  Jeff and team have a true gift! I can't say enough about how beautifully our video turned out. I balled the first time we watched it, and many times after that... They captured some of the most memorable moments from our big day (no detail was too small) and pieced them together in a way that felt so undeniably "us". Not only that, but so many of our friends and family say they don't even remember a video camera that day, so they were somehow able to do this without anyone noticing, which is even more remarkable! If you're questioning whether to hire a videographer, do not hesitate. You will cherish your video for a lifetime. I highly recommend Jeff at Northern Lights! Best money we spent by far.

  This team was hands down AMAZING!!!!!!!! They were so easy to work with and that same-day edit video was so wonderful!!! I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a video of their special day. You seriously won't regret it!!!   I want to be honest, I went to school for film, and I knew finding a wedding videographer whose work I would love and that I could also afford would be a difficult task. I combed through dozens of Videographers using multiple wedding sites and watched hundreds of wedding videos/films, and the best I found was Jeff at Northern Lights. He had great work on his website, and after speaking to him, I knew he was the right videographer for me. An absolute professional, a wealth of knowledge and quality equipment, everything I wanted, at a fair price. He worked with me so I had everything I wanted. I also asked Jeff to shoot my proposal in the guise of doing a Love Story video, which I am beyond ecstatic to have filmed. I love showing off my proposal to friends and family, and later on, our amazing wedding video. If you have any doubts, just talk to Jeff, check out his work, and you will see you have nothing to worry about!

I was so very wrong! I started watching wedding videography videos online and fell in love with the moments they captured that photos just couldn't. He is very flexible, affordable, and has amazing talent! He customizes his services to however comfortable you are with being in front of the camera. We personally picked for him to be everywhere he could to capture special moments (however you can also choose for him to be more unnoticeable in the background at the event). I am so grateful I decided to hire a videographer because the speeches at our wedding were so amazing and I can't wait to relive all those moments and emotions all over again, which I couldn't do had we just hired a photographer. We also had a personal friend sing at our ceremony as well as my husband's college acapella group sang at the reception. Yes there are smartphone videos of it floating out on youtube, but nothing will compare to having those movements captured by a professional.   Jeff at Northern Lights Video has amazing skills. During the event you don't even notice he is there and yet he is able to capture your day and tell the story of it in the most incredible way. You will not be disappointed with the final product!! When wedding planning I did my research and Northern Lights Video was the first vendor I secured... and boy are we glad we did!! Our family and friends are in awe of how nice our cinematic recap and our wedding film turned out. In the words of my father, "WOW. What a treasure!!" It's something we'll be able to have to pull out and be reminded of our special day for years to come. It's priceless. Worth every penny!! Do not hesitate to spend the money to have a professional videographer like Jeff at Northern Lights Video. You will be glad that you spent money on something you'll treasure the rest of your life.

  Jeff created the most beautiful video of our wedding day! We are so happy we decided to go with Northern Lights. He captured so many beautiful moments and 99% of the time, I never knew he was there. He is extremely talented and good at his job!

  When we decided we wanted a videographer at our wedding, we set up several appointments with different companies. After meeting with Jeff, we felt like our decision to go with him was easy. He answered all of our questions and was very easy to talk to. In addition, he was very flexible with package options and allowed us to build our own package based on what we wanted. Jeff showed up the day of our wedding and did such a great job filming all the important moments yet wasn't obstructive. He captured the details of our wedding day and put them together in several beautiful edited videos. Jeff also listened to our requests about music used in the video, including picking songs from a list of suggestions we came up with to use in the video (which I really appreciated because I was somewhat picky about the music). When we got our video back a couple months ago, we were so happy to see our day on film and to be able to share it with family and friends. He even included some extras that we didn't originally request, which was very nice of him. I've gotten so many compliments on the quality and style of our video, including some family members who said they wished they could go back to their wedding day so they could have Jeff film it.

  The first time Ivan and I sat down to watch the video, we cried.  The cinematic recap and it's music welled us both up with emotion and seeing tears fall onscreen made tears fall in our living room. Each time we watch it, we're magically transported back to that heavenly day. The way Jeff captured the happiness, humor, joy, nerves, love...it's really unbelievable...absolutely beautiful.

  Jeff was amazing! We had heard such good things about him from other people that we had him do our wedding in Madison, WI. He was wonderful. WE didn't even realize he was there most of the time which was a good thing. He was very professional and sent an amazing "preview" of our video just a few short weeks after the wedding. I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone who wants a quality video of their wedding.

  We weren't sure if we wanted a videographer at our wedding at first. When we saw the final video, I couldn't believe how amazing it turned out and was more thrilled with the video than our photography!!!! Jeff's ability to capture your day and put it in an artistic story is truly incredible. I still cry everytime I watch it; and I watch the recap frequently. You will not be disappointed with his professionalism or his work. We have had some other friends have other companies or family/friends do their videos, and they have even said they are jealous of how great ours turned out. We got copies for both of our parents and even one for my grandma. They love to show it to our family and friends! I can honestly say that I would have sacrificed several other things that we had for our wedding (limo, traveling photo booth) to have NLV! Our video is invaluable and the best momento we have from our big day!!!!!

  Jeff did a great job at capturing our ceremony as well as all the before and after moments. He worked well with our photographer (whom he had never met) and made a great video of our special event. Jeff is very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and provides good service - we would definitely recommend him!
