  After viewing and meeting with many different photographers, I am so happy that we decided to go with Nelson Photography. Not only were the prices reasonable but the quality of the photos were outstanding. Carl worked with us in every way possible to meet our needs and got some amazing shots!! ...even out of my camera shy husband. His talent and ability to capture a moment exceeded our expectations..our house is literallly decorated with mostly wedding photos! If you chose Nelson Photography to photograph your wedding, you will NOT be disappointed!

  After interviewing several photographers, my husband and I chose to work with Carl Nelson of Nelson Photography, and we are so glad that we did! He was such a pleasure to work with every step of the way and I am thrilled with the pictures he took! I’ve had so many people say how much they love the pictures as well.
  
  He did our engagement pictures and helped us get used to him and to having our pictures taken, and the results were fantastic.   He did our engagement pictures and helped us get used to him and to having our pictures taken, and the results were fantastic. I'm so pleased with the both our engagement and our wedding pictures - so many beautiful shots, both posed formals and candids, to remember our special day. The hardest part was narrowing them down and choosing which ones to purchase and include in the Art Book.
  
  Carl is down to earth and easy going and managed to take so many wonderful pictures with very little interference. He got all of our formal shots done quickly and had everyone looking great. He helped me, my husband, and our families and friends relax and focus on enjoying the day.
  
  He was always responsive and easy to get in touch with, and he was responsive to our requests and wishes as well. There were a couple different shots I requested on the day of the wedding, and he was glad to do them and enthusiastic about them. If you want to photographer that will take beautiful pictures and who is incredibly pleasant to work with, I highly recommend Carl Nelson!

  Carl was very attentive to what my husband and I wanted for our photographs. He was very professional, courteous, and punctual. His prices are a bit steep, but the quality of the pictures is fantastic.

  I wasn't that satisfied with Nelson photography. In the beggining I told him I didn't want to waste most of my time after the ceremony with family shots. Most of my guests had to leave early and I wanted to socialize with them. I wanted mostly pictures of just me and my husband and I would get to the family and wedding party shots after the reception. He ignored this request and I didn't get to visit with most of my guest. And I have too many unnessacary pictures of family and wedding party pics that I did not want. He took several pics of just the groom and his stepfather. Most of them shaking hands and nonsense that we knew was a lie. NOT VERY GOOD AT LISTENING TO REQUESTS! I also wasn't too happy with some of the poses he picked out. I had to request most them and those are the ones I value most. Lastly my parents felt cheated with the package they had ordered. They order a very beautiful album with about 30 pictures of my choice and a cd of the proofs. As a gift I to my mother I had planned on taking a picture of us on my wedding day that I had picked for the album and have it enlarged and framed. He failed to mention that he would GLUE the pictures to the album and that the cd of proofs would be copyrighted making it impossible to give this gift to my mother. After many phone calls and complaints from my dad he agreed to give a uncopyrighted version of the CD and a discounted rate.
