We are incredibly happy we had Nancy as the photographer for our garden wedding. In the initial planning meetings she was receptive to the particular things & people that we wanted photographs of, as well as the general style / balance of photos between staged and candid shots. We have a very large family with numerous group photos that we wanted to be taken, and Nancy did a superb job of organising these on the day and getting through as many as humanly possible within our wedding day schedule and without any compromise on quality.
Nancy only took a few weeks to create & send us the final online photo album for all our guests to view, and we (and our guests) are delighted with them! The only constructive point we could give is that it would have been even better to have candid photos of our guests and less of ourselves, but we could have also specified that in advance (E.g. during the dancing part of the evening). We don’t think it would be possible for one person to do a better job than Nancy, so would not hesitate to recommend anyone get in touch with her about photographing their wedding! -
Christy Sent on 11/05/2017Nancy Gould did the photography for my wedding last September and she was FANTASTIC. She was great leading up to the wedding, the day of, and responsive and through after the wedding. We absolutely LOVE our photos and have gotten so many compliments from friends and family. She comes highly recommended if you are looking for a way to perfectly capture your wedding day.

User2321394 Sent on 09/17/2015Nancy Gould is truly the best!!!! She is so talented and captures everything! She did both mine and my sister's wedding, we would recommend her to anyone we know. She captures every little detail at the wedding, formal photos as well as unbelievable candid moments. The photos come out great and she couldn't be easier to work with!!! We would hire her again in a second. She is professional and organized and puts you at ease the day of your wedding. She doesn't miss a photo opportunity, and captures the entire day and night for you and your family! We love her work and highly recommend her!Nancy Gould Photography's reply:

User1419149 Sent on 11/03/2013Nancy is the BEST wedding photographer, period. She captured our entire wedding day perfectly! She’s not only a great photographer, but is SO fun to work with - she’s definitely someone you’ll enjoy having at your wedding. Our contract called for a second shooter, and Nancy’s assistant photographer Kelly was excellent - they made a great team! They were very aware of time during formal photos, and had a great routine and great pacing - this was particularly nice because we were done in time to make it to our cocktail hour. At our reception, both Nancy and Kelly did an amazing job of blending into the background - we didn’t even notice that they were right there on the dance floor all night!
Our photos were on her blog within days of returning from our honeymoon-- and they were better than we could have ever imagined. There is no way we could try to pick out favorites... we love them all! She captured moments when we didn’t even know she was right there - which is really amazing. Our guests have already commented on our perfect our photos have come out. Also, definitely consider getting her photo booth - it was a huge hit at our wedding. Nancy puts all the photo booth pictures on Facebook only a few days after the wedding, and this was definitely a huge hit!

She was very flexible with our hectic schedule, so we were able to do all of our informational meetings on the phone and communicated mostly by email prior to the wedding. She was very helpful in terms of different suggestions for where to do photos, how to time the photos, and what photos we would want vs. which ones to skip (and she was totally right!). On the day of the wedding, she was very laidback and fun to work with. She brought another photographer with her so that we could capture both myself and my bridesmaids getting ready, as well as my husband and his groomsmen. We had an enormous bridal party and somehow she successfully got through all of the group photos in an hour and got us to our cocktail hour in time to get a group photo of all wedding guests (almost 300 people!) prior to the start of the reception. She somehow was able to be right in the middle of all of the action all day and night, without ever feeling like you saw a photographer or a flashbulb. It was amazing. She truly captured the essence of the day in her photos. My friends who viewed the online album all commented on how great our photos were. And I just picked up our album, which she created, and it is stunning. Her prices were also competitive with other local vendors. -

Coming to the Boston Area from so far away, we had be extra careful choosing our wedding vendors, because we didn't know any of them. Nancy Gould Photography did not disappoint! Nancy was fantastic. She was punctual and professional on our wedding day, and our photos/albums came out beautifully! Book Nancy Gould Photography early! You want to make sure they're not booked elsewhere on the day of your event. Thanks Nancy!!!

We knew many friends whose weddings Nancy had photographed in the past and because of their beautiful photos, we had high expectations. Nancy surpassed our expectations and we are so grateful for such wonderful memories from our big day. We look forward to having Nancy document more of our family's milestones in the future--she will always be our go-to photographer!

Her photo's were absolutely incredible and I will forever cherish her work and the way she captured our big day. Our album is currently our most prized possession. From first contact she was incredibly easy to work with and communication with her was effortless and timely. She even traveled all the way to CT to photograph our engagement photos in a freak fall snow/ice storm. She captured the exact look we wanted keeping everything natural and fun. She understood our vision and we were able to trust her and just let her lead the way and she more than exceeded our expectations. Not only is she extremely talented but she was so fun to work with and both my husband and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
