  Excellent wedding planner

  We planned our multiday, multicultural wedding (Indian and Persian) with Nahid over the course of 16 months and it couldn’t have been done without her! Wedding planning is exhausting and stressful and the wedding planner becomes a vital and intimate part of the process especially over a long planning period. It’s extremely important to find someone who cares, advises, listens, is experienced and most importantly is available, and Nahid is just that.
  
  Nahid was excellent, caring and well organized and helped us with every detail from securing our venues till the moment we left the day after our wedding. She communicated with us frequently throughout the process understanding our vision, helping coordinate and advise, and at times keeping us calm! She is well versed in multicultural weddings and is patient with managing the expectations of family members as well. It felt like we had her on speed dial closer to the wedding!
  
  During the wedding planning stages, Nahid provided valuable insight negotiating, securing and reviewing venue contracts. With so many moving parts in our wedding, it was extremely helpful that she would find suitable and reliable vendors for us to pick from. Closer to the wedding, she came for site visits and was not afraid to provide her insight while respecting our vision. During the actual wedding festivities, her team worked incredibly hard to keep everything coordinated and running smoothly so we could enjoy our wedding weekend. She was able to manage any issues that came up with vendors or sites directly and smoothly so we wouldn’t have to worry.
  
  We couldn’t have been happier with the experience we had with Nahid and her team and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great wedding planner!

  Nahid is Amazing

  What we loved about having Nahid are too many to list but the most important were:
  A. She secured the location when our original location fell through.
  B. Provided additional value discounts from vendors who worked with her before all of which were people we wanted
  C. Was a calming presence with her whole team on the day of and there was no sense of stress or last minute problems
  D. Allowed us to pursue our vision even when she disagreed but provided valuable advice based on substantial experience
  E. Consistently had name recognition among all vendors which made us more confident that they would not want to fail with a well known planner attached
  F. Felt like she genuinely wanted the best for us even when we gave her headaches
  
  Absolutely, we would recommend Nahid Global.

  Excellent Wedding Planner

  I highly recommend Nahid! She was my planner for my Indian wedding, which included sangeet, wedding, and reception events. We were supposed to get married in June 2020, and she helped us navigate two Covid-related postponements. She was available to chat with us at any time and fought for our vision. She brought us creative ideas and advised us on the best way to approach vendors + timeline while still letting us have our unique vision. During our wedding weekend, Nahid and her team helped all the events run very smoothly and handled any issues without our input. I can't recommend Nahid enough.

  Nahid's a Must Have Wedding Planner!

  Nahid was the planner for my Indian wedding and she was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I would give her 100 stars if I could! We signed Nahid on for our wedding about 7 months ahead of the event. Unlike most planners you will encounter in your search, Nahid was available for us to contact her whenever we had questions from the time we signed her on. Most contracts you will see only start consultation 1-2 months before the event (depending on the type of contract you get). She was available via phone and email and spent ample time with me at site visits and mock table setups, truly more that what was outlined in her contract. And trust me when I say that those additional months of contact make a big difference. There is nothing worse than signing all the vendor contracts and then have your coordinator/planner come into the picture and you realize you could’ve done better. She also initiated contracts with our vendors that she recommended and it was nice to have her as the main contact person for some of our vendors. She recommended quality and reliable vendors throughout the process. I can truly say that Nahid is professional, experienced, and world class.
  
  My parents and I attended most of the in-person meet ups with Nahid together. I have parents that were very particular in their likes/dislikes and Nahid was respectful of their opinions. I loved how Nahid asked me what details were most important to me. She made note of them and ensured they were carried out the day of the wedding. The entire wedding day stayed on time, she was great at this and all my guests commented on how they’ve never seen a wedding so organized and timely. I wanted the day to start at 9:30am and it started at 9:27am. I wanted dancing to start at 10pm and that’s exactly when it started. My guests were shocked and really enjoyed that for once, things happened on time at an Indian wedding. There are few planners who will keep you updated on the timeline during the event and Nahid did just that.
  
  I feel like I put so much pressure on Nahid during this event. We had a parting gift that we wanted to be given to most of our guests and she carried it out. I also had disputes with the catering manager at our venue and she ensured that the communication continued to move even if I didn’t want to be the one to directly communicate with him. On the day of the wedding, she ensured my husband and I ate and were resting in the break. The dance floor/DJ closed at midnight and she was there beyond 1am getting all of our supplies back to us in an organized fashion. She does her best to not bother the bride/groom unless necessary. Honestly, Nahid treated my wedding as if it was her own daughter’s wedding and I have great respect for everything she did to make my day special. You will never go wrong choosing Nahid as your wedding planner. She will voice your concerns with vendors and ensure that everything is carried out accordingly.

  Extremely Experienced and Detailed - No Stress Wedding

  I will start and end this review with the same comment..."I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NAHID AND THE TEAM AND NAHID GLOBAL!" My now wife and I hired Nahid as our coordinator for our fusion wedding that incorporated both the Hindu and Christian wedding ceremonies. And I will gladly and loudly admit that it was a perfect event due to Nahid’s guidance before the event, and her and her team’s assistance on the day of. Below are just a few reasons why I recommend this Nahid Global:
  
  **Communication - Nahid was not only really responsive to emails and phone calls, but she made herself always available to verbally discuss if needed. In our case, we had numerous questions around the fact we were having a fusion wedding, and how to integrate everything. Nahid was always happy to share her suggestions and opinions which we not only appreciated, but helped tremendously to make our wedding perfect.
  
  **Flexibility - As time approached our wedding, there was lots of minor changes to timeline and things related to our vendors. Additionally, as with any large event, there was some hiccups on the day of. However, with the help of Nahid, I did not even know all the things that went on since her and her team handled everything, and somehow made sure everything was just as we wanted. From vendor deliver timelines (to then dealing with delays), to specifics she knew about vendors and their needs (due to her extensive work in the industry), she adapted to the needs of everyone to facilitate a cohesive event.
  
  **Great support staff – Nahid is great, no doubt about it. But I can say that she has a great support as well. Her team was always available on the day of for my wife for anything she needed, to directing guests, to coordinating with the vendor and DJ, to getting my wife and I water and food throughout the day. They had considered everything that we didn’t even know we needed until we needed it. They were exceptional.
  
  **Attention to Detail – The biggest and strongest attribute to Nahid is her attention to detail. She had everything and everyone on the same page, and as we expected. She knew how everything should be set up and to ensure that everyone knew what to do, and most importantly, that my wife and I were not stressed. And we were not. And as a bonus, she assisted us in getting a refund for a vendor that did not provide services up to par.
  
  **Extremely Experienced – Nahid’s experience is extensive. Only after hiring her did I learn of how well known she is in the industry. In our wedding alone, she had known and worked with our officiant, DJ, Florist, and Event Design company. This not only helped with facilitating everything, but she knew how all the vendors worked or their preferences. Also, she was able to give us invaluable suggestions and advice. And most importantly of all, we really didn’t stress at all during the day. She had us reassured prior to the wedding that she had it all under control, and she sure did. The event went off perfectly.
  
  I can go on and on, but I think I have made my point. I highly recommend Nahid Global for any future event planning.

  Fantastic Service!

  Nahid helped me plan my wedding over the last 9 months. I cannot imagine going through this process without her support. Although I purchased a partial planning package, she was happy to take my calls or give me input any time that I needed guidance. She suggested vendors, but never made me feel obligated to use them. She had an opinion, and always shared her view point based on her prior experiences. She trusted my vision, but really helped guide me when it came to the most important/impactful areas to spend our budget. She is an absolute professional, extremely knowledgeable, and super organized. All of our vendors loved working with her.
  
  The weekend of our wedding, she never missed a beat. My husband's family and mine are not easy to please, and they all were extremely impressed by Nahid and her entire team. She went well beyond the call of duty, and did numerous favors for me. Her service level is impeccable.
  
  Final note -- all of my friends and family had warned me that "something will go wrong on your wedding day, you have to let it go, and not let it effect you". I can honestly say that nothing went wrong on my wedding day, and I fully attribute that to Nahid's level of organization and experience.

  Beyond expectations

  I couldn't be any happier that Nahid was my wedding planner. My wedding was beyond my expectations and how I imagined it to be. Throughout the wedding planning, she's was available at all time through phone calls, and in person whenever necessary. She was extremely organized, helpful, and recommended the best vendors that made my wedding day the way I wanted it to be. I always wanted my wedding pictures to be taken with city view, and she made my dream come true by arranging our pictures at the helipad. She cared about all the things I wanted, even the smallest details!! She made sure to be there through food tasting, florists appointments, rentals, even phone calls/emails with the DJ, hairstylist, make up artists to make sure everything goes the way I wanted. She was super organized with all the contracts, timing, and wedding day schedule.
  When it came to the wedding day, I honestly didn't stress about anything, everything went as planned. Nahid and the team took care of everything, from the smallest detail, to the biggest. She definitely made my wedding perfect

  Great team!
  Since our first meeting to the day of the wedding, a load of stress was taken away with the help of Nahid and her team.
  They were professional the entire time and made sure that my husband and I enjoyed our night.
  Not only did the team keep it professional but they did everything with class!

  Vera-Ricks Wedding

  We live in the Bay Area, and Nahid was the day planner for my daughter’s destination wedding, at the La Valencia Hotel.
  
  From beginning to end, she was there with advice and suggestions for all aspects of the wedding and reception. She coordinated everything with all the vendors, including the minister and the hotel! We brought several items down for the reception, and she set up everything, the ballroom was absolutely gorgeous!
  
  She kept everyone on track, so the entire day flowed smoothly. She even handled a couple of glitches, and none of the guests ever knew the difference.
  
  I can’t emphasize enough how much time and effort Nahid put into this day, giving my daughter and son-in-law, the wedding of their dreams.
  
  We could not have done it without her!!!

  Working with Nahid to plan our wedding remotely from Africa was pleasant. She was very helpful in sourcing vendors and making sure we got the best deals. She did a great job pulling everything together the day of the wedding and making sure all the vendors delivered their best for a seamless and flawless day.   Nahid was exactly what I was looking for in a wedding planner. She is experienced, she knows all of the best vendors in the business, and she's SO GOOD at what she does.
  
  She was kind and thoughtful when I told her about my vision for my destination wedding at the Loews Coronado, and she worked with me in making sure that it was absolutely perfect- and she made sure we stuck to that vision. She recommended vendors, worked on contracts with them, and thought of other creative ideas that we could include in our wedding (like a nitrogen ice cream station at our pool party which ended up being a hit).
  
  She knows so much about Indian weddings (more than either of our families did!) and was able to guide us on things we would even need for the ceremony. At no point did I need to do anything at the wedding- she took over completely and managed her crew and all the vendors. We were all so relaxed during the weekend that we had time to enjoy each and every event (we had 4 big events and not once were we stressed about anything).

  Nahid's Global Events is one of a kind, I truly love the experience I did have working with her and her team. Nahid helped me plan my wedding back in 2016 at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California and it was breathtaking - nothing short of AMAZING. Nahid has the perfect temperment to work with perfectionist or those who have a lot on their plate or whom are stressed out and just want things to be perfect. She is very patient and attentive to your needs and request and handles herself with a great deal of professionalism. She will go out of her way to get the job done and is extremely respectful. I actually thought of Nahid the other day when I was thinking of planning a small intimate dinner for my husband's birthday and how amazing she would have been to help me get it all together. I wish I actually called her, but I look forward to getting to work with her again - hopefully soon.   Simply the best! A saving grace during the wedding planning process, which can get very overwhelming. She's honest and super helpful and really does work hard to get the best deal she can for you. Emails/phone calls/texts answered extremely quick, and overall just a sweet person to have by your side. I can't recommend Nahid enough!!!

  I had the extreme pleasure of first meeting Nahid many years ago when my sister was getting married. Although my sister choose someone else, I never forgot Nahid. Now when it was my time to get married, I went straight to Nahid and made the best choice ever. Nahid worked with me and my family for a year to help plan the perfect Indian wedding weekend. She held my hand (and my moms!) as we found all of our vendors, gave candid advice, and helped me choose the right people who fit our needs. Because of her I had some amazing baklava at my wedding! She was a pleasure to work with. HOWEVER, the best part was the actual wedding weekend. I hardly had to worry about anything with Nahid there. She took care of everything and I had a wonderful time. I was never stressed, upset, or sad about the décor, food, vendors, etc since she took care of it. She even went out of her way to coordinate with my brother so if she did even need anything, she did not bother me or my husband. I loved her for that and would love to work with her again.
