  Incredible musicians

  I cannot recommend music for the moment enough! We reached out to them for our November 2023 wedding at the pleasantdale chateau. They were lovely to work with. Very quick to respond, accommodating with song requests, and also helped us map out our ceremony with timing. They sounded beautiful on the day of and really made our day special. Our guests also raved about them! Several guests came up to me and said they were incredible and asking for their info for their next event. I’m so happy we booked music for the moment and I would highly recommend you do too!!

  Karen and her team were incredible!!! We had them play at our ceremony and cocktail hour, and they sounded absolutely amazing. Karen was so accommodating (I struggled to pick some songs), and she helped me figure out what to play and offered some suggestions. I debated on even having live music, and I am just so glad that I did. It made our ceremony and cocktail hour so much more romantic, intimate, and upscale. I would recommend Karen and her team to everyone, and if you’re not sure whether or not you want live music for your ceremony, GO FOR IT, and hire Music for the Moment! They are so amazing.

  We hired Karen and her team for our wedding in Liberty House, NJ. From the onset, she was patient and flexible to hear our preferences. On the day of, she performed exactly as expected playing the songs for our prelude, ceremony, and cocktail hour. Everyone commented how nice of a touch it was to have her team and we're so glad that we chose her. Would highly recommend!

  We went with the string trio with Music for the Moment for our wedding ceremony as well as our cocktail hour, and they did a fantastic job! They were so easy to work with and had a great library of songs to choose from and were even willing to learn new songs for us, which they did and performed them perfectly. Karen was our main contact, and she was so nice and a joy to work with and drew rave reviews from all of our guests. We would definitely recommend Music for the Moment for other couples!

  Breathtaking! We had the honor of having Music for the Moment perform at our wedding ceremony. I believe their music made a world of difference. The string quartet was so sophisticated and skilled. Not only in music, but also in aiding the movement of our wedding procession. Their timing was on point! Karen was wonderful to work with. Correspondences with her were always professional and pleasant. I requested somewhat obscure songs from Japanese animation movies, from Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle, and how magically transported they made me feel! They played Concerning Hobbits so joyously as my parents and I walked down the aisle; it truly added a little pep in my step. I reveled in them playing Gershwin’s Summertime and ever so romantic songs from West Side Story. I am so grateful for all the hard work they put into preparation for the event and I highly recommend them!

They are very friendly, reasonably priced, and played well at the wedding! Love this vendor and definitely recommend!

  An Excellent Choice!

  We had Music for the Moment do the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and they were great! They also accommodated us and played an untraditional recessional for the ceremony. Ms. Kamp was great to plan and work with. Super responsive and kind.

  What can I say about Karen!!!!! She was so amazing and professional! I was the last minute bride for everything and I booked them 2 weeks before the wedding. She was so polite and understanding with everything! I love the music they played. If you are thinking about booking them, please do it now! You will not regret it!

  Karen and Music For The Moment, we’re extraordinarily professional and extremely talented. We truly appreciated the flexibility with moving their orchestra outdoors, despite the threat of rain and potential damage to their equipment (thankfully the weather held out). They were very amenable to our needs, thorough with preparation and courteous throughout. I would solidly recommend them!

  Such a nice tough

  I worked with Karen as a violinist for our ceremony and cocktail hour. She was incredibly nice, responsive, going above and beyond to get us an obscure song we requested. She had a large catalog of songs to offer if you aren't sure. The music was so delightful in person and well worth the experience. It really made our event extra special.

  Single Violinist for small reception

  Karen was so wonderful to work worth! She was able to play all the songs of my choosing and it was absolutely beautiful. She was very responsive and communicated with me for weeks leading up to the ceremony so I was 100% comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

  Sweet Violinist

  Karen Kamp is a brilliant violinist. She has shared with me once on the phone about the history of how she became the owner of Music For The Moment and it is truly admirable. She sent my husband and I a list of songs to choose from and I felt that she was very organized. She is willing to work with you when it comes to prices — she was even willing to play for our traditional church wedding last minute although she was hired for the cocktail hour. She is such a sweetheart on the phone, via email and last but not least in person. She provided me constantly with words of encouragement and when hiring a musician for your wedding she is the kind of violinist you need. I just wish I could’ve hired a couple of violinists to play alongside her with her as the lead of course ;)

  Music for the Moment - Wedding Renewal Music - April, 2022

  Hi Just a few words about Music for the Moment.
  We had a string trio for my daughters wedding and a piano player for the cocktail hour.
  We loved it and all the guests enjoyed every minute of it.

  We had a string trio for my daughters wedding and a piano player for the cocktail hour.
  We loved it and all the guests enjoyed every minute of it.

  Highly recommend Music for the Moment!! I had violinist Linda Howard and she was absolutely amazing!! We had her perform for our ceremony and cocktail hour and the music was perfect! The perfect blend of romantic and modern!
