  Perfectly Done!

  Working with Cindy at NY Lounge Decor by phone and e-mail couldn’t have been easier. She helped with budget, planning and logistics. The black & white striped dance floor that her crew installed for the night of my niece’s wedding on 11/4/22 was the centerpiece to our black tie affair. Thank you Cindy and team!!!

  Professional and Reliable

  It was a relief working with Nicole and NYLD. She was responsive and attentive and I felt confident that our event needs would be taken care of. Their prices were competitive for the area and things were done seamlessly! One less thing to worry about on the big day!

  Money well spent

  The team at NYLD really pulled my wedding together. I was able to rent items for my ceremony and reception. Even when my venue changed the schedule around and caused a bit of a stir, the team had no issues and handled it professionally. NYLD offers fair prices and outstanding service, and each person that I had contact with was pleasant. I will definitely contact them in the future for other life events.

  Don't look further for rentals/lighting! Use them!

  I rented a white dance floor, bar and uplighting from NY Lounge Decor for my wedding in October 2019. Working with Tammi was an absolute dream - she was so helpful, patient and flexible. She was extremely responsive, answered every question, and was always willing to work with me. I highly recommend this vendor for all rental and lighting needs!

  Great Experience

  I worked with Tammi and her team at NY Lounge Decor for my wedding this summer. We ordered lounge furniture as well as a photo booth from them. They were easy to work with, responded very quickly to our many emails, and were willing to work with us on prices. Originally we were just going to order the furniture with them and order a photo booth from somewhere else, but when talking to Tammi she was willing to match the price for us so we only had to deal with one vendor instead of two! Also when we were unhappy with the layout for the photo booth pictures, Tammi convinced the attendant to download a special program to get us the layout we wanted. Super amazing to work with. I highly recommend Tammi and her team to anyone planning any kind of event. They were absolutely great!!

  We hired NY Lounge Decor to provide an LED lighted stage, follow spot light, couch and LED cube tables.
  
  The first two equipment was specifically requested by our famous emcee and performer that we hired for our wedding.
  
  Before the wedding, we had a call with the coordinator and the lighting technician. As the lighting technician is also a DJ and emcee, he understood both audio and visual aesthetics which meant he was a good partner to have for the biggest production of our lives.
  
  During the ceremony and first toast, the stage was lighted white which created an amazing silhouette effect against the ceremony backdrop and decor.
  
  For the reception first dance and various performances, it was changing colors which elevated everything to the next level.

  NY Lounge Décor did our lounge furniture, our custom SEAMLESS black and white checkered dance floor, custom hedge wall for photos, red carpet and our uplighting – these elements literally transformed the venue and made the wedding feel magical!!!! Nicole was amazing to work with – she came to RI and measured the space months before the wedding and made every idea I gave her come to life. I cannot imagine getting married without her help ! She emailed me back right away anytime I had a question or another idea I wanted to explore. I cannot begin to thank them enough – if you use them for anything for your event you will NOT be disappointed!!!

  NY Lounge Decor provide all the furniture for our reception, as well as the DJ (through their sister company Hart to Hart Entertainment). They were responsive and furniture was beautiful. The set up was exactly what i wanted for our NY wedding where we wanted it to appear like a lounge. Alex was our DJ and he was fantastic! Tammi helped with all the communication and getting everything organized and set. They were all sooo responsive and helped to set the vibe for our wonderful day!

  Great customer service

  We loved how our location looked with the staging they did (farm chairs and tables and string lights). Keith always replied really fast which made it easier for us organizing from abroad. They also changed the plans the day of because of heavy rains so we didn’t have to deal with it that day which was nice.

  They failed to honor their contract and only draped one of the two walls we paid for. Our wedding reception venue only had two available walls for draping and this was obvious. Of the other two walls that were not appropriate for draping, one already had a curtain in front of it and the other contained floor to ceiling windows as well as the bar entrance. Anyone, with or without experience in wedding decor, could easily decipher this situation from simply looking at the room. They blame our wedding coordinator for cancelling the draping of the second wall, but as far as I know this statement is false. It seems to me that the vendor feels as though blaming a wedding coordinator nullifies their contract made with us. I would expect that whatever workers were sent to set up the draping would have been properly briefed. Instead they began to set up a wall which was completely inappropriate for draping, and when told so, made no attempts to actively think and remedy their mistake. They did not call their superior nor myself to clarify the situation. We did our duty as customers, we paid our deposit and balance in full and on time, and as such we asked for a service which was not provided. As a result of the undraped wall, our up-lighting was dramatically altered. If NY Lounge Decor showed some initiative and didn't give up at the first sign of confusion that would not have been the case. Instead they behaved as a business without maturity or experience, taking our money up front and providing whatever level of service they saw fit, while obfuscating the situation by placing the blame on others. When we tried to argue our point with them both the manager and owner yelled at us on the phone. NY Lounge Décor refuses to refund us the money for the undraped wall and have never once apologized for their mistake and bad behavior. They fail to recognize that these are important days in people's lives and respect them as such.
