My wife and I were struggling with finding a way to access premarital counseling that wasn't Christian and was queer friendly. We had almost given up after doing some initial consults with counselors but then my wife found Tirzah. Tirzah met my wife and I where we were at in our relationship and gave us the tools to move our relationship forward. She didn't shame either of us for how we each viewed an issue or conflict, rather she validated both points of view and assisted us with viewing things from each other's point of view. We learned skills that we use often to repair conflict, communicate more efficiently, and to make sure we are both working to maintain and grow the relationship. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any couple that is interfaith, and not heterosexual passing and I know we will be quick to book maintenance sessions with her as well. -

Tirzah was an incredible officiant, and she helped us craft a unique and personal ceremony that had us (and many of our guests) crying tears of joy. I appreciated that she had thorough questions to guide us through the ceremony creation process, that she met with us multiple times in person and over Zoom in the months leading up to the big day, and that she even spoke with both of our sisters to add extra special touches to the ceremony. We would absolutely recommend working with her! -

Tirzah is truly a one of a kind rockstar when it comes to wedding counseling. When we began our search for a wedding counselor, we were feeling flustered with our wedding planning process. As a queer couple it was incredibly important to us that we have a wedding that was representative of us as couple, this led to a unique and very personal approach that felt very stressful at times. When we met with Tirzah, she quickly assessed the situation with both empathy and compassion. We then decided to book 4 sessions to move forward with the process. Each session we were able to tackle emotionally activating conversations in an affirming and safe place to process and make decisions that felt aligned with our most authentic selves. Throughout these sessions, Tirzah went above and beyond in providing insightful questions, personal experiences and comforting reassurance. We truly felt like we came out of this journey stronger both as a couple and as intentional planners of our big day. We will forever be thankful for the meaningful lessons and conversations we had guided by Tirzah. We highly recommend Tirzah to anyone who is looking to deepen and broaden their wedding planning journey and relationship with each other. -

We used Tirzah's services for premarital coaching and officiating, and it was no question the BEST purchase we made for our wedding. She is so fun and wonderful to spend that kind of time with, but she also helped us gain additional insight into our relationship and calm down some pre-wedding jitters by providing a viewpoint into our relationship from a neutral third party. Our ceremony was absolutely magical as well--she really blew us away with the quality of her writing for the script and her general amount of preparation and thoughtfulness in the process. We will be loudly recommending Tirzah to absolutely anyone who needs her services for YEARS to come. -

10/10 Would Recommend!
Some key things that really stood out for us were the attention to detail, excellent communication, and support throughout the planning process. It was really such a special thing to have Tirzah delve into what makes us tick as a couple and convey our love through a beautiful intimate ceremony. I think back on our wedding day so often and out of all of the vendors that we hired there is not a single one that met the standard that Tirzah set. We cried during every planning session because she brought up raw emotion in the questions that she asks to help us reflect on what it is about each other that made us want to get married. As a gay couple we knew we wanted someone that could truly appreciate the significance of our marriage and what it meant to us as a marginalized group who would not have been able to get married just a few years back. Tirzah went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with all of the wording of the ceremony and made sure it would convey a message of love acceptance, tolerance, and kindness. We also chose to include a handfasting ceremony as a symbol of our commitment to each other and the bond that we share. Tirzah made sure everything went smoothly and included us every step of the way while offering her own insight. Overall, it was exactly what we had envisioned, and I can’t imagine that special day being the same if it were not for her. Tirzah, we cannot thank you enough for your hard work or for the kindness and love that you spread. Once again, LOVE WINS! -

If you are looking for a thoughtful, empathetic, and empowering wedding officiant and coach, Tirzah is your person! From start to finish, Tirzah brought so much joy, love, and understanding to our wedding process. She consistently ensured that we felt supported and that the ceremony would be uniquely our own. She empowered us to make decisions for ourselves, guided us when we needed wisdom, and supported us when we felt overwhelmed. If you want an officiant who makes your ceremony personal to you and your partner Tirzah is the person you need! She was amazing from start to finish and made our ceremony so special. We met with her a few times told her our story, answered many questions and shared exactly what we wanted for our ceremony, in the end she did not disappoint, she put it all into a beautiful story she shared with our friends and family and didn’t leave anything out. We can't express how thankful we are that we chose NearlyWed. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Tirzah as our officiant. She went FAR above and beyond to make our day special and customize the entire ceremony to be exactly what we had hoped for. She took time to meet with us (via Zoom) and got to know us as a couple and our love story. Getting to actually meet her in person the day of our ceremony felt like we were seeing a long time friend. The ceremony itself was written beautifully and really captured who we are as a couple. She is incredibly thoughtful, funny and very down to earth. My husband and I had a blast getting to know her and truly cherished her being a part of our very intimate and small ceremony. The Officiant I Had Been Searching For
We hired Nearly Wed Coaching for our micro wedding in June and are over the moon with the services Tirzah provided. We did a hand-fasting ceremony that was new to all of us, and she came through with a ceremony that blew us all away. Nearly every single wedding guest commented on how cool and unique it was. Nailed it!
But here’s the real deal….Tirzah is SO MUCH more than an awesome officiant. Her wedding coaching services and pre-marital counseling is where she really shines. We did both services. Her professional skills and organization combined with her highly empathetic nature were a breath of fresh air.
We were dealing with some wedding related family drama (who doesn’t?) and received excellent advice and guidance from Tirzah. She cuts through the bull with her sword of truth in a gentle yet effective way. My husband and I felt stronger and more connected than ever after every session. If you’re serious about starting your marriage off on the right foot, I HIGHLY recommend you get the pre-marital counseling and wedding coaching packages. It will pay for itself over and over for years to come.

Tirzah was an absolutely incredible officiant! She was everything we could've asked for. She helped design a beautiful, short-and-sweet ceremony that was incredibly personalized, a beautiful speech at the beginning about our lives and love, involved a couple family members, and at the end we planted a tree together! I couldn't have asked for a more meaningful ceremony and I can't recommend her highly enough. -

My fiancé and I made a last minute decision to elope in beautiful Colorado. We felt like trying to find someone that is excepting of our sexuality was going to be hard, until we found Tirzah! We first contacted her seriously 2 to 3 weeks before our wedding date. We thought it was going to be hard to piece everything together in such short notice but Tirzah made it so so easy and helped us every step of the way.
