  Great experience

  We got there right when it opened and felt special right away! Our girl Eliza pulled my perfect dress and the experience was great. Great vibes from every employee, they seem to genuinely LOVE their jobs. I tried on so many and ended up getting one that I never would've picked to try on! Private rooms and my sister helped me change every time which was a special experience. They give you space but step in right away when you need help or advice.

  Finding the perfect dress

  We headed to NYB with several dresses in mind that we had been looking at for my daughter. When we walked in the staff was so very kind. They listened to my daughters' ideas, asked her questions then explained their store layout and their dresses encouraging her to try on several different styles, with no hurry. When my daughter walked back to the salon fitting rooms, she saw a dress that caught her attention. Her stylist Bailey was wonderful and removed that gown for her. It was perfect and she fell in love with it immediately. I want to thank Bailey for all her patience and help making the experience so special. Bailey even told us to try on several other gowns just to make sure this was the one, but it was obvious from my daughter reaction seeing herself in the 3-way mirrors and having Bailey place a headpiece and veil on that this was her dress. Thank you again Bailey, you were wonderful.

  Found my dream dress!

  My mom and I came to look at dresses for the first time back in April 2023! I was blown away by the amazing customer service at New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh, and was even more surprised that I found THE DRESS after only a few hours of trying things on! The alterations process also went very smoothly, and I am so grateful that this is a service NYBG offers in-house! We did have an issue with the veil I ordered - whether due to miscommunication or an error in ordering, I received the veil I wanted but in a shorter length! As soon as I noticed, NYBG wasted no time ordering me the longer veil I originally requested at no additional charge. I was so impressed by how they handled the situation and that they were able to order the correct veil in such a short time frame. Thank to NYBG Raleigh for helping me find my dream dress (and veil!). I felt so beautiful on my wedding day this past March and have you all to thank for it.

  Must Visit

  This was the best bridal shop I visited. I liked that appointments were not required, my guests and I could pull dresses, the 360 mirror area, and the private rooms. I hate that I did not catch the name of the consultants helping me, but they were the ultimate hype team and made me feel relaxed and confident.

  Dream Dress

  ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY WEDDING DRESS!! The staff at NY Bride and Groom were all very friendly, helpful, and really know how to hype a bride up! I bought my dress from them and had the best seamstress make my dress fit like a glove. Had the best bridal experience.

  No appointments and great service!

  Unlike the majority of brides, I procrastinated up until about 3 months before my wedding. When I learned of this place, and that they do not require appointments, I finally felt comfortable going to a more relaxed atmosphere. They were my first and last stop. The attendants were all so nice through the whole process. I did not have any one with me to help with my dress, but the attendant was so patient with me sending photos out instead. She even took a few for me, and offered her in person opinion. When I picked "the one", I found myself on the verge of tears. Not because of the dress, but because of how cared about I felt through the whole process.

  NY Bride & Groom of Raleigh were great. They helped me narrow down what I wanted in my dress, and were able to get it in relatively quickly despite the surge in weddings (mid 2021). I did my alterations with their alterations team and they came out really well. Alterations cost about $550 to have the bodice taken in, straps shortened, hemline taken up slightly, and 5 pt bustle added (for reference my dress did not have any beading or lace). Overall, I enjoyed the experience!

  The Best Bridal Shop

  Where do I even begin about the incredible experience I had with New York Bride of Raleigh.
  To begin with I live in NYC and I went to all the “recommended” bridal salons. I also went to the Say Yes To The Dress store. I was put into dresses that my facial expression clearly told them that I did not like the dress, but was pushed to purchase as I had no other alternatives.  I was brought only 3 dresses and told this is all we have for your size. After leaving various stores, I was left saddened by the experience. II was left feeling because of my size and height I would not find a dress.
  I started searching online and I found a dress. It seems this dress was popular or the store no longer carried it because each store I called said they did not have it. Until I made a call to New York Bride of Raleigh. and spoke with Julie. OMG!!! The service I received over the phone topped all the stores I visited in-person including the one that has a tv show. Julie does was she does best, calms a bride's nerves and gives you hope. She told me her other store had the dress and she can get it shipped to her store. Via Facetime, she also had dresses in my size and the style I liked modeled by someone in her store. I felt like a celebrity. I booked my ticket and was on my way. Other than getting my dress, I wanted to meet Julie and tell her in-person thank you. She had no idea what our phone conversation did for me that day.  When the dress I liked arrived at the store, Julie Facetimed me to let me know.  The day came for me to fly down to Raleigh and try on the dress. I felt deep down inside that I would be leaving with my dress, I just knew it. 
  The experience I received over the phone was 100% more in person at New York Bride of Raleigh. !Susie, Bre, and Julie was so patient with me. They listened to me, laughed with me, and made me feel so comfortable. I let them know I did not want to look like a cake topper since I am short. I did want an out-of-the-box dress, that I would feel comfortable in.  Boy did they deliver :)  I waited to try on the dress that I flew down for until the end. The other dresses that Susie brought to me were all beautiful, but not the one. So, the time came to try on the "dress", it was nice, but it was not the one. Susie listened to me throughout the appointment, so she knew the style I was looking for and brought back some more dresses. And that is when it happened. I found my dress.  I could not believe it was me. John who worked there came out and gave his feedback, which took the happiness I was feeling to another level. I felt so special.
  I could go on and on about my experience New York Bride of Raleighin this review, but I might end up writing a thesis...lol
  New York Bride of Raleigh will be doing my wedding dress alterations, Yes I will be flying back, one because I trust them and two because I want to keep the experience going :)

  Dream Wedding Dress for $199!!

  I found my dream wedding dress at New York Bridge & Groom for only $199! At the time, they had an entire section of the store that was $500 dresses or less. If you had a larger budget, then the dress options were unlimited. The staff was extremely helpful and patient in assisting me in finding the perfect dress! They really understood my style and I didn't feel rushed or pressured with any decision. Luckily, I found the exact dress I was looking for that was priced under $200! I was very happy with my experience here and I would recommend anyone to this shop!

  NY Bride and Groom were great from the start! They helped me pick my dream dress. They were flexible and got my alterations done earlier so I could take my bridal portraits. They steam your dress for free as well. 10/10 recommend!

  Excellent Customer Service & Price

  I had such a pleasant experience from start to finish at New York Bride and Groom. The woman who helped me made finding a dress so fun and memorable for my mom, mother-in-law and I. I left after the first visit finding my dress and was SO happy with my decision.
  
  I decided to get alterations done at New York Bride and Groom and I am so glad I did. They had late appointment times to accommodate my work schedule and were so forgiving when I called 3 weeks before my wedding to give me another fitting as I had lost some more weight. The alterations department only does alterations that are absolutely necessary and I felt the price was extremely fair given the detail and alternations needed for my dress.
  
  Highly recommend New York Bride and Groom. So many dress options, great customer service and fair pricing!

  Wonderful Shopping Experience

  I came in for a trunk show and left with the dress of my dreams! They have tons of dresses to choose from and they are all perfectly organized. The individuals working there are also super friendly and helpful. After trying on about 10 dresses they helped me narrow it down to 3 that I was able to model in the larger 360 mirror. Even with COVID, my dress came in plenty of time. I would recommend this store to any brides to be looking for their dream dress at an affordable price.

The individuals working there are also super friendly and helpful. After trying on about 10 dresses they helped me narrow it down to 3 that I was able to model in the larger 360 mirror. Even with COVID, my dress came in plenty of time. I would recommend this store to any brides to be looking for their dream dress at an affordable price.

  Wonderful experience

  My family and bridal party are all out of state and I went to check out wedding dresses on my own. I was very hesitant but Ashley could not have made the experience any better for me. The staff is really wonderful and their selection is unbelievable (a bit overwhelming to be honest). You will not regret going to this shop to pick out your dress.

  Affordable dresses, personalized experience

  I loved shopping at NY Bride and Groom. The ease of the environment is like no other salon out there and I cannot wait to get my (really affordable) dress in! I don't think I saw many dresses over the $2k mark, so if your budget is lower than most of the brides on Say Yes To The Dress, this is your place!

This bridal boutique has tons of gowns to choose from which can be extremely overwhelming especially when you aren’t sure what type of dress you want. The staff all pitched in to help me find my perfect dress! They did just that. They ordered my dress, called when it came in, and did the alterations in house. Could not have asked for a better experience!!

  Very beautiful dressing rooms, and large selection of designers to choose from. Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. Alterations were very expensive, but she did a great job.

  Amazing work force!!

  I was there for SIX hours total! The young lady who helped me was so incredibly nice and patient with me! She listened to how I was explaining the dresses made me feel and tailored the style to how I felt! I cannot thank them enough for not making me feel rushed at all!
