  Amazing Photographer for our 2 day Wedding & Great Gatsby Event

  Mark Nakamura captured 2 days of our wedding events. We had a Great Gatsby Party on Friday & Our Pre-Wedding day getting ready, Ceremony on the Cliff, and our reception. We had some very personal pictures honoring our loved ones that we wanted to take after our ceremony. Mark helped direct us, gave amazing guidance and captured every moment beautifully.
  After my first conversation with Mark I was blown away, he was so kind, honest, upfront, told me that I didn’t need a larger package and just the type of person and energy we wanted at our 2 days of bliss.
  Mark helped us so much during both events and on the wedding day even gifted us some printed photos that immediately too my anxiety away with his kindness.
  Lastly, Our entire family couldn’t stop talking about how kind, sweet, knowledgeable Mark is. Thank you Mark for not only having our photos available to us to view so quickly but creating multiple slideshows for us that we could share with our family and friends. Mark without you we would have been stressed, and wouldn’t have gotten to take some of the most precious photos that meant the world to us. 100 stars For Mark for any photos, events or business related pictures!   Mark photographed our wedding day at the Ventana Grill in Pismo. Mark was awesome! He took the time to find out what we were looking for, made recommendations and did an amazing job. He took us down the street to a beach since we wanted some pre-ceremony photos on the beach. He did a great job of keeping things moving quickly, which we really appreciated. He moved quick, and the photos came out fantastic! We were in a hurry to get to our cocktail our to be with our guests from out of town, and Mark made this happen, without feeling like we missed any photo opportunities. I was so impressed when I got the digital files of our pictures and saw the slideshow/video Mark put together. These will make some amazing additions to the walls in our home, and Mark captured our special day perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

  Mark was a pleasure to work with and his photos were stunning. He was quick and professional and seemed to capture every moment. He also provided nice video slideshows of the ceremony and reception that we could quickly share with friends and family within a day or two of the wedding!

  Mark did an excellent job photographing our outdoor wedding- he is very easy to work with and has a nice, calming presence. My husband and I both come from divorced families and Mark did a great job shuffling around people and making sure all combinations of family were photographed without making things feel awkward or rushed. Our photos came out wonderfully- Mark seemed to capture every moment throughout the day! He also provided us with a beautiful book of large photos, which was a lovely keepsake.

  My husband and I were married July 5th and Mark was our photographer. The absolute best part of hiring him was the quick turn around on receiving our pictures. Both our engagement and wedding pictures were complete within a week of the event.
  
  The quality of the work is absolutely stunning! He edited when needed and offered pictures in black and white as well as color. He took so many pictures I had so many to choose from for both our engagement and wedding pictures. I feel like every part of the wedding day was captured in photographs. There was nothing that was missed.
  
  Mark is so personable, he asked everyone's name in the bridal party and actually remembered them. It was so nice to hear names called out instead of hey you. I was very impressed with his ability to memorize everyone's name. Especially because we had a bridal party of 20.

  We picked Mark Nakamura to photograph our wedding because our venue, Avila Beach Golf Resort, recommended him and he did many of the photographs there. We are so happy we went with Mark. He was great the day of our wedding, getting all the shots we wanted. When my husband and I took our photos after the ceremony he was very quick and efficient so we could get to the party! He gave direction well and was very easy to talk to. He was also very unobtrusive. He got a ton of great shots but you didn't feel like a photographer was breathing down your neck. Before our photos were ready he sent us a video of some of the shots and it was a great little added bonus to tide us over. When I told people we got our pictures less than two weeks after our wedding they were shocked, so quick! Highly recommend Mark, great photos and a great value!

He was very friendly with us, wedding party, and our friends and family. He was very patient and was not too assertive. I would highly recommend Mark for any event. His pictures were crisp and clean with vivid colors. My wife and I was very pleased with work.

  I didn't have the opportunity to meet Mark until the day of my daughters Wedding. Mark arrived on schedule early in the day to capture the dressing festivities and stayed until the very end of the night. During his many hours with us he was constantly moving capturing all kinds of journalistic natural shots as well as the posed ones. His work exceeded my expectations and he forwarded us over 1000 stunning pictures within a few days of the wedding. I've been in the wedding business for 13 years from a different region and hadn't heard of him but was completely thrilled with the results!

  Mark was an amazing photographer - he was snapping photos constantly, he caught every moment with multiple angles and lighting. e was also super prompt with the digital copies - several days earlier than he had estimated. All our family members and friends were super impressed with his work.

He took over 1,200 photos and caught wonderful, candid as well as posed shots. He knew exactly what to shoot, when, and with what camera. He was always watching for opportunities to catch special moments between the bride/groom, family and friends. He had a couple of these huge cameras slung around his shoulder and was snapping like a crazy person. The photes were not even close to what we expected - they far exceeded our expectations. All the shots were large, high quality so we could blow them up really high without loss of definition. He put together a slide show and we got DVDs of all the photos. I cannot recommend him enough. If you want your wedding photographed by an artistic, dedicated and personable photographer - call Mark. He is also quite reasonable in prices.

  Mark did an excellent job capturing the precious moments of our wedding day! He was willing to travel to the beach to take extra photos aside from the wedding location and reception. He was very professional and kind! I'm glad we chose him as our photographer!

  Mark has been a Family Friend of ours for years, and I was honored to have him be a part of our Wedding Day in Capturing some of those most precious moments in time. I would not have asked for anyone else. He was very professional and caught all the moments that I wanted as well as ones that he thought beautiful too. He also was very calming too...I guess that would be a big plus in a Photographer for the Bride because we all know how hectic planning a Wedding can be, and when you have someone around that can relieve some of your worries on that Big Day is always helpful!! I could not be more happy with my results, and if you want Quality pictures in a Professional, Friendly manner Mark is that Photographer!!

  Mark is so down to earth and very fun loving. When we booked Mark Nakamura for our wedding, we got a heck of a deal for him to take our engagement pictures. He took us up to Terrace Hill in San Luis Obispo and the engagement pictures came out beautiful! He took amazing pictures and he was willing to take pictures with poses that my husband and I had kind of made up.
  
  The day of the wedding, he arrived early to scout out the hotel area. It was great. Additionally, he was very nonintrusive, which made me really happy. I didn’t even know he was there, the majority of the time.
  
  A week after the wedding, my pictures were ready for pick up. This was truly a pleasant surprise, as I thought it was going to take months. The great thing about working with Mark is that he not only takes the pictures, but he edits them as well, and you get to keep all of the pictures, to do with them as you wish. For our engagement pictures, I took our favorite picture and got it put on a canvas at Costco and used it at the wedding. I plan on doing the same thing with my favorite wedding picture.
  
  Mark is great and he is reasonably priced!

  Mark was such an awesome photographer, with a great, funny, personality. He seemed very quiet when we talked on the phone prior to the wedding, but I was so comfortable with him as soon as I met him, I recommend him to anyone and everyone!
  
  Mark was so much fun to be around. I we were sad to see him leave when he was done with our photos. He did an amazing job and took so many pictures for us! By the time we got back from our honeymoon, we already had the dvd of photos from him!

  Mark Nakamura did a beautiful job photographing our wedding, from the posed family shots to the precious candid moments. He was a calm force in a whirlwind of activity. We loved being able to share the web video of our wedding photos with our friends and family before we even returned from the honeymoon! Mark Nakamura is a master in his craft. Highly recommend him.
