  Simply the Best!

  Michael is a superstar. Not only is his food delicious, he goes above and beyond to make your life easier. From ensuring there was food in our friend's home in the days before and after a big wedding, to making sure every detail big and small were just right, Michael thought about everything. He just gets it done and gets it right, and will make you laugh a ton in the process. Hire him!

  Perfect Lobster Rolls (and everything else) !

  On Island Chefs catered my goddaughter's wedding on Nantucket and it was flawless. I grew up in New England and summered on Cape Cod- and the mini lobster rolls were the best I've ever had. Everything I tasted was excellent and. beautifully presented. He made adorable mini fresh fruit parfaits to compliment the wedding cake -- amazing. Michael- the chef/owner- made everything seem seamless. There were so many moving parts - including indulging guests who kept asking for recipes. He even provided late night mini-sliders and cute little milk shakes. The bride's family was over the moon. I've never before written a review about someone else's caterer- but this guy was pretty awesome. Highly recommend.

  Best personal clam bake I have ever had!

  On Island Chefs made our stay on Nantucket so enjoyable! We reserved a clam bake for 17 people at our rental house, and the presentation was perfect. The food was fantastic, and the service was easy, reliable, and fun. I would 100% recommend!

  Exceptional Food and Service! A+++

  Michael Caffrey is simply the most talented and creative caterer on Nantucket-and we've tried them all. We have both vacationed and owned a home on the island for a total of 25 years. This year my daughter was married here. Michael did a number of events for us, from a mid-size elegant cocktail party to a brunch for 200. Everything was exquisite. The food was excellent and presentation beautiful. The experience was a pleasure- from the planning to the execution. My friends from New York and DC are still raving. In addition, he stocked our fridge with food and wine so we could enjoy a stress free week. Michael is direct and honest- enormous assets when you're planning a destination wedding. His staff was well trained and highly professional. We can't say enough about Michael, and recommend him without reservation.

  Wine Dinner

  Michael was very professional from the beginning. We were having a seven course wine dinner. He was very helpful with menu planning. He researched all the wines and did food pairings that were outstanding. The evening was a succcess.

  I’m from out of state and had a destination wedding on Nantucket. Michael worked with me via phone and email to plan the menu and was super helpful helping bringing my vision to life. The wedding was perfect, the food was amazing and guests are still talking about it months later. Michael truly made planning my big event effortless providing full bar and professional staffing. He even catered a few meals in our rental property that week that allowed us to have extra time having fun with our guests. I would very highly recommend them for any of your catering needs

  Unequivocal endorsement by me. Michael and his team (Chef Meghan, Olga & Hector) put on a spectacular cocktail party and dinner for a joint 50th birthday party at a house we rented on Nantucket. Everything was done on time, on budget with really great service throughout (including clean up!). Less than 5 stars on "value" only because he, like every one of his on-island comptetitors, charges "Nantucket" prices.

  Summer wedding

  My partner and I had a great wedding in Nantucket in mid-July and it was smashing success. Michael has many years of experience and it shows. Everyone was thrilled with the day. We were especially worried about leftover food as there were a number of last minute cancellations but the food went FAST so it must have been good. Lots of great memories of the day and these pros will make possible.
