  Excellent tent company. Super professional, very organized and decent pricing. Was able to also rent tables, chairs and linens from them--so one stop shopping made easy!

  New York Tent was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend using them for any event. After having frustrating experiences with another local vendor while trying to plan our wedding on the North Fork, we learned from a few within the industry that you need to be very careful about your tent selection as not all companies on Long Island run the professional service that New York Tent does. The reviews tell true horror stories. Nancy and her team were incredibly helpful answering all our questions and even mocked up floor plans for us. The tent looked beautiful and was exactly as described. Beware of other vendors – I would play it safe and book with New York Tent every time!

  Howard Singer was the rep that we dealt with for all of our rentals (tent, tables, linens, ceremony chairs) and he was fantastic. I called about 5 different tent companies -- some referred by the venue (New Leaf Restaurant in Fort Tryon Park) and he got back to me the quickest with a proposal/quote. He was very friendly, calm and easy to work with. It was May 2012 when I first reached out to him and because May is a busy wedding month, several of the other vendors I worked with were very rude and dismissive when I told them my wedding wasn't until May 2013 -- but not Howard! I loved the clear tent and I received many compliments from the guests on the day-of.

  I am actually a little shocked by how few reviews these guys have as they go out of their way to over serve. When I was first refereed to them by my caterer (230 Elm), I was told that they were a little on the expensive side, but worth it based on quality and service. The later was definitely true, but based on other east end quotes I received, the price was middle of the road. For our wedding, we worked with Howard and team who were all extremely professional, flexible to changes and helpful, even offering significant free advice regardless of if it meant more or less $ for them. As for the tent, we rented a 30x60 pole tent for a 60 person reception per the recommendation, which turned out to be exactly perfect. Tent was put up two days in advance right on schedule and looked great! Highly recommended!

  I interviewed many Tent Companies for my back yard wedding, and New York Tent Company was the most professional by far. They came to my home, measured, and suggested the type of tent that would work the best for my yard. I wanted the tent to be an entension of the house, in case of rain, and they were able to accommodat that. They scheduled a date and time for delivery in advance, and came on time. They even picked up the week after my wedding while I wasn't home. Nothing in my yard was damaged by the tent. I would definitely use this company again for any outdoor event.

  We used New York Tent Co. as our tent vendor for our recent wedding and couldn't have been more pleased. Nancy and Danielle were very accommodating throughout the entire process, providing an initial estimate meet our needs, working with us to come up with the right size and set-up, and altering our contract on several occasions when we decided to add/remove pieces as we got closer to our wedding. On the weekend of the wedding, the set-up and tear-down went seamlessly and we had absolutely no problems!

  I hired NY tent to provide 2 large tents for an outdoor tented reception in my yard and their service and tents were exceptional-Nancy and her assistant helped us choose the perfect tent sizes to accomodate or guests (80) and band with large stage as well as the catering/food-we got a large 40' x 40' with a 20 x 30 attached in an L shape-i wanted the white draping for the main tent and a chandelier and, along with the siding, the tents looked incredible-the draping looked so beautiful with our dance floor and lighting and we also had tables, chairs, and linens provided. Tony and his crew who set up the tent were so professional and accomodating and were even gracious to our very nosy dog, a chocolate lab who thought she was supervising the setup :) It rained on our wedding day, but you'd never know it under the tent! The tent was high quality and very elegant, and arrived 3 days before the wedding and on time. Everyone at NY tent was a pleasure to work with and I feel their prices-for the level of quality and service-are competitive-If you're in LI or NYC I would highly recommend NY tent if you're looking for an elegant outdoor tented reception-I would hire them again in an instant!

  Our reception tent looked like a bridal magazine cover. We added the tent liners with 2 chandeliers . It was simply gorgeous! Everything was glowing with the voltaires and lights, I couldn't believe my eyes how beautiful the tent was set up. We had the amber & green color gel lights which we didn't need to use since the chandeliers were so bright. Danielle was my favorite contact person, she followed through with our order every step of the way. She was so honest with our needs. We wanted to do a flooring so the guests would not have to walk all over the grass since it was an outdoor reception. However, she informed us of the pricing which would cost more than the tent itself. And it's an unnecessary expense. She even suggested the color lights to match our wedding colors. And I loved how she was super organized with the paper work and all the updates with our rentals. I really enjoyed working with Danielle & the staff from the NY Tent Rental Co. They show you the different types of tent, give suggestions based on your wedding size and needs, and let you customize your rentals for your big day. Overall, I was really blown away and they definitely exceed my expectations. I absolutely loved my reception!
