Tracy Sent on 10/02/2011To say he is a "DJ" is an understatement of the services Matt provides. He blew my husband and I away. We knew he would be great from the day we met him for dinner to discuss our wedding, however we never realized we were hiring a person who would end up acting as a day-of-coordinator! He made sure we were all lined up correctly and gave us cues, always had people going in the right direction, announced important things to our guests that I never even thought of having him do (but am SO thankful he did!), and his scavenger hunt had the kids engaged and having a great time. We couldn't give Matt enough thanks for everything he did for us, and will continue to recommend him for as long as we know people getting married! -

**Harold Q. Sent on 09/20/2011Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank YOU…. We had a great time. You are truly worth every penny we spent and then some. My coworkers, friends, and family are still reliving the night every time we talk. You proved to be more than just a DJ from getting us water while we were taking our photos to making sure everything flowed smoothly to suggesting a location so that our big day was not ruined. We sincerely appreciate all of it. If I could give a higher ranking for Matt I would, Tropical Storm Lee forced us to change our plans for our wedding and DJ Matt made sure our wedding was memorable. DJ Matt we are truly thankful for everything. -

James Sent on 03/30/2011Matt was the best to work with. It did not take a lot of back and forth for him to get the details we wanted for our reception and he made the evening flow very very smoothly! Matt was on the money on every single detail and kept me on track with our schedule of events for the evening. He was very flexible throughout the evening, mixing it up with great music continuously, and was very monumental to making our party what it was. Thank you so much Matt. Worth every dollar spent and then some. Thanks for the military discount Matt. I highly recommend him to DJ your next event. Doesn't much classier and the service he provides doesn't get much better! -

Michele Sent on 10/30/2010Matt Garner is a fantastic DJ. His repertoire of music is unbelievable. He knows how to get the crowd moving. Matt gets out on the dance floor and leads the crowd in dancing many different dances. He is attuned to what is happening at all times, and announces toasts, tossing of bouquet, garter at appropriate times. I highly recommend Music by Matt. He also gives military discounts. -
User2096187 Sent on 04/14/2015Matt was the DJ for my wedding reception. His planning worksheet was thorough and he made sure we discussed everything so he knew the timeline/lineup of events for the reception. He was always in communication with my wedding planner so that they were both on the same page throughout the reception. The songs played during the "guest dancing" at the end were all fun and great, but unfortunately he did not really play any of the guest song requests during the "dinner" time. The version of the 1st Dance song was not the version that I had requested and the introduction of the bridal party was a bit bumpy (we had each pair walk in to a different song). Overall Matt did a good job. -

Victoria Sent on 07/19/2012Matt is a very personable and a friendly man. He's not very talkative on the mic but he and his assistant helped to keep our party going. He will do whatever you ask of him and can find the music that you request- like the Muppets Theme! My new husband has DJ experience himself, so Matt was kinda under the microscope. Matt was great about with getting back to either of us with a response to questions by email or telephone. Best wishes to the future Matt! -
User1240508 Sent on 07/14/2013I will start by saying that Matt was not my Dj, however we payed the $800 for his services. After we payed he let us know that one of his employees would be our Dj. At first I thought it was no big deal, they would send a professional. WRONG! I had turned in the planning sheet before the dead line talked to the person who was going to be our Dj and thought everything was sorted. This person even came to me while I was getting ready to go over the music, and still got it wrong!! If your planning a wedding you know how much you want everything to go as planned, especially when you go over it AGAIN five minutes before hand. The Dj played the wrong song (something in Spanish....really!!!) for the processional, it was just supposed to be piano music. The thing is, it's not like this wasn't an instrumental version of a song the artist was a pianist, there are NO WORDS so how I ended up with that...? Add that to the unpreparedness, the never ending technical issues and the pure awkwardness of our Dj... I asked for a slow song so I could have a dance with my boss and a techno song was played, albeit it wasn't a super fast techno song, but still weird. And instead of getting with the reception coordinator like the dj was asked to, this person bothered me every 20 minutes with a question. There are many other issues, but I'm sure your tired of reading. My overall review of this company isn't good. I was very disappointed with the service and will not be using again, nor do I recommend them.
