  Incredible DJ

  We couldn’t have asked for more from our DJ. Nathaniel executed exactly what we envisioned, and kept our guests on the dance floor up until the very last minute. I could not recommend his services more!

  Helped the day run so smoothly!

  Nathaniel has reasonable rates for the services he provides, and so much experience under his belt - he was definitely a major factor in our wedding running as smoothly as it did, especially since I didn't have a planner and it was my day-of-coordinator's first job. He always shows up with an assistant and that was so helpful when we were trying to get people lined up for the processional, cue people down the aisle, wrangle people for first dances, etc. ...He also provided dance floor lighting and while setting up realized that I had not been prepared to light our outdoor dinner tent - he pointed out how necessary that would be and got additional lighting set up for us in a pinch. His DJ skills meant that any song we wanted cut to specific parts had that done seamlessly, he vamped certain songs to make sure the chorus came in just at the right moment, and one song flowed into the next seamlessly during dance party time. Lots of fun and great to work with!

  Incredible DJ & Musician

  Nathaniel was a totally wonderful addition to our wedding day and was incredibly helpful leading up to it! The acoustic ceremony music he played was simply beautiful, as it was for the cocktail hour. Then, for the reception, the dance floor was live the whole night and everyone raved about how good the music was! His flexibility, positive attitude and energy really made such a difference on our wedding day and we cannot express our appreciation for his expertise enough!
  It was such a pleasure to work with him, from our first conversation to a more detailed meeting to the wedding day itself! Our wedding would not have been the same without the presence and expertise of NDavis Music!

  An Excellent Musician and DJ

  Nathaniel Davis was an phenomenal musician and DJ for our wedding. During our planning meeting, he asked us very thoughtful questions and was a great listener - he really cared about hitting the right tone and making the event meaningful and fun for us. He performed live music during our cocktail hour and was a big hit. He was also an excellent DJ and MC - he (and his assistant) got guests of all ages out on the dance floor, and kept the party going. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

  Talented, Professional, and FUN!

  Nathaniel put on not one but two perfect wedding days for us and we couldn't be more grateful. We originally booked him before COVID was even a thought in our minds and when we ended up having to drastically change our plans, he was there every step of the way. He traveled 3 hours away to do our wedding ceremony in my grandparents backyard-which was perfect despite the extreme heat/humidity that VA often delivers in July and then 1 year later put on the party we had originally planned for 2020. Throughout he was professional, communicative, and kind. He does all the things you'd expect from a DJ and more, keeping timelines running smoothly, paying attention to little details often overlooked, and he's an incredible talented musician as well. It was all that we could have imagined and more! THANK YOU!

  Music was a critically important element in creating our magical wedding weekend. Our Friday rehearsal dinner was to set the festive, celebratory tone for all our guests, and we searched and searched for the 'right' band who could help us deliver. From the first time we heard Nathaniel's original solo and band recordings on his website to seeing the band perform live in a local bar, we knew this was the band for us. While rainy weather forced the event from an envisioned evening under the stars to indoors, the band was gracious and flexible performing on the staircase landing. Quite a vantage point to observe and 'read' the crowd throughout the evening that included a fantastic cover of Pure Prairie League's 'Amie' that had nearly everyone up on their feet and moving. It was a beautiful sight to observe.
  
  Another beautiful moment that captures the professionalism and capabilities of this fantastic band... The band learned a special song for the occasion - a perfect fit for their version of folk/rock/Americana - and performed it beautifully. As my fiance and I danced, I was overwhelmed in surveying the room and taking in all the pure love and fun being expressed by old friends and new acquaintances. It was exactly what my fiance and I had envisioned - a heart-felt, festive, memorable evening. The band's contributions certainly helped make this possible. Thank you, thank you Nathaniel, Jeff, Saleh, and Lydia!
