    We enjoyed having our reception at the Norwalk Inn. The staff were responsiveness and flexible in making our day special. All of our guests were out of state, so it was very convenient to have guest rooms, restaurant, bar, and amenities available to them.

    The night couldn't have gone easier. We did not have a planner but Jimmy stood on top of everything and helped the night move smoothly. If you can request Marta as a bartender your night will be beyond amazing.

    The people at the Norwalk Inn was wonderful. hey really helped to make my day perfect. I got a lot of positive feed back. My guest thought the venue was beautiful and bragged about the good food.

    The Norwalk Inn was the perfect place for us! They only hold one big event at a time, and there are rooms for people to stay at as well. They were very accommodating, the food was delicious, and the event manager Ingrid was extremely helpful throughout the whole process.

    I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on the Norwalk Inn because they hold events constantly but for anyone looking to do a wedding there, here you go. The planner that I worked with, Ingrid, was absolutely wonderful. She answered every question and worked with me day and night to make sure everything for the big day would go smoothly. NOW, the actual day. Ingrid works during the week so her counterpart, a tiny man with slicked back black hair, was the RUDEST man. My father bought these beautiful handmade champagne glasses from another country for my husband and I to toast to. This man offered to wash them, BROKE them, then claimed it wasn't his fault because "they were hot." I kid you not, that's what he said. When I confronted him he wouldn't even apologize. Also, with about an hour left, the power went out. Honestly, it wasn't a big deal. We had a small wedding so most people were leaving at that time anyway but AGAIN, this "manager" came YELLING at our DJ, who has done multiple weddings there, turning something that wasn't that big of a deal into a scene. If you see this manager anywhere near your wedding, RUN. I want to say his name was Jimmy but I could be wrong. Our day would have been perfect if not for him. On the plus side, our food was delicious, people still compliment me on it, and the staff was very attentive. Our honeymoon suite that you get for the night when you have your wedding there was a spacious, comfy, and updated room. If it wasn't for the horrible manager I would have given this review more stars but I just couldn't get past how bad he was, it is something that I will never forget and that man honestly does not deserve that job with the way he acts. You can tell he made the staff nervous as well so it was clear that I wasn't the first person he's upset. Make sure if you have your wedding there to request this man NOT be there, and your day will be wonderful!

    Most people that work there are very nice. The lady who runs events has no idea what is going on. She told me my guests would be able to have shots at the wedding (she brought the topic up) I found out during the wedding this was untrue. She was never ready for our meetings, which made me nervous for the wedding day. I had a great day but if I did again it would not be there.

    I had my wedding there in July of this year (2018). The planning process was made easy due to Ingrid which assisted us with the process. NOW .. on the day of our wedding.. we did not have what was promised when signing the agreement and was thrown into a holding room which was not previously set us for us which was supposed to have been after the ceremony. A BIG DISASTER! When my family and I received our food in the molded smelling room it was cold.. when I corresponded with the guy who was on that night (Jimmy) he had no knowledge of a family holding room and insisted we speak back to Ingrid who had left for the day and would be crazy to wait until the next day as this was my wedding day. All and all I did connect with her the next day and her answer wasn’t what I had expected due to the way she assisted me with my planning. I’m not sure how I would rate this experience because overall the wedding was great but when I hit a bump when it came to the family room I was DONE. Completely looked over and was only told it was a communication error. REALLY!
    Please inquire all transactions along with agreements with the head manager when book8ng your important events here @ The Norwalk Inn. Please don’t get over looked like we did!
