Great photos

We finally framed photos to put on our walls and shared the wedding album with my husband's family, and they are really impressed by the photos! We are not good models, but the ambiance of photos is great. My husband and MIL especially like a non-typical wedding photo in rain, captured during the one-minute walk from JW Marriott to the Rookery - photojournalism as its best!

Photographer is important to us. We interviewed 6 (mainly because the first 3 did not work - or it would not be necessary), down selected to 2, and finally selected Noelle after reviewing two full galleries from two photographers, mainly because more thoughtful bride and groom's portraits at the Rookery with better direction.

Noelle is great to work with. Responsive, agreeable. Great direction (or we would not know how to pose). Great sense of humor too! Got sneak peek photos very quickly (for a winter wedding), and lots of great photos I like! I would definitely recommend her!

Perfect photographer for documentary-style photography!

We found Noelle on Instagram when looking for a more true-to-life, documentary style for our wedding photos, and we are SO happy with our decision. We didn't want a lot of posed photos and instead wanted to have natural moments captured, and Noelle does that so beautifully. Of course, we had some posed family photos taken, but it never felt very awkward or forced. My husband isn't very comfortable in front of the camera, but she really helped him feel at ease!

Noelle also has an extremely calming presence and was nothing but calm and professional the entire day. On our wedding day, unexpected weather and traffic meant that our photography locations and timelines had to be shifted and extremely compressed. Even with the additional stress she was cool as a cucumber and didn't let it faze her. All our family commented on how calm and collected she was, which helped to make sure that we didn't feel any additional stress on our wedding day!

I'd Give More Stars if They Let Me

I am a photographer, and I'm here to tell you: don't hire me, hire Noelle Adams. Her work is exquisite, her wedding side manner is perfection. She is such a lovely, sweet, kind, beautiful human, and I kinda can't believe she doesn't charge more. She is the ideal mix of talented artist and people person in that she is able to capture people's authentic beautiful selves on their special day with aesthetic precision. And it is clear she loves what she does.

Wonderful!

Hiring Noelle to capture our wedding day was the BEST decision we made, and I would do it 10x over again! She is so calm, compassionate, and easy-going. I absolutely love her candid story-telling photography style that gave us the wedding photos of our dreams. If you want gorgeous candid wedding photos with beautiful airy lighting, she is your person! We are so grateful we had the chance to work with her for our downtown Chicago wedding.

Definitely recommend working with Noelle!

We hired Noelle for our wedding and engagement photos and both were so amazing! We have already received so many compliments from our wedding party on how incredible the photos are and how easy it was to work with Noelle. She is so fun to work with and is extremely talented and patient and makes sure to capture all kinds of photos - I am the 4th bride I know that has used her and all weddings have been captured beautifully!

Amazing and creative experience!

Incredible Engagement Photos

Noelle far surpassed our expectations in every way. Not only did she show up early and with a full set up of equipment, she also made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She had us laughing and smiling the whole time- and it really showed in the photos. Fairy Tale Photos & a Fairy Tale Experience

It's long overdue for me to get the word out about how amazing of a wedding photographer Noelle is - especially since we've been enjoying her photos daily for 3 months! If you are looking for a photographer who will make you feel comfortable, personalize the photos to you, have natural, beautiful looking photos then you've found who you should work with! I feel so lucky that we found Noelle to be our wedding photographer. From our engagement shoot in 40 degree cold, rainy day to a sunny 90 degree wedding day - Noelle helped us embrace every image. She was with us all day on the wedding, captured so many amazing memories and always kept us laughing and smiling. As for the finished product, we could not be happier. There are so many important and beautiful photos from portraits to legit fairy-tale looking candids, it's hard to know how we'll display and enjoy them all! Thank you Noelle!!

If you are thinking about reaching out to Noelle, do not hesitate, do it now.

We could not have asked for a more professional, talented, accommodating, approachable photographer than Noelle.

We took photos in downtown Chicago in what we were expecting to be warm(ish) spring day. Boy were we wrong! It was in the 30's with strong wind. Yet, there we were, in our spring attire trying to take engagement photos.

Noelle did an amazing job navigating us quickly and efficiently in and out of buildings to her favorite spots to stay as warm as possible but also get some great shots!

The best compliment we received on one of our engagement photos was from a lady who said:

"I thought that photo was a magazine cover."

It is a true testament to Noelle's beautiful, timeless style (and my beautiful fiancee).

If all businesses ran like Noelle's, the world would be a much better place.

I had a wonderful experience with Noelle as my wedding photographer!

I chose Noelle as my wedding photographer because of her amazing talent! Leading up to my wedding I would watch her video stories of other couples and she really captures every amazing moment in weddings! I got my wedding photos and videos and was blown away with how amazing they were! She captured every moment and I'm so happy I chose her because I get to relive those happy memories all over again! I am so incredibly happy with Noelle!! She is the best. I looked around at so many photographers since pictures were the most important part to me. As soon as I met with Noelle, I knew she was the one! She is amazing. She is so attentive and dedicated to making sure your wedding is everything you want and more. Noelle is so great with making sure my husband and myself were having fun and enjoying the moment. My engagement pictures session with Noelle was better than I could have ever imagined, as well. I have received an immense amount of compliments on the engagement pictures and it is making me that much more excited to see the wedding pictures. I completely trust Noelle. My husband absolutely loved Noelle. My husband does not enjoy taking pictures, but he definitely enjoyed the engagement pictures and wedding pictures being taken. Noelle was the photographer for my husband's best friend's wedding and we were obsessed with the photos. After meeting in person with Noelle, we were positive we wanted to work with her for ours. Not only is her work INCREDIBLE, she is very personable, funny, and professional. We liked having the engagement shoot so we could get used to being photographed and also got comfortable with Noelle.

Noelle creates a unique wedding "trailer" with shots from the wedding and clips from the toasts and speeches that she has available a week or two after the wedding as a teaser and reminder of how awesome the wedding was and what we could anticipate from her printed work.

We received a photo album that is gorgeous and everyone who saw our prints raved about how perfect they look. Her photojournalistic style captured our day as a story.

You will be 110% pleased with Noelle with her creativity and artistry but also her easy going personality.

Noelle was so amazing to work with! She was always willing to give us her honest opinion and ideas on areas to shoot around the city and where to get the best lighting. She also help me and my husband feel at ease in front of the camera and made the photoshoots so fun. This resulted in absolutely gorgeous photos throughout our entire wedding day! She truly captured the best moments. We weren't able to afford a videographer, but Noelle was able to film our ceremony and speeches in addition to shooting the whole wedding day! My husband and I can't stop looking at photos and watching the video she composed for us. Noelle is truly amazing to work with and very affordable for the quality of her work! We can't say enough about how great working with her is - obviously we recommend her to everyone!

I just received our wedding pictures from Noelle and I can't stop smiling. She has such an artist talent (without making our pictures look fake/unrealistic) and she captured all of the joy of our wedding day!

During our photographer search, Noelle was the most down-to-earth and personable photographers that we met with. Her pricing was also very clear and easy to understand. There wasn't the "you have to buy each individual picture", "the album is $X hundreds more", "I don't take a shot list", "I will only photoshop X number". Photographing weddings means quite obviously more to her than making money.

Then there was the day of... We truly felt like our best friend was taking our picture that day. She made us feel so comfortable and it shows in our pictures (lots of kissing and smiling!)! She also stayed THE ENTIRE TIME, even after we extended it an hour, at no extra cost (what a trooper)!

The wedding video she creates for you after your wedding is one of the most unique things we saw from a photographer in our search and avoided us spending thousands on a videographer. It's the perfect snapshot of our day and has me crying (happy tears of course) every time.

Thank you, Noelle! Not only do I have amazing photographs to remember my day, but I also have an incredible new friend and am lucky to have met you!

Noelle has been AMAZING! She was able to customize her already very reasonable package to reflect our non-traditional wedding plans. She was friendly, and very responsive, which was great. I know for a wedding photographer you want to like them personally and I felt very comfortable with her. Looking back through the photos I am shocked by the amazing moments she was able to capture. She was everywhere and nowhere doing the ceremony, I literally don't remember a camera in the room, but the multiple angles she captured are so priceless and surprising given how subtle her presence was. She was quick to turn around my photos and is always super sweet in our communications, making me feel that she is personally invested in the work that she did immortalizing our wedding day. Noelle did the photographs for my wedding on September 6th, 2016. She was extremely professional and great to work with. She showed up on time and got right to work capturing the moments while I was getting ready with my bridesmaids. Those are some of my favourite photos. She also then travelled to another location to take photos of my husband and his group at a local bar before heading back to do photos with myself and my family. We chose not to have a first look, so we had to do a lot of our photos during the cocktail hour.

Despite the tight timing, Noelle delivered really fantastic photos of us on the beach as well as fitting in family formals. The candid shots she got of the reception and speeches are also some of my favourite photos.

Noelle even put together a photo montage of our photos with audio from the ceremony and the speeches that we were able to share with our family and friends within a couple weeks of the wedding. I will always treasure that photo montage. It really captured the spirit of the day and still makes me tear up every time I watch it.

She was great value for money, and even included a short engagement session which we enjoy as well. I would highly recommend Noelle as a candidate for your wedding.

Noelle was awesome! I hired her to take pictures of my proposal which couldn't have gone better. She's a real professional, and the pictures turned out great. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a good photographer in the Chicago area.

Noelle was perfect for our wedding. We had rain delays and weather issues, but she adjusted her plan and still took many amazing pictures of our family and friends just enjoying themselves at our event. She also had some very well thought out poses and vignettes ready for our own personable photos as well.
I highly recommend this very talented photographer for really any event. She took great pictures of children, objects, our animals as well as our friends and family. Yes Yes Yes.

Writing about Noelle's talents as a photographer would be a waste of time - just look at her portfolio online; her fantastic work speaks for itself.

What I can tell you is that our experience with Noelle as our wedding photographer was better that we could have possibly hoped for. During our first Skype conversation with her, we remarked on a great painting behind her and she said "Thank you, I painted that!", so we knew she had a creative spirit, but over the entire process she brought a much needed warm, friendly, and fun attitude for the stressful process of planning a wedding. Always listening to our thoughts and conscious of the tone we wanted to set, she was full of ideas and suggestions without ever being pushy or intrusive. During the day of, she was the best kind of creative: had a plan of places to go and poses to make, but we all ran with whatever inspired us in the moment, and some of our best photos were taken in bouts of spontaneity. Just from a personal standpoint, she was an absolute delight to work with. The kind of person you wish you were friends with outside of a professional setting, but being so lovely they probably have too many friends already.

She also deserves a gold star in the "above and beyond" category. Compared to a lot of other photographers, she is extremely affordable, and earns every penny. She spent way more time and took way more photos for our ceremony than we were expecting, to the point that we were concerned she was overworking herself! An absolute juggernaut, she was with us the entire day and never seemed to lose her spirit or enthusiasm. I would say that dollar for dollar, Noelle is an excellent photographer, but that would only be highlighting her fantastic pricing and doing a disservice to her craft. Noelle is simply an excellent photographer.

Unprofessional

Noelle did our engagement shoot and we had some issues but she fixed them.
So we moved forward with her services. She then did our rehearsal dinner
and wedding. We got the rehearsal dinner back and they were mainly pictures
of my sister in laws kids and a mini photo shoot of other couples. Many of
the family photos we got my dads eyes were closed or someone wasn’t
looking. Complete waste of money having the rehearsal dinner photos done.
We had it on the odyssey and not one image of the outside of the boat or
our 4 course meal. Not even one image of the monogrammed desserts I
brought. Utter disappointment. She didn’t apologize or care when I brought
it to her attention. She said I don’t take picture of food it’s awkward.

Then my wedding photos are all taken very far away so they look blurry and
appear to be low quality. My eyes look all black in many of them. She also
randomly made them black and white without asking me. No where in our
contract does it say black and white photos. The photos of the
bridesmaid robes have my sisters head cut off of the image of the robe
saying maid of honor. We do not understand why heads are missing from
photos. We are very sad with how are photos turned out.

She denied the quality issue and is refusing to speak to me and my husband.
She is having her husband email us. We don't even know if he is a
photographer.

We are posting this to help prevent others from having this happen to them.
