  Hire Matt and NEC — you won't regret it.

  We can not recommend NEC enough! Though we knew we wanted a photographer (as is traditional), we were undecided about a videographer until meeting Matt – at which point we knew we had to incorporate videography in our wedding day. We found NEC through the recommendation of our wedding planner, and after watching some sample footage from NEC’s Instagram and website, we were blown away. It wasn’t just the NEC portfolio that impressed us, though. Matt’s rigorous attention to detail and commitment to balancing our creative/artistic vision with his own sets him apart.
  
  We met Matt early in the wedding planning process via a Zoom call. He took time to understand our personalities as individuals, first, and then our identity as a couple preparing to get married. He asked us questions about our artistic style – but also our favorite music, our favorite foods, and what we did for fun. (Mind you, we hadn’t actually booked Matt yet.) We appreciated his level of attentiveness, though, because it made us confident that whatever footage/final product he produced from our wedding day would center our experience and creative/romantic vision of the day). Fast-forward 18 months when Matt was beginning the editing process, and though we had chatted on several occasions about an artistic direction for our wedding video, he emailed us some notes he’d written down during our initial call with the early thoughts we had shared about things we wanted prioritized/not prioritized in the video. He asked us if this was still how we felt, now that the wedding was over. This was like a chef coming to your table to ask about your meal, and if he can get you anything – again, this sets Matt apart. In fact, there were some important things we wanted to change from those initial thoughts because our perspective had changed. That attention to detail is baller.
  
  As for the wedding day itself: Matt (and his second shooter, Dan) were professional, energetic, and operated mostly behind-the-scenes, as we’d hoped. We didn’t want to hear the whirring of drones as we delivered our vows. We didn’t want the photographers/videographers tripping over each other. Matt assured us neither of those things would happen, and sure enough, they didn’t. One of the many things we love about Matt and NEC is the way they genuinely captured our day as it unfolded (not as tons of staging or doctoring could have made it seem.) We gave Matt a lot of artistic license and the video he delivered was very authentic to us. Of course, there were some moments where we stopped to get a certain shot, especially during the sunset hour, but the balance was terrific.
  
  Thank you, Matt. We will watch our wedding video on our anniversary for years to come.

  Best Videographers EVER

  Matt is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From the first meeting, to the big day he put us at ease and instantly felt like one of our friends we had known forever. This makes a huge difference when you are spending the most important day of your life with this person with you every step of the way. Besides his unbelievable work which speaks for itself (not a cookie cutter boring/cheesy wedding film in sight! Each video tells its own couples story) he is an absolute trooper! It was DOWNPOURING our entire wedding day. Some videographers would say "let's shoot inside" but not Matt. He trucked right out into the monsoon with us and got unbelievable movie quality footage of us frolicking. Not a complaint or a question- if we were game, so was he. Our guests commented that they were impressed with how quickly Matt was moving from one spot to the next (basically flying up stairwells at lighting speed) and I have had countless friends request his name once they saw our final work. AMAZING. I think pictures are great, but there is nothing like having a video of your special day.   Memories for a Lifetime

  The work that Matt does is something so rare and special to find. We were so honored to work with Matt at New England Creative for our videography at our October 2021 wedding. Matt was so warm, friendly and personable from the very start and guided us through the whole process until our wedding day. Our teaser film brought us to happy tears and we cannot wait to see the final product and to have these memories on video for a lifetime. Matt gives a final product that truly stays with you forever, and we are so very thankful that we had him on our team on our big day!

  Amazing!

  When my husband and I first started wedding planning, we had no intention of booking a videographer. Several months into planning, we decided to look into wedding videographers. Thank goodness we changed our minds and found New England Creative, we are SO lucky to have had Matt capture our wedding day. Matt not only created an amazing film, he was also amazing to work with and truly made me and my husband feel so comfortable. It is so obvious that Matt pours his heart into his work, he creates such unique stories for each couple. Our wedding film is more than we could have ever imagined, we are so incredibly thankful to have met Matt and have him at our wedding. Many of our friends and family were unable to attend our wedding due to COVID, but we are grateful they were able to get a glimpse into our day in such a special way. Our wedding was in October and we still receive compliments on how amazing our short film is. I cannot say it enough, New England Creative is truly one of a kind and we feel so fortunate that Matt was able to tell our story in such a beautiful way.

  Matt and the NEC team were truly amazing! From all the changes with the pandemic the team stuck by us from the venue of our dreams to our backyard. The video matches our personalities to a T and it feels like Matt has known us for years.   New England Creative did our wedding in September 2021 and we could not be happier! We have received so many compliments from friends and family on how amazing our video came out. I truly couldn’t agree more. Some guests didn’t even know we had a videographer! Matt and Dan somehow manage to capture all the best moments without you even feeling like you’re on film. Matt is kind, professional and truly wonderful to work with. New England Creative not only provided us with amazing footage but they helped the day run smoothly. I could not recommend them enough!   Best Videographer Out There

  We loved working with Matt for our wedding. He took the time to meet with us before the wedding to grab beers and just get to know each other (he doesn't live far from Treehouse Brewery... a great spot to meet up :). On wedding day, Matt was amazing, making sure we got all the video we needed without making us go out of our way. He created the most amazing film that captured the most important, memorable moments of our special day. We watch it at least once a month, and our parents were so grateful to have the video to remember the day. Several of our grandparents unfortunately couldn't make the wedding in person, but nothing made them happier than watching Matt's incredible video to feel like they were there. Don't skimp on videography, it is absolutely worth it and one of the most important reminders of our wedding day we will have for the rest of our lives.

  Amazing Videography

  I highly recommend New England Creative! Not only was Matt so easy to work with, but he is SO talented! We received so many compliments on our wedding teaser and video. We also loved our documentary edit, where we literally were able to relive our day. I was so happy with our decision to work with Matt, and couldn’t be more pleased with our videography!!

  COMPLETELY Worth the Investment

  When me and my husband (!!!) first got engaged, I knew there was only
  one thing I absolutely had to have for my wedding, and that was a videographer. I knew it would be an extra cost, but it was something I was willing to splurge on. Well... let me just say, it was COMPLETELY worth the investment! My husband and I could NOT be happier with our highlight film, and we have received sooooo many compliments from friends and family about how perfect our film is. Not only were Matt and his second shooter completely awesome day of the wedding, but they have given us something so special to relive our special day. We actually even ordered MORE footage because we couldn’t get enough! Matt is super awesome and I can promise you, if you decide to let New England Creative capture your day, you won’t be disappointed. THANK YOU, MATT! YOU ROCK!

On actual day of our wedding, he really went out of his way to capture the most important parts but did it in a way that felt seamless and fit into our day perfectly. With all the images he got, he created a video for us that is truly incredible. I have received so many compliments on the editing, the style, and just the overall emotion he was able to evoke in five minutes. It is such a special encapsulation of the best day of our lives. We have watched it so many times and even contacted him for more footage because it is really just that amazing.   Best Videographer EVER

  I'm having a heard time knowing where to begin this review because I want it to be just as perfect as the video Matt Garza produced for my husband and me. There is just no way I could even get close. His creative and cinematic approach to wedding videos is so incredibly beautiful. I am not the greatest at being in front of a camera without looking awkward or obvious yet somehow his direction and ability to capture the beauty of the raw and candid moments made us look like movie stars.
  Throughout the planning stages, I had read that it is important to find a videographer and photographer that have worked with one another before. So once I had found NEC, I asked Matt who he recommended as far as photographers go. He gave me several different amazing options. I ended up going with the gifted Rachel Black at Rowanberry Lavender Photography.
  These two talents worked so well with one another. It was like a well oiled machine. I felt so confident that Matt, Rachel (and Sarah! the extra photographer), were going to capture our wedding day perfectly. They all somehow melted into the background yet captured every important "big" moment AND the small details. Family and friends (even the distant friends.. you know the ones who are your FB friend but are from childhood and you haven't spoke to in years?) all told us how exquisite our video was.. even to the point of tears!
  Matt was always easy to reach and very prompt with his replies. He has several different packages and options to fit alls kinds of budgets. He isn't shy about thinking and working "outside of the box." His passion for videography is so evident, he is continually furthering his knowledge on the subject by traveling internationally to conferences. He came to us before the wedding with a super neat creative approach to our video... wanting to include some shots of us "in our element" at our home and such. We ended up declining the offer, however it was so cool to have someone try to expand on the creativeness of our video. Matt was always super respectful of our decisions and encompassed "us" entirely in our wedding video.
  Basically, if you are in search of a videographer, go with New England Creative. We HIGHLY recommend!!!

  My husband and I met Matt at another wedding! My husband was fully against the idea but I was pretty sure I wanted to have a videographer at our wedding. Matt was kind enough to give us his info and we went home. A few weeks later, Matt posted our friends video and I balled my eyes out. He captured the love and every emotion that was felt that day and I knew I needed to have him at our wedding. It didn't take my husband much convincing because his videos leave you speechless. Matt was easy to reach, kind, thoughtful, and gave me one less thing to worry about during the craziness.
  On our day, Matt worked with our photographer in perfect collaboration and with professionalism and care. I knew our video was going to be beautiful but let me tell you....when we plugged my laptop into the TV and watched it...it was like I was marrying my best friend all over again. What Matt gave my husband and I is priceless. The day goes by so fast but Matt gave us the chance to relieve it forever and ever. He creates true works of art and I wouldn't reccomend anyone else for your wedding day. Trust me when I say, if you have New Englad Creative as your videographer, you are blessed.

Matt was easy to reach, kind, thoughtful, and gave me one less thing to worry about during the craziness.
  On our day, Matt worked with our photographer in perfect collaboration and with professionalism and care. I knew our video was going to be beautiful but let me tell you....when we plugged my laptop into the TV and watched it...it was like I was marrying my best friend all over again. What Matt gave my husband and I is priceless. The day goes by so fast but Matt gave us the chance to relieve it forever and ever. He creates true works of art and I wouldn't reccomend anyone else for your wedding day. Trust me when I say, if you have New Englad Creative as your videographer, you are blessed.

  My fiance and I were lucky enough to be able to work with Matt at our engagement session. To most people that know me they consider me to be very outspoken and that I enjoy talking but to my fiance who really knows me, I am shy especially when it comes to my feelings.
  
  Matt was able to get me to open up about my feelings for my fiance in a way that I normally never would. My fiance who I thought would be shy was actually super comfortable and found the entire experience fun. (Yes a groom found an engagement session fun. LOL)
  
  Overall, I was wondering how it would all come together but when I saw the video I couldn't have been more pleased.
  
  The natural talent that Matt has for taking your story and turning it into something even more beautiful than it already is, is priceless.
  
  The memories captured in our engagement session video are so important to us that we have decided that we HAVE to have New England Creative video our entire wedding in October.

  My husband and I booked Matt from NEC to do our wedding as sort of a last minute vendor- we had been planning to use a few GoPros to capture our vows and toasts and DIY a video. However throughout wedding planning I kept seeing amazing videos of weddings and just thinking of how amazing it would be to be able to share a recap of the whole day with people who couldn't be there, and even future kids/grandkids. I worried about the logistics of our DIY plan- batteries dying or shaky picture. I saw one of Matt's videos pop up in a local wedding fb group and was immediately drawn in. I checked out his prices and thought they were definitely the most reasonable I'd seen considering he was clearly extremely talented. So I talked to my then-fiance and begged him to consider it and we booked Matt with about 2 months to go before our big day! The day of our wedding he was amazing. He was SO respectful of our photographers which was extremely important to me, they worked great together and he was very unobtrusive. A lot of people who don't get a professional video worry about bulky cameras or video ruining the photos shots and those were concerns of mine, too. It was great to see Matt really planned out the placement of his ceremony cameras so they were out of the way but still got amazing footage. The day after our wedding we left for our honeymoon and were tagged in some sneak peeks already!! It was so exciting to see some stills from our wedding only 24 hours later. Halfway through our honeymoon trip we got to watch our completed wedding video, totally amazed that Matt had already finished it. It was amazing and we have watched it about 5,000 times since. All our family and friends have raved to us about it and how it captured our day so well. I am so, so, so grateful that we decided to get a video. We will definitely treasure this video forever.

From the very beginning, he was very prompt in response to our emails and happy to answer my endless list of questions. We all forgot he was there most of the day! He was able to get some really incredible angles and I still have no idea how he managed some of them, he's that good! And finally, the highlight video itself! There are no words to express how happy we are with the video he put together for us. We love it and I've re-watched it many times since he sent it along. The video even moved one of my coworkers to tears! You can tell he really loves the artistic side of his trade and he does an amazing job at capturing the personalities of the people he's filming as well as all the small moments that make up the day.   It is hard to sum up in a review just how wonderful working with NEC is, especially when their beautiful work speaks so much for itself. We looked into working with Matt as a videographer for our wedding after seeing the amazing job he did on a friend’s wedding highlight video. We never met in person before the wedding, but communicated often via email & phone, and yet were still so comfortable working with him on our wedding day. Matt is so laid back, professional and just fun to be around! He was very proactive in communicating with us throughout the planning process, checking in often for details and updated information, which was so helpful as the day got closer and things got busy! Matt even helped myself as the bride put together and coordinate a few surprises for the groom! He was very respectful of the fact that we designated photography as the priority, and was very professional and communicative with our photographer, even though they had never met or worked together before. Our guests commented on how impressed they were that he was never in the way or intrusive, as well as all of the creative angles and shots he was filming. Matt was able to capture some really beautiful, intimate moments on our wedding day, and yet we never felt like he was infringing upon us - in fact, most times we didn’t even realize he was there! Definitely ninja status. Our overwhelming love and appreciation for the final product is difficult to put into words (see our reaction video!). Matt consistently throughout the wedding process went above and beyond requirements and expectations, and it shows in the beauty and quality of his work. We watch our video frequently, have greatly enjoyed sharing it with family & friends, and will treasure it for years to come. Matt just gets it.   I recently married the man of my dreams, and New England Creative caught it all on film for me! Unfortunately, it rained all day so the ceremony had to be moved inside as well as all the photos. I was a little upset, but I knew I was still going to get married and everything would work out. The day flew by and I forgot all the minor details I had been planning for over a year, but when I saw the video NEC made for me, the memories of the day came flooding back! Matt was able to capture all the important things that happened and was able to recreate the day for us in the most beautiful 5 minute video I have ever watched. This video will be played every year on our anniversary, I'll be able to show it to my children (when we have them) and be able to be shared with my family and friends. Even though everything had to be done indoors, NEC was able to remind me how beautiful the day was, rain or shine. Matt was great to work with. After hiring them to film our wedding, we received a questionnaire to gather information about us so he could create a video that was customized to our style and interests. On the day of the wedding, he and his assistant arrived on time and dressed for the occasion. There were hardly any moments when we were aware that they were filming us, which helped them capture our genuine emotions! We received our short film teaser clip within 72 hours of our wedding day and our short film 3 months later. Our wedding short film is spectacular.
