Nate is Amazing
Nathan English is amazing! Most people will agree the one of the most significant expenditures of any big life event is the pictures. Pictures are a physical manifestation of the memories we make. To us, photography and finding the right photographer was one of the most important choices of planning our wedding. We had met with a few photographers, but since we were planning our wedding from across the country, it was hard to get the right “vibe”. Until we met Nathan English. From the moment we met Nate (via Zoom) we could feel his energy and we clicked, we knew we wanted to work with him, and after looking at his portfolio we were sold. Fast forward to the wedding day, Nate showed up early to scope out locations, and without ever having met him in person, I felt like I had known him for years. Nate blended into all the festivities like family, he made everyone he came across feel comfortable and relaxed, but most of all, his talent is so great that his photographs truly capture the feeling of the day. Nate will forever be remembered by our family not just because of the truly amazing talent he shared with us, but because he was also one of the most incredible people we have ever met. -

NATHAN ENGLISH is AMAZing! We hired him as our photographer and for videography.
If you're looking for "just a photographer", then he's not your dude! If you're looking for someone that just shows up on the day of with a fancy camera, then Nathan is not your dude.
Now...If you're looking for someone that is passionate for the art of photography and videography, makes it a point to understand the couple well before the wedding, is 100% present on your day, then Nathan is your person. He is willing to play so many roles for you! (coordinator/time manager, the bride's right hand man, the groom's wedding interpretor, the bridal party's favorite person) He, with my wedding planner (love greyson events), created a foolproof schedule that had 2 plans depending on weather and tons of cushion to allow for anything. He was there from the start to end and sneaked us out for the most amazing sunset pictures at the lake. Again, we are so appreciative for him and his team for their confidence and expertise. We didn't give him a lot of requirements because we trusted him fully and knew he would capture us and the day perfectly. He did just that.....way beyond our expectations! So thankful! -
User2432073 Sent on 11/18/2015Nathan is hands down the best you could ask for in a photographer - he is calm, responsive, efficient and sincere. He is truly a jack of all wedding trades as he even captured video footage of our cake cutting that our contracted videographer did not! I knew after our engagement session that we had made the correct decision with Nathan photographing our wedding - he was one of the absolute best parts of our day, and his assistant James totally nailed it, too. Both are just incredible individuals!!
My entire family and so many of my friends have inquired about his services since seeing his blog posting - we wish Nathan could capture every event for us from here on out!! You just CANNOT go wrong with Nathan English Photography. -

Not only was he the most affordable photographer for the style we were looking for, but he was also willing to travel to our destination in Michigan without an additional fee. But his worth goes far beyond monetary measures. From the moment Nathan arrive the morning of our wedding, I felt instantly comfortable around him. He was flexible, complementary, enthusiastic and so FUNNY! Our friends and family could not stop raving about how great he was! Nathan also took the time to stake out great photo ops, without pulling us from our guests for very long at all. Before even seeing our pictures I already knew that Nathan was the best investment we made for our wedding, but once we received the pictures I am beyond pleased and feel so grateful to him for capturing our day so perfectly. I would 100% recommend Nathan for anyone looking to truly capture the magic of their wedding day. -
User1677447 Sent on 06/24/2014Words honestly cannot express how amazing Nathan English is. He truly is the best. The pictures were more than I ever dreamed of. They looked like they were straight out of a magazine! He did an excellent job scoping out places at my venue to take amazing photos with beautiful backdrops. One of the things I loved the most is at the reception he set up a big computer screen showing shots he had taken throughout the day. Everyone loved seeing the pictures of us getting ready and everything else they weren't able to see earlier. The ability to view some of the photos this quickly was amazing. Not only were the photos out of this world but he went above and beyond the entire day! He helped organize and smooth out situations when they got a little "hairy". He took the guys flowers to them and kept everyone on schedule. He was enjoyable to be around, so easy to talk to and felt like an old friend in no time. There wasn't one person he didn't get along with at the wedding.
I would highly recommend using him as your photographer! I am certain you cannot find anyone better :) -

From our first conversation at the bridal show to our final email, Nathan has been very helpful, kind, and enthusiastic. He always answered all of my questions and kept me informed so I didn't have to worry about our wedding day photos/photographer. I am very thankful for that because Nathan made sure it was a stress free experience for me. On our wedding day, Nathan spent the whole day at the country club. He spent hours taking pictures before, during, and after the ceremony/reception. My dad appreciated Nathan and his ability to capture all the beautiful moments without anyone even knowing he was there. Nathan didn't get in the way, but when he did interact with our family and/or guests they loved him. Some of our guests felt like he was one of our family members. We received so many compliments on our photographer and our wedding photos. My mother-in-law said she was hesitant to let herself get too excited about the pictures because she didn't want to be disappointed. She said Nathan exceeded her expectations, and she is thrilled with his photos. Nathan is a brilliant photographer who is very patient, joyful, and creative. I can't stop staring at my pictures, and I am so blessed to have had Nathan be a part of our special day. I honestly feel like I'm at my wedding all over again when I look at Nathan's photos. He did an amazing job of capturing the emotions, excitement, and beauty that was present on our wedding day! Thank you, Nathan! -

Our photos turned out beautifully and we can't wait to work with him in the future for family portraits, etc.
