Where do we begin? Olivia surpassed all of our expectations. We planned to elope in Austin, TX without letting any of our friends or family know, and we had less than 2 weeks to plan the whole thing! Olivia instantly put our minds at ease with her unfeigned excitement to shoot our secret elopement. Not only was she a brilliant artist-photographer, but she went above and beyond and matched us with our incredible officiant, our breathtaking venue, and spent the whole day making us laugh. She captured artistic, crumbly, industrial style graffiti shots as well as the visceral and heartwarming moments interwoven throughout our day. What made her very special is that we actually felt that she took the time to really appreciate the type of people that we were and then echoed the wedding that we wanted to remember. The photos speak for themselves and she will always be remembered by us - not only for the incredibly humble and talented photographer that she is, but our witness too! We were lucky enough to be introduced to Olivia through a mutual friend. Her keen eye for detail and beauty made for some amazing photos. We appreciated Olivia’s journalistic – she was able to capture such touching moments. We’ve seen about 200 photos so far and that’s not even all we’ll receive! She was also able to manage our huge and demanding family as well as the rainy weather! Olivia is very professional, yet personable at the same time. I knew we made the right decision hiring her when I heard another amazing local photographer had booked Olivia to shoot her wedding!We were lucky enough to be introduced to Olivia through a mutual friend. Booking Olivia was the best investement we did for our wedding. From the initial meeting at our house to the moment I received the CD collection beautifully packaged and assembled, the whole experience was, simply put, stellar. The research I did in photograhers was the most extensive effort I put in the whole wedding planning process, because I knew the photos would be the only tangible thing we would have after the day had passed, the only way to capture any memories. I knew what I wanted: candid shots of our friends and family as opposed to arranged poses, artistic capture of the day, and photos that can capture US as a couple. Then, during my search, when I reviewed every single wedding she posted on her blog, and when every single wedding I saw either gave me goosebumps or made me cry, I knew we had found our photographer. There were moments she caught on film that I didnt even know happened, and she did all so unassumingly. Best of all: I was able to enjoy my day without being hounded to pose for pictures. Every single member of our family is just in awe of her talent, and we already have a few people inquiring about her availability. As soon as I was engaged the first thing I started researching was photographers. For me and my husband the most important detail of our wedding was the memories captured by photo. As soon as we discovered Olivia Brown, we knew that she was the perfect person to document our special day; and we weren’t disappointed. Not only is Olivia wonderfully talented, but her passion and love for wedding photography makes her such a joy to work with. On our wedding day she took the time to get to know people’s names and made sure to capture all the moments that were important to us. As a result we were rewarded with hundreds of amazing photos. She was able to get on film moments that we didn’t even remember and without personally knowing our guests, she still managed to let their personalities shine through.
In my opinion you can't put a price on quality wedding photos. After all, when the day is all said and done with, what do you have left? Your wedding pictures! They'll be there forever and I’m completely in love with every one of my wedding pictures taken by Olivia.
I continue to follow Olivia though her blog because I’m constantly in awe of her talent and ability to portray the uniqueness of every couple that she shoots. Furthermore, even month after my wedding and receiving my photos, she still responds promptly to my post-wedding questions. We had such a great time working with Olivia during the whole wedding process. She was extremely thorough and caught every detail of our wedding. We have absolutely beautiful photos, and I am often left indecisive about what ones to frame or send to family/friends because there are SO MANY special ones that it's hard to choose! Olivia also has a great turn-around time on photos- I know many people that have had to wait for months for their photos, which certainly wasn't the case for us. We would recommend Olivia to anyone in a heartbeat. She is pleasant, enthusiastic, and truly gifted at what she does.We had such a great time working with Olivia during the whole wedding process. Olivia Brown truly captured out wedding day better than I had ever expected (and I expected great things!). My husband and I are so incredibly thrilled with our wedding photos and love showing them off. What's striking is Olivia's ability to capture the feeling of the day.. not just the details. From the moment I met with Olivia and saw her portfolio I knew she was the perfect photographer for our special day. There are so many details you don’t think of/have time for on the day and Olivia seemed to capture them all. Not only were the photos she took stunning, but the way she interacted with our guests was amazing! We had SO MANY comments from our guests about what a great and professional photographer she was. She is one of the most creative people I have ever met. So many people have asked for her contact information because they loved her and her photos! You can really tell Olivia loves what she does by the way she interacts with her clients and the care she puts into a perfect final product.
There are so many photographers who leave you with the standard wedding poses and that is it. Olivia captures wonderful moments the bride and groom miss throughout the day and has GREAT candid shots from getting ready right through the night. I absolutely loved seeing our wedding through someone else`s eyes. The candid shots really captured pure emotion and moments in time that will now never be forgotten.

As a photographer myself choosing someone else to capture the essence of my wedding was one of the most important and daunting decisions that I had to make. To trust someone else to take photos of everything that I would be too busy to capture made me nervous. I've been to weddings where the photographer misses candid moment after moment and it drives me crazy.
From start to finish Olivia was a wonderful photographer to work with. She was prompt friendly and captured both posed and candid photographs with unique artistic style. Not only did she listen to my barrage of requests and ideas she encouraged me to give in put on the day of the shoot. She even rearranged her schedule to stay a little later the day of the wedding because our schedule ran a little later than originally planned.
Her final work was wonderful and everyone always comments on what beautiful wedding photos we have.
