John’s team was incredible at our wedding. Drinks were flowing all night with impeccable service. John was THE most responsive and flexible vendor we worked with. He was always willing to go the extra mile for us and provided top notch value with quality options. It was a day we will never forget and you were an essential part of it. I strongly recommend their services to future weddings in the area. -

Our wedding day
Man I was impressed with the atmosphere he created for our open bar. We had around 90 or so people. He had people enjoying themselves. Definitely would book again.New York Liquid Catering's reply:

John was so friendly, responsive, and accommodating and overall just wonderful to work with. He went above and beyond to get the local wines we requested for our wedding and provided everything we needed! We would highly recommend reaching out to NY Liquid Catering for your next event! -

We hired NY Liquid Catering for bar services and DJ services for our wedding. John was amazing in every way! We planned the wedding from Arizona and he was so helpful issues that arise from planning far away from the venue. He was so easy to get in contact with and he was always full of great ideas! He worked with every idea I had even ones that were untraditional. All the drinks were amazing and the music was great all night. John also checkin throughout the night to make sure we were happy with everything he was doing. If you want a stress free bar and DJ choose NY Liquid Catering! -

John did the bar tending for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding. He was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. From pricing to options to last minute changes! Very flexible and made sure we had everything we were looking for! Highly recommend! -

Liquid Catering is very professional, offers multiple options allowing for customization of your wedding, extremely fun and friendly, and their prices are very fair for the high level of service they provide. When I first reached out to John, the owner, I noticed immediately he would be great to work with because we had such an easygoing conversation about a somewhat stressful topic. We had decided to use a different catering staff for the food than for the alcohol given how incredibly expensive the food catering company had become (but that’s a story for another day). In our searching, we came across Liquid Catering as a mobile alcohol caterer in upstate NY, which was ideal. Anyhow, leading up to the wedding, John was enthusiastic with a high level of energy and always available for a quick chat, making coordination a whole lot easier. The day of the wedding, the crew arrived early and was mostly set-up in two different locations. We had a 30 min. rain delay and they kept the crowd happy. Moreover, during the reception, John and his team were super open to our cross-cultural wedding and helped out with some MC’ing and were great working the crowd. We would highly recommend Liquid Catering for their great customer service, large selection of options, professionalism, enthusiasm and friendliness, and competitive prices! Thank you John! -

DJ service was great! Played what the crowd wanted to hear and took requests to keep the party going! -

We had an awesome time with NY Liquid Catering, though we needed to ask them not to charge for wine at our open bar when they first opened the reception I wish I had met the bar staff in advance. They made a very strong cocktail as our signature drink which surprised a lot of people (bride included) many people got too drunk too quickly from it. I would suggest if you have a signature cocktail only serve it for a portion of the party not the entire time. We had an open bar with beer / wine/ champagne and a cash bar for liquor. The NYliquid team came a few days early to setup and we noticed he brought a few craft beers we hadn’t discussed to the bar, we appreciated that!
Overall the bar certainly got everyone ready to party, some people definitely drank too much, but hey that’s why these guys are here for!!!!!

We hired John and his team for our bar service, and also hired him for our DJ based on the reviews.
As far as bar service, the bartenders were friendly and efficient and the drinks were good. John worked well with us to make sure all of the options we wanted were available, and guests really enjoyed the signature drinks. I would definitely recommend New York Liquid Catering for bar service.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for John as a DJ. He was pretty disorganized and had many technical difficulties throughout the night. My husband was not happy that John set up the speakers for the ceremony about 20 minutes prior to our ceremony, and that the music was blasting in his ears the entire time. We had also sent John a list of music we wanted to hear, and well as songs for key moments with specific start and cutoff times for the dances. He had trouble following our instructions, and my husband and I were disappointed that we heard very few of the songs were had asked him to play. A few of our guests also made comments throughout the night about his poor DJ performance.
Overall, I would say the bar service is definitely 5/5 and to book them if you need catering for your wedding, but to go with another DJ service if you are considering this one.
