We feel so lucky to have found Nicole as our wedding photographer! She was a true artist, capturing each moment with such skill and grace that it felt like she was part of the day without ever disrupting it. Loved working with Nicole!!
Nicole did an amazing job with our wedding photography from start to finish. She was incredibly patient and flexible throughout many adjustments and changes to our original wedding plan which was postponed due to COVID-19. Nicole was so supportive of all our changes and did an incredible job capturing our day. Amazing photos!
Nicole was awesome to work with! We both felt really comfortable with her from the first time we talked and on the actual day she was so easy to be around and made us feel comfortable getting our pictures taken. Enjoyable to work with
Nicole is such an enjoyable photographer to work with. She was flexible and worked with me patiently to make my wedding the way I wanted. We wanted Nicole to be our wedding photographer because of her works on garden weddings, and she didn't disappoint us, our wedding photos are gorgeous! Nicole is the absolute best!! Just take a look at her blog and you'll see...her talent is undeniable! She is so sweet, easy to work with, detail-oriented, and very responsive. She was also very quick to post our wedding photos (within a couple of days she had a sneak preview online for us). She is a true professional and went above and beyond to make sure she captured all the small (but very important) details of our day. She is a bit more expensive than some other photographers I've seen, but in our experience she is worth every penny. We are so grateful to Nicole for giving us pictures of our wedding day (and engagement) that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.Nicole is the absolute best!! Setting our wedding date and hiring Nicole Haley were our top orders of business after becoming engaged! We chose to get married in South Haven, MI and while researching South Haven wedding options, we came upon her blog, filled with magazine-worthy images she took of another couple’s wedding in the area. Nicole’s modern photographic style fit my visions perfectly and I knew right away we had to have her. Knowing how quickly a wedding day passes, it was essential we found someone we would feel comfortable entrusting to capture all of our special moments so we could relive them forever. Throughout the planning process, Nicole was always “present” and extremely responsive. She checked in periodically to collect any ideas...Setting our wedding date and hiring Nicole Haley were our top orders of business after becoming engaged! Throughout the planning process, Nicole was always “present” and extremely responsive. She checked in periodically to collect any ideas or thoughts we had and was helpful in sharing her reactions to them – always through the lens of a professional, experienced photographer who knows what works and what doesn’t. I felt so relaxed heading into our wedding since Nicole took the time to walk through a detailed photo wish list with us. She completely understood our photo goals for the day. She listened and provided suggestions. I even sent a lengthy shot list and she nailed every single one of my requests. I didn’t feel like we had a lens in our face all day, I felt like we had a friend taking our pictures. We were relaxed, calm and our shots looked so natural, unstaged and beautiful. What I loved most was that Nicole posted a preview of our day on her blog a couple days after our wedding and a full look about a month later. I hear so many horror stories of brides waiting months and was so excited to have them in my hands that soon. Prints also followed within days of ordering. We weren’t the only ones who loved our shots, StyleMePretty picked them up and even the designer of my wedding gown asked if they could post some to their website. I highly recommend Nicole Haley Photography for your wedding day or other special occasion shoot. -

Amazing photos and great experience
Nicole did our wedding photos in June 2023 and they came out amazingly! She really captured us authentically. We felt incredibly at ease with her. Our love shined through and the vibe of our reception was there in the action shots. Wonderful Photography
Short read: Nicole’s photography and attention to detail is amazing, and she tackles whatever challenges you may pose. Whatever event you have her for, rest assured you will receive absolutely gorgeous photos. I cannot recommend Nicole enough as your photographer!

From simple details to candid shots, Nicole captured it all, in beautiful detail and sharp, clear photos. Her attention to detail was what caught my eye when going through her sample galleries, and she still has that knack. Our bridal portraits turned out gorgeous thanks to her posing and direction. She was able to corral our rowdy families and bridal party in almost 90 degree heat and get amazing shots despite that. All in all, our wedding gallery looks like a dream come true. I cannot recommend Nicole enough. Do yourself a service and please book her for your event! -

Nicole is the best! She is kind, thoughtful, and easy to be around, and on top of that takes the most gorgeous photos! She was quick to respond to all questions, worked within our budget, and provided a timeline for our day taking into account what we wanted. We felt so comfortable working with her on the day of the wedding. Her photographs of our day were more than we imagined, we wanted candid's and she delivered. Nicole was a dream to work with for our wedding photos! Her friendliness, patience, and care were all top notch. We had no idea what we wanted with our photos. She took the time to suggest a small nearby courtyard, which ended up being the perfect backdrop for. Even in a small group, she was able to snap candid shots that look natural, relaxed, and fun. I cannot recommend Nicole enough! She captured every detail of our wedding - from the little touches to the candid moments to amazing portraits - and she does it all with calmness, joy, and ease. We also did our engagement shoot with her and she got to know us (and we got to know her) before the wedding day so it felt like an old friend coming to document our wedding, which made everyone feel so comfortable and natural for photos. She even wrangled all the family members for big group shots with such grace and professionalism, it was amazing! Not to mention even rescuing me when a bee flew up my dress :) Needless to say, Nicole goes...I cannot recommend Nicole enough! Nicole was great to work with. I found her work because she had done a wedding of friends of mine several years prior. She was very responsive to emails throughout the process, which was necessary for me as I live out of town, so I really appreciated that I could rely on her. We loved getting to do an engagement session before the wedding.
Our photos turned out beautifully! Nicole really captured the emotions of the day, and did a great job getting large group shots together efficiently. Everything flowed really smoothly. She was also proactive before the wedding day to make sure that the timeline was planned out so we got everything in.

She was quick to respond to emails, organized and listens to what you're looking for. During our wedding, she beautifully captured all the special moments (she didn't miss a thing) and her photos are simply stunning. Her website and online gallery are also very easy to use which my family appreciated! She was also quick to edit and share our wedding photos with us!

She was above and beyond organized throughout the event and got every shot we requested in our pre-event discussion. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I told her I don't like it when people's heads are cut out of the photos, which she listened to, but I should've added that I also don't like when the bottom half of people are cut out too because I ended...Nicole is absolutely amazing to work with. AMAZING. We absolutely love our wedding day photos. They captured the spirit of the day perfectly. Once you day is over you just itch to get those pictures and when we received ours they did not disappoint. We had a few great posed photos and so many amazing candid photos, us just being us! We told her we didn't want too many staged pictures and she really honored that. On top of her amazing work in photos she was a pleasure to be with on our special day. She deal with our antics well and certainly handled two HUGE families like a pro. We had many compliments on how great she was. Even our other vendors only had good things to say! Nicole Haley did a spectacular job of capturing the essence of our wedding in mid-June. The photos are stunning! From inquiry of service until the photos were provided, she was exceptional in providing professional, kind, and timely responses. She went above and beyond to provide helpful ideas, tips, and feedback. Nicole has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We loved working with Nicole! My husband and I are Midwesterners by birth by Autralians by residence. We wanted to get married back in the US midway between Chicago and Detroit (our hometowns). We came across lovely options in Ann Arbor for the ceremony, site, food and Nicole.
Honestly, there were a lot of great options in Ann Arbor in terms of photographers. I am an artist and nature photographer myself; I think I had pretty high standards. However, no one was as approachable and helpful as Nicole. She let me pester her with questions about where to eat, things to do, what florist to hire, and more.

I found that Nicole has a similar attitude towards life as my husband and myself. She loves the outdoors, is very down to earth, and takes time to notice the little things. Perhaps most photographers notice the 'little things'. But which little things. The aesthetically pleasing elements that are currently hot in pop culture or the details that clearly matter to you and accentuate your individuality. Nicole definitely falls into the latter category.
Finally, Nicole photographed our wedding on the 19th of December. She had our prints edited and up online by December 24th! It was a lovely holiday surprise to share with our families. Since we don't see our family often, living overseas, this was a spectacular touch. I don't know how she completely the editing in a short week. Thank you for all that you did to make our wedding relaxing and beautiful.

I wish I could give Nicole 10 stars because 5 doesn't seem like enough. She is so superb at what she does and our pictures turned out more stunning than I ever imagined. From my first meeting with her it seemed like a great fit and I knew it was going to be so much fun to work with her. She is so easy going and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera that the photos turn out very natural--we got a ton of fantastic candids and to be honest, I didn't even notice she was taking photos most of the wedding! I HIGHLY recommend working with Nicole, she is absolutely hands down one of the best photographers in Ann Arbor!!I wish I could give Nicole 10 stars because 5 doesn't seem like enough. Our experience with Nicole was as phenomenal as my wife and I could have hoped for. From our very first meeting with her when we were still trying to find a photographer, we knew that we would feel very comfortable having her be a part of our very special day. Walking out of that first meeting, when she laid out everything she offered, we were both just about convinced that we would be choosing Nicole to be our photographer.
After we made that decision, Nicole made the process as smooth as can be. She is clearly a seasoned professional and laid out all the steps necessary to prepare for the day, and we even met another time to...Our experience with Nicole was as phenomenal as my wife and I could have hoped for. From our very first meeting with her when we were still trying to find a photographer, we knew that we would feel very comfortable having her be a part of our very special day. Walking out of that first meeting, when she laid out everything she offered, we were both just about convinced that we would be choosing Nicole to be our photographer.
After we made that decision, Nicole made the process as smooth as can be. She is clearly a seasoned professional and laid out all the steps necessary to prepare for the day, and we even met another time to iron out any details. She stayed in contact frequently and had a form for us to fill out to specify what types of pictures were the most important to us.
On the day of the wedding, Nicole and her assistant were awesome. They were fun to be around and made the whole process a joy. We were laughing just about the entire time we were taking formal photos with them. She stayed through the dancing and was always around whenever we wanted to get a picture with someone. The wedding day was a first rate experience.
Now that we have seen the photos, we again couldn't be happier. They turned out gorgeously, and we are going to enjoy these photos the rest of our lives. She took pictures of just about everything at the wedding, from the people to the ceremony to the location to the little details that made the wedding ours. We cannot wait until we get the wedding album she is making for us.
We could not be happier with Nicole and the service she provided us. If looking for a photographer, you need to have a meeting with Nicole. I promise you will come away from that meeting with the same impression we had, and you will not regret your decision to choose her. She is fantastic! -

Nicole was absolutely amazing throughout the day. Many people commented when seeing the pictures that they had no idea she was even around at the time. We got so many great pictures - and mostly the non traditional candid versions that we requested.
