THANK YOU OMI FOR SUPPORTING OUR MILITARY. Our date had to be changed due to the groom's upcoming deployment training and they moved our wedding to another available date with no additional charges.

We chose to hold both our ceremony and reception at the Old Mill Inn, and it was a fantastic decision. Our heartfelt thanks to David, for making our special day an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience. David set up the reception/ceremony area better than I could’ve envisioned. David truly went above and beyond, and his attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our day was flawless was nothing short of remarkable. We also had the pleasure of working with Reda and our rehearsal dinner. He was attentive and amazing as well. THANK YOU to the Olde Mill Inn for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

From the start of our wedding journey the Olde Mill Inn was attentive, personable, and accommodating to all needs/wants for our wedding day. We worked with Lindsay in sales who assisted us with all questions we had at the start. She was always willing to show us the event space even if we had seen it before and prompt in answering all emails.

As the event got closer John Lietz was our assigned Maitre D’ for our wedding- John himself as well as his team exceeded all our expectations by far. We cannot think of one detail that went unnoticed and he was so patient with all our questions leading up to the big day. He had constant and professional communication with us throughout via phone, email, and text.
On our wedding day John was so attentive to both of us and our parents- we were never empty handed without a drink or lacking food on the table. He made the entire day seamless and allowed us to enjoy it with everyone else. John truly made our experience at the Olde Mill Inn 100x better than we could have imagined. We highly recommend considering the Olde Mill Inn and working with John for a wedding or any special event.

From the tour, to planning, to the wedding, Olde Mill Inn was a dream to work with. I went with their micro wedding package at the Grain House restaurant, and it was the most beautiful intimate wedding I could have ever hoped for. Reda, our Maitre D was so attentive and really took the time before and during the wedding to make it an event not only our guest could enjoy, but us as the couple too. I absolutely loved my wedding, and cannot thank the Olde Mill Inn enough for their help in making it a dream come true!

Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I got married at the Grain House April 6 and I cannot recommend it enough! Everything about the experience was positive and easy, from the moment we met with Lea, until we gave John a big hug at the end of the night. My guests were blown away by the amount and quality of the food! John was more than I could ask for in a maitre d'! He took care of us like family, and made the ceremony run smoothly and the reception room look absolutely beautiful. It was the best day! My hairstylist told me she got married at Grain House over 20 years ago, and John was her maitre 'd as well! So he's been doing this awhile! Everything was just perfect, and having the hotel right next door was a huge advantage. Cannot recommend highly enough.

My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting our micro-wedding at the Old Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, on October 19th, and I can't emphasize enough just how perfect our day was. From start to finish, it was an extraordinary experience.

First and foremost, finding a venue that offered a perfect setting for micro-weddings (under 50 people) at such an affordable price was a dream come true. The per-plate prices were exceptionally reasonable, and the fact that they included an open bar was a fantastic bonus. The venue itself was nothing short of magical.

We chose to hold both our ceremony and reception at the Old Mill Inn, and it was a fantastic decision. The outdoor setup for the ceremony, by the gazebo and near the river, was absolutely perfect. The serene backdrop of the river also provided stunning opportunities for our wedding photos. The attention to detail and the accommodations provided for the ceremony setup exceeded our expectations.

For our reception, we opted for an indoor setting, and the setup was impeccable. The dance floor and bar area created a lively atmosphere, and the Old Mill Inn had thoughtfully taken care of every detail, from table arrangements to centerpieces, if desired. The food was delicious, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it.

One feature that stood out was the availability of two rooms above the reception area for parties to get ready in. My bridesmaids and I spent the entire day there, from hair and makeup preparations to the moment our ceremony began. The convenience and comfort of these rooms were unparalleled.

Planning a New Jersey wedding all the way from California made us a bit nervous, but the Old Mill Inn made it incredibly easy for us. They were responsive and accommodating every step of the way.

Now, I must give special recognition to our Matre D, Reda. From the very beginning of the planning process, he stayed in close communication with us, addressing our questions and ensuring he had all the necessary details. On top of all that, he took our guest book, card box, centerpieces the day prior and with little to no instruction was able to create a beautiful ambiance using our stuff. Reda's updates throughout the day kept us informed and stress-free, as he took care of all vendor communication, allowing us to focus on getting ready and savoring the moment.

Our wedding day at the Old Mill Inn was nothing short of perfect and seamless. I couldn't stop talking about how wonderful everything was. If we ever find ourselves on the East Coast again, planning another event, the Old Mill Inn will undoubtedly be our first choice. Our heartfelt thanks go to the entire team, and especially to Reda, for making our special day an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience. We just had our wedding here and I am actually overwhelmed by all of our guests reaching out to tell us how amazing everything was. From the pure beauty of the venue to the amazing cocktail hour to the outstanding service from the staff. John was our maitre d and he completely hit it out of the park, paying not only close attention to my husband and I but to both of our families. Both of our parents kept repeating “John is so good, John is too good”. I am completely in awe of how everything came together.

We had a 93-person wedding at the Grain House Restaurant (at the Olde Mill Inn) and could not be happier with how the night went! The gazebo was gorgeous! We had the Fox & Hounds Room for our cocktail hour and the Hunts Room for our reception, both were very classy and well decorated (not by us). Lots of early communication by our Maitre D David, who was fantastic and really helped to make our day go smoothly. He even went out of his way to get the gluten free pasta that we liked for cocktail hour!

There is nothing I'm more sure of than recommending the Olde Mill Inn for your wedding. From the moment I visited to my wedding day it was truly an easy and beautiful process. For starters it was important for us to have hotel accommodations close as majority of our guests traveling for our wedding and nothing is closer than inside the venue. The room block prices were very affordable, the rooms are beautiful, and OMI are flexible with you if you need more rooms for your block. Communication throughout the planning process was amazing, any question I had my sales person and Matire'd answered within hours (shoutout John and Lea)! The food is incredible and their packages and add-ons offer a variety of different types of foods. Leading up to the wedding (when anxiety levels are at the highest), John (my matire'd) worked with me to accommodate any and all decor drop off, changes, and questions. The day of was perfect from start to finish. The room where the bride and bridesmaids get ready is so big with a bathroom within steps. There are two stations with mirrors and chairs for hair and make-up, but we were actually able to set up three with the amount of room and stylists we had. The entire day John was attentive to me while handling all of the different vendors coming in and out. He also made sure my husband and I and our families constantly had food and drinks in our hands. We also had our wedding in September which enabled us to utilize the courtyard directly outside our cocktail and reception area. The ballroom was set up exactly how I imagined and the service throughout the wedding was impeccable. I truly could not recommend the Olde Mill Inn more if I tried.

If you are thinking about having your wedding at the Olde Mill Inn, do it! We had our ceremony and reception in the ballroom in September and everyone is still raving about it! From the initial tour to our wedding day, Lindsey was super responsive, answered all my questions and made the whole process seamless. After we decided on the Olde Mill Inn, we attended one of the Wedding Shows they hold, and that was a nice way for us to see the space set up and meet some vendors!
For our food tasting we opted to bring our fathers along, and it was great decision, they gave us so much food that it was nice to have other opinions on it! It also allowed our dads to feel apart of our planning process! During the food tasting all the maître ’ds walk around and interact with you, immediately David stuck out to us, so we requested to have him as our Maitre’ d. We are so happy we did that as he went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect! At our meeting with him, he was so thorough and answered all our questions, he didn’t rush us to make any decisions and gave us an opinion when we were stuck! During our rehearsal, he went over all our décor and ensured that he understood exactly what we would like! He was so thorough with the rehearsal and he made sure the whole party understood what was needed! Day of, he was there bright and early, checked in on us throughout the day, made sure all our vendors were okay and organized our chaotic crew! He made sure my husband and I ate, were hydrated and was there for all our needs! He set all our decorations up exactly how we envisioned! David continually checked in on all our immediate family members and got them whatever they needed! At the end of the night, he packed all our stuff up and brought it to our suite! He even had the suite cleaned after the guys got ready in it! David truly made our day so special and took so much stress off of us! David has also kept in touch with us post wedding!
Now for the food, everything was delicious! We got a sandwich platter during the day for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen to eat and there was so many different options and all were delicious! During cocktail hour, everywhere you looked there was food! They are super conscience of allergies and make sure those with allergies are aware and taken care of! As for dinner, the servings were a nice size and everyone is raving about it! We did a super simple cake from Calandra’s and it was delicious! At the end of the night most of the cocktail hour food, entrees and a cake were put into our suite, which was super thoughtful!
All in all we are so happy we chose the Olde Mill Inn and would highly recommend them to everyone!

I always knew that when I got married, I wanted a very specific 'family reunion' feeling for my wedding: I wanted the hotel and ballroom in the same location so guests could check in, get ready, celebrate with us, go back to their rooms, and have breakfast the next day all in one place, all together. There are surprisingly not that many venues in NJ to offer these type of accommodations, and I found recommendations for the Olde Mill Inn quickly when researching venues with hotel rooms attached. We went to tour and fell in love with the feeling we got there: the OMI is quaint, charming, and warm. The staff: Lea, our booking coordinator, and Reda, our maitre'd, were extremely responsive to every question and request we had throughout the entire planning process. We met with Reda a few months before our big day and really appreciated his concern and attentiveness to the food allergies and restrictions of some of our guests, something that was extremely important to us. On the day of our wedding, he was so attentive and made sure we were never without food or a drink. Even though we had plenty to eat during our cocktail hour thanks to him, he made sure to wrap extra food up for us to enjoy in our honeymoon suite that night after the party was over. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and what a great experience they had. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and I can't imagine having had it anywhere else! The Olde Mill Inn gave us the exact feeling we wanted for our wedding day: a place where family and friends could be together and feel surrounded by warmth and love!

If your looking for family oriented , stress free, and pure beauty then this place is it! From the help of lea in the beginning and david our maitre d , i couldnt be happier!

John L. was our maitre’D and he did an amazing job! The venue itself is naturally beautiful, but John was able to set up an amazing reception for us! He and his staff were very helpful. John was in constant communication and always listened to to what had to say. His suggestions truly reflected how well versed he is as a maitre’d.

The Olde Mill Inn was the PERFECT wedding venue for us! It is a cozy space and has everything you need for a seamless wedding. We worked closely with Lindsay, who gave us the first tour of the entire venue and helped us book our contract. She was incredibly kind and was always there to answer any and all questions that we had. Closer to the wedding day, we worked with our Maître D, David, who was outstanding! David took the time to go over every single detail of our wedding day and made sure that the day ran smoothly and that all of our ideas came to life. Not only was he extremely helpful to my husband and I, but he also made sure that all of our family, friends and wedding vendors were happy and comfortable throughout the day. He was so patient with us and we truly appreciate all of his guidance and expertise. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is cozy, has DELICIOUS food and wonderful staff members: this is the place for you!

The Olde Mill Inn made our wedding day everything we'd ever want and more. Especially our amazing Maitre D John, who is literally Superman! He made us feel so comfortable and took care of us like family. He even got us late night pizza at 2am 😂

We got married at the Grain House with the ceremony outside, cocktail hour upstairs inside/out, dinner downstairs, and dancing outside under the tent. Not only is the venue beautiful, but they know what they are doing. This is evident in the fact that every couple gets a Maitre D and the planning process is smooth and professional from start to finish. This is one point that sold us. The other point was the food and the value for your money. The food was great and there are so many options to choose from.

Our wedding suite was HUGE, like a whole apartment, and had everything you could ever need. The hotel is pretty small but they have great service and the area is also very nice. I could go on and on about all of the amazing things that the OMI offers!

I highly recommend this venue and if possible, get John as your guy ;)

One point for improvement: more signs, especially in the parking lot. Because there are two locations for weddings, some of the guests got confused and went to the wrong place! This also applies to our cocktail hour and reception - it was not clear for guests that there were other rooms available to them. Because of this some things were not as visited as they should have been.

If you are looking for a venue that sincerely cares about your events and celebrations, please look no further than the Olde Mill Inn! My husband and I have family from all over the country, so we knew we needed a venue with hotel accommodations nearby. We viewed 10 different venues, and no other location offered the same level of sincerity, support, and kindness.

Teresa (our sales coordinator) did everything possible to make us feel welcome and supported from the booking to the actual event itself. As we did our initial walkthrough, a few events were setting up. People kept pulling us aside, saying "Definitely book this place!" and "Teresa is amazing!" It left an incredible impression that so many people wanted to tell us about their positive experience.

Those people were 100% right. Teresa would regularly check in on us, invite us to their engagement events and expos, and she would always find time to say hello to us when we'd stop by. Unlike other venues that try to force you into giant packages using sneaky tactics, Teresa is very upfront about the pricing options and where your money is going, and she provides clear and easy-to-read documentation. This transparency further reinforced our selection.

We used the "Simply Elegant" package at the Grain House for roughly 100 guests, with a few additional add-ons (jumbo shrimp at the cocktail hour & an intermezzo lemon sorbet during the reception). Because of the rain, the ceremony was held under the tent outside, which ended up feeling so much more personal and intimate. When the cocktail hour was underway, that area transformed into the outdoor dance floor. For the cocktail hour, we highly suggest the mashtini bar. People still haven't stopped talking about it! The food was delicious and there was so much variety for our guests.

Reda (our wonderful Maitre'D) was excellent & supportive during the stress of wedding planning. He was patient, kind, and thoughtful leading up to the event, and he made sure to keep everything on time and on track. During the ceremony & reception, I didn't have to think about anything other than celebrating my wedding!

A great example of Reda's kindness: my husband and I skipped our cocktail hour because we were too tired after the long day. Rather than missing all of that delicious food, Reda fixed two assorted plates for us. :) He also had a plate of chocolate covered strawberries & champagne brought to our bridal suite at the end of the night.

I could keep going on about how much we love this venue and the people that work here. I hope everyone (newly engaged brides especially) consider this beautiful venue and wonderful experience. Thank you all so much for being a part of our magical day! -Noelle and Daniel :)

We had our wedding here a week ago and it’s was absolutely perfect! We had Leah as our sales contact and John was our Maitre D. We could have asked for a better team. They both kept in very close contact with us at all times throughout the whole process. From the first signing of the contract to food tastings and rehearsal and rehearsal dinner to the actual day of and the day after our wedding. John made us feel like his top priority all the time. It was an excellent experience and I would highly Recommend The Olde Mill Inn to all of my friends and family.

Grainhouse/OldMill Inn is our first choice in any occasion for years and never failed us. They always exceeded our expectations. Reda, our Maitre D did a good job too, excellent assistance from beginning to end..

From the moment we stepped foot at the Olde Mill Inn we were welcomed as if we were family. Lea welcomed us and fully explained everything that would be included and available dates and made the process so simple. She walked us through and kept in touch with us and introduced us to our Maitre d' (David). David was a dream to work with, he kept in close contact all the way until our wedding day. he went above and beyond, especially on the actual wedding day. He made our experience extraordinary and took care of our parents and grandparents throughout the whole night inclulding us. He made our wedding day a dream!! I will forever be grateful to Lea,. Dave, .and the Olde Mill Inn for going above and beyond to make our dream come true.

OMI was truly the best place for our wedding and we are so happy to have picked them! My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state and OMI was always very flexible, professional and accommodating, they made things so easy and were always there with a solution or alternative if needed. The food was top notch, coordination day of went flawlessly, and we always felt taken care of. Our Maitre' D John was superb. If you're considering OMI, go for it and your day will be perfect!

We had our wedding reception at the Grain House in October 2022, and it was lovely! The Olde Mill Inn team is very professional and organized; we especially appreciated the support and enthusiasm from David, our Maitre D. We chose the Olde Mill Inn and Grain House not only because it is an absolutely charming venue with a great reputation for weddings, but most importantly because the wedding package is very comprehensive, with most of the major to-do's (venue, food & drink, vendor recommendations, etc.) were included. They were also very flexible when it came to bringing our own customized decorations. Our only critical comments are that our bridesmaids complained that at one point, their bouquets were taken from them and never returned (they were unable to find them), and that we felt a bit rushed to leave toward the end of our afterparty.
Overall, it was a great wedding. Thanks again to David!

The Olde Mill Inn was exactly the perfect place for us. We had our reception at The Grain House. It is cozy and romantic. The grounds are beautiful. We were blessed with perfect weather that day and it was lovely to be able to use the outside deck during the cocktail hour. Our maitre d’ was Reda and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. The entire staff at the Olde Mill Inn is fantastic. They are very professional and personable. They were also very accommodating. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was.! We had a couple of special dietary requests for some of our guests (gluten allergy) which was no problem at all. They also added ramps for us wherever the stairs were to accommodate our handicapped guests. Our cake was from Palermo’s and was included with our wedding package. It was so beautiful and delicious. A lot of our guests also stayed at the hotel and the rooms were all very comfortable and clean. They were also a very reasonable rate and included breakfast the next morning. We really cannot say enough good things about this venue and would do it all over again in a heartbeat! Thank you Olde Mill Inn!
