  GUYS! I LOVE MO'S BBQ!!! I went to college in Memphis so BBQ is near and dear to my heart. When we were looking at food for our wedding, we came across Mo's BBQ and it was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. It was incredibly affordable and Janet was amazing to work with. After the wedding, we were given about 30 lbs of leftovers which several of our guests ended up going home with. The following morning we received texts from our guests having ribs and tri tip for breakfast :) I also loved that our guests were able to have 2nds and 3rds as opposed to a plated dinner and there was the delicious aroma of smoked BBQ all afternoon.
  
  I highly recommend Mo's and can't wait for our next trip to SLO so we can go back to their restaurant!

  My wife and I live in Southern California but when we found our venue at Santa Margarita Ranch, 3 hours away, knew we would have to find vendors that we didn't know and trust that they would do a great job. I won't lie...it was a scary thought. Then we found Mos BBQ. I called to get pricing and they were so easy to work with. I told them what we were looking and our date and Janet took care of everything. It almost seemed to good to be true. In a world where wedding vendors over charge and require huge deposits Mos BBQ gave us a great price and told us we could pay however we wanted, upfront or the day of the wedding. It was such a relief. Janet set up a day for us to come in and try the food while we were in town one day. The food was DELICIOUS. Our guests confirmed that over and over on our wedding day. Having Mos catering our wedding was perfect. I highly recommend them.

  Mo's BBQ catered my wedding in October at the Holland Ranch, and it was AWESOME. The atmosphere of the Ranch made it a no-brainer that BBQ would be a great food choice, and Mo's 100% delivered. Known for a variety of great BBQ, my husband and I love all of their menu items, and so we chose to have a selection of ribs, BBQ chicken and Tri-tip, along with green salad, potato salad, beans and garlic bread. Which was just enough variety to please everyone… and everyone was REALLY HAPPY with the food, and there was so much of it !!!! Mo's also provided some nice fruit and cheese platters, sausage, chips and salsa to serve during cocktail hour. And of course, the dessert. We opted out of having a cake for everyone, and had a selection of dessert bars and treats for guests. This was a huge success, and Mo's provided an insanely awesome and delicious selection of goodies.
  
  Besides the food being awesome, service and presentation was also great. Buffet style service made it easy service for all of the guests to pick and choose their own foods. Staff helped to clear dishes from tables in a very prompt manner, and kept areas clean and presentable after all were done eating, and ready to continue on with the festivities. Everyone was so professional, and a pleasure to work with for our big day.
  
  Being the bride, every little detail is so import to construct your Big Day. Planning every detail, you want to be sure that you have it just right.   Mo's BBQ has always been my husband and I's favorite place to eat in Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo! We are die-hard Mo's fans! So when we decided to get married in Pismo Beach, we immediately contacted Mo's to see if they could cater our reception. I worked with their coordinator, Janet Wright. Janet is wonderful! Mo's caters events all the time - so Janet is a pro at working and planning for an event. In fact, her no worries / everything will be perfect / enthusiastic attitude made Mo's and Janet our favorite vendor! We had 55 people and no wedding coordinator. So Janet coordinated with our hotel on her own and even offered to help coordinate the dinner at the reception! Janet is like having another mom at your wedding! I didn't worry about anything knowing Janet was there! And the food - well, if you haven't eaten at Mo's and you love BBQ then you need to go eat there asap! Their food is mouth-watering, makes me drool just thinking about it, we dream about it good! In fact, we couldn't wait until our wedding reception when we got into Pismo Beach a few days before our wedding - we had to have it the night we arrived! At the wedding reception / Mo's dinner, our guests went nuts - even the vegans ate the ribs! And everyone went up for seconds and thirds! Janet made my husband and I plates because we were busy with sunset pictures, but the food did not run out even though so much was consumed! Janet provided us with plenty of food for everyone to feel like they had a BBQ feast! People told us our Mo's dinner was memorable when at other weddings, it never is. We were not surprised - we knew people would feel this way - which is exactly how we feel about Mo's! Mo's + Janet = a winning wedding reception dinner!!

  We had the pleasure of working with Janet, the owner of Mo's Smokehouse BBQ. From day 1, she has been very helpful and easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, she was the one cooking the food and serving the buffet table! The food was awesome!! Everybody loved it...especially my husband and I. We went to visit her a few days after the wedding and also had lunch over there. Everything on the menu looks yummy! Janet is the sweetest too!

  Janet, the catering manager, is extremely friendly and easy to work with. She was very helpful on the day of, and let us borrow a tablecloth for the bar and a couple utensils that we had left behind. The food was very good, especially the tri-tip!
