  Beautiful photos

  I originally booked Nate last summer after I got engaged. My husband and I did our engagement shoot that Fall and the pictures were great! Some of the poses (on me personally) weren't very flattering, but a lot of our other photos were beautiful! He worked with me all the way up to my wedding and went above and beyond to capture all of the important parts of our wedding day. Great price, great quality, and easy to work with. We can't wait to get our wedding photos back!! Thank you Nate for all that you've done for us!!

  Amazing photographer!!!!!!

  Nate is the absolute best!!! He was our photographer for our engagement pictures and wedding and we definitely will use him in the future for any photo needs! Not only is he beyond talented and creative, but he is also extremely easy-going, fun to work with, and he made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. His photos are absolutely stunning!!! He surprised us with sneak peeks the day after our wedding and turned around our final edited full set of photos about a month later and we are blown away by how incredible they all are! His attention to detail and artistic eye is so evident in every single photo!
  We can’t thank Nate enough for the amazing memories he captured and we HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for an incredible photographer!

  Professional, Flexible, Affordable, and Artistic

  We hired Nate Heckenberger to capture our wedding earlier this year. I liked the artistic shots on his instagram and could tell he knew when to use depth, how to capture in a photojournalistic style, and where to find the unique shots that could make a wedding album. He did not dissapoint!
  
  We couldn't be happier with the incredible photos he delivered from our wedding. It rained half the day and you wouldn't know it from the photos. He captured the best, fleeting moments - even if they were just seconds long. I don't know how Nate and his second shooter were always where the best shot was about to happen, but they were.
  
  I can't recommend Nate enough. He could charge 50% more and still be a bargain!

  Captured our day perfectly

  Nate was one of the first vendors I hired for our wedding, originally scheduled for September 2020. I was really impressed by his portfolio which highlights his ability to capture great "action" shots - we wanted our wedding to feel like a big party, so this was important to us. From the get-go, Nate's professionalism and communication were on point. When COVID pushed our plans out by a year, he was flexible and accommodating in booking an alternate date. When the day finally arrived, Nate and his second photographer were prompt, professional, and easy to work with. We confided in him that we were planning to make a big announcement at our reception, and they captured the crowd reaction perfectly! Altogether they captured every moment of our day, from getting ready through the end of the night, and we couldn't be happier with the result. Nate has the essential ability of a wedding photographer to blend into the background so that guests don't even know they're being photographed in their most joyous, uninhibited moments. Can't say enough about the quality and quantity of the photos, as well as the professionalism. Don't hesitate to book Nate!

  Best Photographer

  Nate was the perfect photographer for our wedding on October 3, at Brandywine Manor House. He was extremely easy to work with. He was very efficient with the pre-ceremony pictures and we know he captured some great party pictures as well. We would recommend him to anyone who needs a photographer

  Wonderful person and amazing photographer!

  We found Nate and all his great work from following our venue online and prior weddings he had taken part in there...needless to say we are so glad we found him! He went above and beyond from the beginning! He was willing to go way out of his way for us to go to a cool new spot for our engagement session and stayed well beyond the allotted time to help get to know us better and get some awesome shots at sunset! He does an excellent job bringing the beauty of outdoors and people into each picture. Then when COVID hit he was more than willing to switch wedding dates with us even if it meant taking away from time on his holiday vacation (July 4th, 2020). Again, he went above and beyond and came early to the venue and stayed till the very end approx 11 hours (even after we talked about a 9 hour time frame) just to capture moments with my bridesmaids and of course sparklers to end the night! He is a great person and great at what he does! Highly recommend him and looking forward to using him again in the future for all our adventures ahead!

  Nate is the absolute best. If you’re looking for unique, beautiful photos, hire Nate!! We hired him for our wedding, after seeing my cousin and best friend use Nate as well. Their photos ad now our photos, are absolutely incredible and SO stunning. On top of that, Nate is so personable and fun. He was down to take photos wherever and had some great ideas for amazing shots. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

  Nate did an awesome job at our wedding on 9/21/19. He is amazing at what he does, low key, and listens to everything you want for that day. I would definitely recommend booking him for your wedding! You won’t regret it. He’s amazing!!!

  Fantastic!

  Nate did a fantastic job for our wedding! He's laid-back, easy to work with, affordable, and most importantly- an artist. We're gotten a ridiculous number of compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. We both were nervous about being photographed/being on the spot, but Nate made us feel comfortable and we ended up having fun with it. His photos are phenomenal, and made our wedding look like a fairy-tale. To me, the photographer was the most important choice of the wedding, since you keep those photos forever, and I couldn't be happier that we picked Nate. Highly highly recommend.

Not only does he take stunning artistic and posed photos, but his candid photos are amazing and some of our favorites from our wedding. He's also extremely laidback and makes the entire process fun.   Nate was amazing to work with! My husband and I felt very comfortable working with him. My guests absolutely loved him! All the photos were amazing and he took some really creative shots of our wedding party, the reception, and us. I will be using him for any event where I need pictures and highly recommended him.

  Nate was wonderful to work with. He was so accommodating with our requests, and was even willing to get a little wet to get the prefect shot. Nate was fun and creative helping capture great photos of our special day that we are able to cherish forever.

  I found Nate simply via Google searching and I certainly lucked out!! Nate is an incredible photographer and creative genius! We were beyond thrilled with how our wedding vision unfolded and Nate's talent, skill, patience and awesomeness was the truest reason for that! He was so easy to work with, great with all the kids we had part of our wedding party and was on top of everything, jumping right into the craziness of the day!! Our final photos not only blew us away with the editing, but they came so quick and were so easy to work with!

  Nate was the first and only photographer we met with. We loved the photos we saw on WeddingWire and were so thrilled after our first meeting with him that we booked him immediately! We're so glad we did! He was great to work with and was so flexibe with ideas and locations through both our engagement photos and our two day wedding! His pictures were so creative and really captured those special moments. Our previews from both the engagement and wedding were shared with us fairly quickly and the previews from the wedding are AMAZING! Nate had a wedding to shoot the same day we had our traditional wedding but came through and was able to photograph our traditonal wedding the morning of, went to photograph his next wedding and then photographed our wedding and reception the day after as well! Nate and his assistant were dressed professionally and was not obtrusive at all throughout the wedding! We're very thankful and truly are grateful for the memories he was able to capture of our wedding.Thank you so much Nate!

  Nate was referred to us through friends, and after doing some research and a quick chat, there was no need to continue our search. Nate has a natural eye for great shots and is very easy going. His photo package is extremely straight forward and was exactly what we wanted, a great photographer and rights to all of our photos. Other photographers charge you an arm and a leg for services and products you don't need, and then charge you for every photo. Nate made the process very easy, and he was by far our easiest vendor to work with.

The great thing about Nate was he was almost completely unseen during the wedding. I had no idea where he was taking pictures. This is such a plus for you and your guests to have a photographer that takes great shots but doesn't block the view from everyone else. He was so fast to give us a preview of pictures (about forty sample pictures only three days later!) and I received my photos about two weeks after the wedding. It was crazy fast and I was so pleased. I received so many compliments about the pictures. Thank you Nate!!!

  Our photos with Nate turned out absolutely incredible! He captured every moment at he perfect angle, got down on his hands and knees when needed to get the perfect shot too. He times out the sunset so my husband and I could get the perfect background, but didn't take us away from the reception any longer than needed too. We've had compliments that our sunset photos look like we are a professional painting! He always responded promptly too. Would highly recommend- especially for an outdoor wedding, as he knows what he's doing with regards to the sun, lighting, and skies!

  Nate Heckenberger and his assistant did a phenomenal job capturing our wedding. We are so happy we chose him and highly recommend him. He was very flexible and responsive to all my questions throughout the process. The value you get can't be beat, the quality of the photos is excellent and you get all the rights to the photos, which I loved. He came prepared to shoot our wedding in Stone Harbor and had ideas of where to go to photos but was also really receptive to any suggestions we had. We had a large wedding party- 22 bridesmaids/groomsmen and he was still able to get great group shots. Can't recommend Nate enough!

  Nate was great! Easy to work with -- listened to what we wanted (and didnt want!). The pictures turned out amazing - capturing the fun and love everyone felt that night. Would use him again and again and recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

  Nate was great to work with!! Flexible, very responsive, attentive. He took photos of whatever I wanted (and didn't take them if i wasn't into it), yet used his professional ideas and creativity shine through as well. I would recommend him to anyone -- our pictures turned out fantastic and i've only seen the preview so far!

  Nate was the best photographer we could have asked for. He made us all feel at ease. We knew we loved Nate from the beginning, but what really impressed us was not only when he was laying in a field of tall grasses to get a good shot, but when he showed up to our farm the day before the wedding to get an idea of what he would be working with. He is hardworking, talented, and kind. Nate, thank you for being a part of our wedding day - we are so glad you were there!

  Nate did my engagement photos as well as my wedding photos. He was recommended to us when my other choice was already booked so we were a bit skeptical at first. I went on his website and every looked lovely but his price seemed to be outside of my budget. We contacted him and realized that he was very wiling to work with our strict budget. We had a few must haves, including two photographers and a photo album, and he included all of it and made the price within our budget. The engagement and wedding photos are beautiful. We have had so many positive comments as well as one person asking for his information to possibly do their wedding. We received our photos for both events in a timely fashion. The only thing left for us to do is make our photo album. It's only not done because I haven't pick the photos for the album because there are too many good options. We can't say enough about Nate and his amazing work.
