link to every single one of our beautifully finished photos before we got home from our honeymoon. I was so surprised and happy when she gave us a few sneak peaks just two days after the wedding. Now we can use a wedding photo of our choice for our thank you cards, and still send them out in time.

  We absolutely LOVED Monika!! I was recommended from a few co-workers and she did not disappoint! She was so easy going which was great for my husband and I, especially since he's a little shy around the camera. She made us feel so comfortable! I couldn't ask for better quality of pictures. She captured the best moments of our special day, and found the perfect spot for us for our engagement pictures. She is truly so talented! I got SO many compliments about my pictures, and they will be something I cherish every day forever! Thank you Monika!!

  Monika is an outstanding photographer!! Our wedding photos are amazing. It rained the entire day and she was still able to capture photos outside and you would have never known that it was raining. She is also great at getting your photos back very quick!! Great personality and very personable. You won't go wrong with her!!

  We could NOT have been more blessed to have Monika be a part of the biggest event in our lives!! She was absolutely amazing through the whole process, from engagement pictures to my amazing boudoir shoot to the day of the wedding. She handled everything with grace and complete composure, which was so much appreciated considering how much of a mess I was that day! Monika knows how to make you feel 100% comfortable and she is able to pull real emotions out during what can sometimes be a super awkward experience (I hate having my picture taken!). She did a wonderful job of keeping family members organized for pictures the day of and capturing the sweet, usually understated, moments.
  
  And I just have to say that every single picture looks like it came straight out of a magazine!! We were BEYOND impressed with every aspect of working with Monika, from her professionalism to the PHENOMENAL quality of work she produces! Also have to mention her RIDICULOUS turn-around time! Everyone I talk to is blown away with how quickly we received every set of photos! Monika is amazing! Her passion for photography is so very evident and it really showed in every single photo. We'll be using Monika for all family photos in the future! She's one-of-a-kind, that's for sure!!
