  Simply Amazing!

  We had a small private ceremony and Reverend John Barker performed the ceremony for us. He was simply amazing and so funny...he had us cracking up laughing before, during and after the ceremony and we wouldn't change anything about our experience! He was sweet, affectionate and just wonderful and even entertained my practical joke on my new husband adding to "share the recliner" in our vows! My new husband was caught off guard and busted out laughing...it was everything I wanted! Thank you so much Rev. Barker for celebrating with us and being a part of our biggest moment...it's one for sure we will never forget!

  Quick, easy, and perfect!

  We were doing a destination wedding and needed a quick civil wedding in a short amount of time with not too many days to spare. I was so happy to see that John Barker was available even on easter Sunday to do a quick ceremony for us. He was great! Funny, friendly, and a great experience overall. Would recommend to anyone looking to get married in the North Texas area.

  Great Wedding ceremony.

  John was awesome and spent time getting to know us and our guests before ceremony. John is very personable and awesomely family friendly . Ceremony was relaxing and enjoyable we laughed and some cried but it was great . Oh and my 4 yr old nephew said John was cool

  Reverend John did a great job officiating our ceremony. He brought such a lighthearted and fun energy to the day and really calmed our nerves during the ceremony. He made everything so easy. Such a great guy to work with!

  John Made the Wedding Perfect !

  My aunt owned a wedding service. I have been to too many weddings to count in my lifetime. John was absolutely the best I have ever witnessed. He takes the stress out of the service with humor. His voice and confidence creates a lasting memory. I would recommend him to Everyone.

  A Wonderful Experience

  After 30 years together, my partner and I decided to strengthen our relationship through marriage. We wanted a simple ceremony attended by only close friends. We contacted Reverend John Barker and established the date and time for our ceremony. The day came and by our request, Reverend John officiated our wedding as Santa Claus. What a wonderful experience performing a serious service joining our love together through joy, love and laughter. It is a day I will always remember and one that I can share through my memories. We highly recommend Reverend John and the professional services he offers. He has married many a happy couple and know he will marry many, many more. Thank you Reverend John Barker.

  Simple, Sweet, and Heartfelt Ceremony

  My daughter and her husband wanted a simple, intimate wedding ceremony. John did not disappoint. It was a sweet, heartfelt ceremony. John's added his unique sense of humor to ease the nerves and made it fun for all. They were so glad they set up a weekday ceremony at Addison Circle instead of going to the courthouse. Thank you for giving our children a sweet start to their happily ever after.

  Exceptional

  John is wonderful and what a voice!! He scheduled me with about a 12 hour notice!! He accommodated everything or us. My new husband is critically ill and in the hospital. John came to the hospital and made us feel special. Gracious and kind, I’m thankful I found him. I highly recommend.

  Rev. John Barker is the best wedding officiant there is. He is a very flexible man. I was a couple of minutes late my Kiss and Run appointment, but Rev. John Barker was extraordinarily patient, and the wedding ceremony went very smoothly. He had a calm, low booming voice that people miles away could hear. I was confident that he knew what he was doing and was very professional I could tell that he loves his job. The only small criticism I have is his photographic abilities, so make sure you have your own photographer. Overall, I highly recommend him to any couple that is willing to get married. 10/10!

Before the day of the wedding, he gives advice of things you would never think of period to practice the 1st kiss so that it looks pretty, to wear magnetic corsages so that they don't fall off, Fresh rose petals are like banana peels. The day of the wedding, he went through with the guys on how to match each other's hands, how the girls should walk down the aisle and hold their bouquets... If you hire anyone else, you made a mistake.

There were no "surprises" because he went over the proceedings in detail prior to the ceremony with both Chris and Jeannie...which made things calm and delightful. Not only did John conduct a beautiful ceremony, but he knows how to lighten up things to keep the bride and groom relaxed (and the parents, too). It was simply a wonderful Saturday afternoon!

  Reverend John made our special day one we will never forget. Being from out of state, he accommodated our wedding plans and made us feel right at home in Texas. My husband and I were married in AT&T Stadium on the 50 yard line. John made us feel so special on our wedding day and catered to our every need. I highly recommend this kind gentleman for your ceremony. He is responsive and caring and added a genuine special touch to our ceremony. He even took pictures for us too! We are forever grateful, John. God Bless!

From the phone calls during our writing of the vows to the text to assure us he was going to be early to our wedding, excellent. Family members on both sides were very pleased with him as well.
