Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District Reviews

The Omaha Downtown Marriott hosted our wedding of approximately 270 people this summer, and it was an excellent experience. Organizing a wedding can be a difficult and stressful process, but the Marriott helped make it easier for us every step along the way.

From the beginning when we were shopping for venues, their sales manager, Cameron, was very clear and organized on what they had to offer, their prices, and their options for flexibility. This was a significant contrast to many other venues we spoke with, and made going with the Marriott an easy choice.

We were then paired with our amazing event coordinator, Jacque, who was a life-saver throughout the entire process. She was always available, immediately responsive, knowledgeable, and very caring. She helped us to stay organized and tailor the location and event to our exact preferences. When last minute changes or additions came up, as they inevitably do, Jacque was happy to take of these completely by herself just to make the day easier for us.

The Marriott's Capitol Ballroom was a beautiful location. They created a stage, lit up the room with up-lights, constructed a giant projector, and made many other changes to the room to make it the perfect setting for our wedding. The food tasting event was excellent and the food served to our guests was delicious. The Marriott's coordination with our outside vendors was also so seamless that we never had to be involved.

Overall our experience at the Marriott was absolutely excellent. Everyone we worked with did an outstanding job, and we can't imagine having had our wedding reception anywhere else.
