  David made our wedding great

  We personalized our ceremony and vowels and David delivered it perfectly. He read a poem I picked out for the occasion and left us with one less thing to worry about in wedding planning. I was so happy with our choice and loved how easy he was to talk to about the wedding ceremony. Thank you David!

  David created a wonderful, personal ceremony for us. Great sense of humor – so funny – he makes you feel so relaxed. He was perfect for our wedding ceremony. We wanted to be married at 9:00 pm, on the beach, under the full moon – he didn’t even hesitate to accommodate us. Beautiful memories – highly recommend!

  David Rhodes was the perfect addition to our wedding! He made our ceremony personal and relatable to us and our guests. It was a ceremony that felt so real but also had some humorous moments that kept the mood light. We continue to receive compliments that it was the most beautiful and heartfelt ceremony they have ever seen, with majority sharing a laugh with us as well as a few happy tears! Thank you for being a part of our special day we will never forget! Racers stick together :-)

  Working with David Rhodes was an absolute pleasure. I did so much research and spoke to so many officiants; I was feeling pretty lost about who really would be the best for our wedding. After speaking with David I had an easy decision. David spent over an hour speaking with me on the phone about the ceremony we wanted, about us as a couple and our specific situation, and a little about life too. I was blown away that someone cared so much before receiving money or even talking financials. David took time to get to know us as a couple and individually and help us to enter a strong and healthy marriage. He was professional and created a beautiful ceremony for us. We couldn't have been happier with his services every step of the way!

We got married the week that Hurricane Matthew hit the OBX in October 2016, not only did he provide some relaxation tips since I was a bride in meltdown mode, he was more than willing to do the wedding ceremony on a different day during that week if needed... with only 1 day's notice! Luckily it didn't come to that and we were able to get married on the day we had planned. He fit right in with our family at the reception with his warm and friendly personality. He was more than accommodating with our spiritual style and wants/needs and his sense of humor helped lighten the mood (especially when my sand ceremony sand was stuck in the vase because it was wet!). I would HIGHLY recommend David if you're looking for an officiate for your OBX wedding!

  We had a wonderful experience having David as our officiant! He took the time to get to know my husband and I to really personalize our ceremony and was available for all of our questions and needs. It was difficult planning a wedding from many miles away, but David made sure we had all the tools we needed for our special day. We were more than thrilled about the beautiful ceremony David created for us.

  David taylored his services personally to our wedding and met with us in advance to make sure everything went perfectly. OBX exceeded all expectations by a mile!   David conducted our ceremony in June 2016. We decided to have a surprise ceremony and David was on board all the way. David took the time to get to know us prior to the ceremony. He is truly a kind person who loves what he does! We would highly recommend David to anyone looking for an officiant on the Outer Banks!

  We were planning to renew our wedding vows in OBX while vacationing with our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. David Rhodes at OBX Ministries coordinated everything with us a month or so in advance of the ceremony. We had a Skype interview with him and he asked us many questions about our lives.   David was quick to respond to out next-day request & thorough in his Skype interview with us. The ceremony was simple but he made it fun!
