  Best DJ ever! Ed is amazing!!!

  As soon as I spoke with Ed to inquire about DJ service for my wedding, I immediately knew I wanted him to provide entertainment for our day! Ed was so easy to work with and spoke with us numerous times before the wedding and really got to know my husband and I as a couple. He went above and beyond and was so helpful every step of the way. My friends and family absolutely loved him and kept us dancing all night long!! I HIGHLY recommend Ed for DJ service. He was a pleasure to work with and so much fun!

  Again and again!

  I don’t even know where to begin! Ed is simply amazing! He is so easy to work with and so efficient. He was not just our DJ but acted as our day of coordinator. He made sure everything ran smoothly and put my mind at ease all day. Ed is also graa wast at emailing/communicating. He always got right back to me and it was obvious our big day meant a lot to him! Our day was perfect and Ed had so much to do with that! We would choose him again and again!

  Way more than a DJ!

  Ed was a great DJ and way more than that! We were planning our wedding from a distance and Ed was so easy to work with and great at communicating with us by phone and email. We think Ed went way above and beyond what is expected from a DJ as he worked closely with our day of coordinator to keep things moving throughout the afternoon and evening. He helped make sure the whole day, not just the music, ran smoothly. We really did not have the best idea of what kind of music we wanted for the general dancing part of the reception and really left things up to Ed. He played a great selection of music keeping people out on the dance floor having fun! I would highly recommend Ed to anyone I know.

  AMAZING! Ed was everything we were looking for in a DJ. He listened to what we wanted and gave us just that! He kept the dance floor really engaged and kept our timeline on track. He was conscientious in making sure everything went right, from pronunciation of names to requested songs! We highly recommend him to anyone needing a DJ. Absolutely fantastic.

  We were originally on the fence about whether we needed a DJ for our wedding. With it being a daytime brunch reception, we didn’t think people would be all that interested in dancing. We’ve been at weddings where the DJ is loud and obnoxious, which we really wanted to avoid. But, we also weren’t sure about putting together our own playlist and didn’t want to ask one of our family members to be in charge of the music. So, we got a few referrals for DJs and decided to see where that led us.
  
  We called Ed first, since he was recommended by our day-of coordinators, and we immediately knew that he would be a great choice. He sounded so perfect that we didn’t even pursue the other DJs! Ed is very professional and experienced, he has all the equipment you could possibly need, and his pricing is fair and reasonable. He listened to all of our ideas and concerns, and did an amazing job. He managed to play music that reflected our taste – soulful oldies, R&B, folk, blues – and when people DID want to dance (much to our surprise!) he kept the party going. Several guests came up to me and complimented us on the music. We couldn’t imagine a better DJ!

  There are not enough words to express how great Ed with Night Owl DJ's was before, during, and after my wedding! We booked him a year in advance, and he was checking in all the time and keeping up with everything! The wedding went smoothly, and he was right there to help where needed. I would recommend him for anyone!!

  Ed (Night Owl DJ )is the only DJ in Kentuckian you should consider. He was so professional and did many different jobs! He was a timekeeper, wedding coordinator, and DJ all in one. You meet with him, and he is the person that does your wedding. I honestly can't say enough about how AWESOME he is. He completely kept everything in line, and did an awesome job with coordinating with other vendors. I'm already thinking of other events I can have, just so I can work with him again. I knew if I emailed him, he would respond in a timely fashion, and he was open to phone calls at any time. I didn't feel like I had to chase him down, he answered any questions that I had. He did an amazing job at our wedding, and I can't think of anyone else I would have trusted my big day to. You can't go wrong in hiring Ed!

  Ed was VERY flexible and worked well with my HIGH demands. My wife and I have a wide variety in our taste in music and I was very picky on what I expected at the wedding. Even with these strict guidelines, he exceeded expectations and kept the party dancing until close. I highly recommend his services.

  Ed is fantastic, and I couldn't picture the day without him! He took the lead on things so that I didn't have to. He is very detail oriented and can read a crowd very well. I cannot recommend him enough. Totally worth every penny! He will work with you beforehand to make sure it is exactly what you want.

  I am so happy we chose Ed as the DJ for our Louisville wedding!! He was very professional, easy to talk with and help plan the reception, and definitely knew what he was doing!! I had so many people tell me after the wedding that our DJ was amazing! Everyone was dancing the whole evening, and loved his song selections. I had told him before the wedding that we just like a good mix of music, and using that, he was able to play songs that everyone was dancing to the whole time....from 2 yrs old to in their 70s :))

  Night Owl DJ's was phenomenal. Some DJ's give you a cheesy/weird vibe, but Night Owl DJ's was just so natural and professional! He made sure every detail was perfect, and made my wedding absolutely perfect. Everyone raved about him. He met every request we made, even went above and beyond, and WOW did it exceed our expectations. Night Owl DJ's definitely made our wedding the best night of our lives. I will be telling every bride about them!!

He even met with us just weeks before the wedding at the venue. The day of the wedding he was just as great as he had been throughout the entire process. He played music that was a perfect fit for the guests, and we had people dancing the entire time. If we had to do it again we would pick Ed every single time.

  We were extremely pleased with night owl djs and how available Ed made himself. He not only provided wonderful music and met all of our needs but he managed the ceremony and kept things on track. He was a lifesaver on our big day, which we planned in only 7 weeks. We will def. recommend Ed and night owl djs to all our friends and family.

  Ed was a huge part of our wedding day as he not only provided all the great tunes but he helped us facilitate the events of the day. He was incredibly flexible on meeting up for planning and we were actually able to knock a lot of it out over e-mail. (Isn't technology great?) Ed has to be one of the easiest guys to get along with as well. He never made us feel like he was pushing ideas or he was trying to take control. A no brainer for a carefree wedding day!

Ed was extremely professional and went well out of his way to make sure that everything was organized and all of the stress of our day was eliminated.   If you are having a wedding in the Louisville Area you must hire Ed from Night Owl DJs. He is hands down my number 1 favorite vendor that I hired for our September 7th wedding. He is an experienced DJ, down to earth, has great eclectic music taste, listens to you, is patient, offers suggestions but isn't pushy, and will help anyway he can. He always answered all my questions promptly whether by email or phone. He is a super cool dude too, very easy to be around and get along with.
  He connected with my wedding day planner, photographer, and caterer in advance to make sure they were all on the same page. He constructed our wedding day time line, HUGE STRESS SAVER, of course with our input. He came to our rehearsal to make sure things ran smoothly and stayed until we felt comfortable with the flow of the ceremony. As for music, he played what we requested and kept to our do not play list.
  Day of he emceed the whole thing perfectly and honestly, without him, I don't think it could have ran as smoothly as it did. He did such a great job, several of our guests tried to pay him to keep playing after it was time to go because the dance party was that awesome. We still hear people tell us, our wedding was one of the best and most fun and I give most of the credit to Ed.
  I've been to a ton of weddings locally; some had so-so DJs where the music wasn't even memorable and some that where so over the top and intrusive (and played every top 40 song - how unoriginal), you would have thought that wedding was all about them and not the event/couple. Ed was a great mix of the good music, set a great tone and pace for the event, and emceed perfectly. Oh, and he is resonably priced!! Bonus! I can't say enough good things about him and you'll have zero regrets if you hire him!

  If you are having a wedding in the Louisville Area you must hire Ed from Night Owl DJs. He is hands down my number 1 favorite vendor that I hired for our September 7th wedding. He is an experienced DJ, down to earth, has great eclectic music taste, listens to you, is patient, offers suggestions but isn't pushy, and will help anyway he can. He always answered all my questions promptly whether by email or phone. He is a super cool dude too, very easy to be around and get along with.
  He connected with my wedding day planner, photographer, and caterer in advance to make sure they were all on the same page. He constructed our wedding day time line, HUGE STRESS SAVER, of course with our input. He came to our rehearsal to make sure things ran smoothly and stayed until we felt comfortable with the flow of the ceremony. As for music, he played what we requested and kept to our do not play list.
  Day of he emceed the whole thing perfectly and honestly, without him, I don't think it could have ran as smoothly as it did. He did such a great job, several of our guests tried to pay him to keep playing after it was time to go because the dance party was that awesome. We still hear people tell us, our wedding was one of the best and most fun and I give most of the credit to Ed.
  I've been to a ton of weddings locally; some had so-so DJs where the music wasn't even memorable and some that where so over the top and intrusive (and played every top 40 song - how unoriginal), you would have thought that wedding was all about them and not the event/couple. Ed was a great mix of the good music, set a great tone and pace for the event, and emceed perfectly. Oh, and he is resonably priced!! Bonus! I can't say enough good things about him and you'll have zero regrets if you hire him!

  Ed from Night Owl DJ's was GREAT!!! He worked hard to give us all the songs that we wanted during our wedding. He helped us with everything, not just the music. He made sure everything ran smooth and that we didn't have to worry about anything. If you want a great DJ who will work very hard to give you the wedding of your dreams, then Ed is your man.

  I loved our DJ, Ed! We originally planned to do an iPod reception, but then my best friend and her fiance hired him and told us about their meeting with him. We decided to give it a shot, and we met Ed and hired him that day. He was entirely professional and was the vendor we had that kept in touch with us the most about the wedding. He responded to our emails generally within the day and called us the week of the wedding to confirm all of the details. At the wedding, he played all of the music we requested, and even though I didn't have a lot of people at my wedding as expected, he still played for the few of us that were dancing like idiots. It was great to have an emcee at the reception as well; he kept everything on schedule. We also got to see Ed at our best friends' wedding a month later and he was just as good there!   My husband and I could not be happier with the service we got from Ed Purcell and NightOwl DJs. Not only was he our DJ but I couldn't have pulled this wedding off without his knowledge and organization. Our ceremony and reception were in the same room and he did our music for both. He definately went above and beyond to make our day special and he succeeded. Everything went so smooth and my guests had such a wonderful time thanks to him and the music choices he made at the reception. He's not only a wonderful DJ but an awesome person and you can tell he loves what he does and his energy at my wedding made that obvious. Also, we couldn't find anyone who beat his pricing and I would have paid a lot more with the service I got from Ed.

  Ed is great. He was able to read our guests and play songs accordingly. He was so helpful and made us feel so comfortable. We met with him twice before the wedding and every concern we had he fixed, every expectation we had he exceeded beyond measure.
