    Kelli Recic is an amazing reception coordinator. She bent over backwards to make sure that my husband and I had the reception of our dreams!

    We had both our ceremony and reception in the Grand Ballroom at the Regency Marriott. Started out with their wedding coordinator Kate Parsons who went on medical leave in December, she was excellent to work with and very accommodating. Maggie Kotlarz and Kristen Grieb stepped up in her absence to help us through to the big day. They did an AMAZING job! Everything was perfect and we were SUPER happy! They were very accommodating and tried to give us everything we wanted. They even helped my MOH fix all the little problems that went wrong so that I didn’t even know about many of them until the next day. The wait staff, banquet captain, bartenders, front desk personnel, everyone we dealt with was so professional and just plain Nebraska friendly. It was so refreshing to be treated with top-notch customer service. Chef Michael is wonderful, the food was soooo good! We had prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli, chicken parmesan, and a pasta bar with penne marinara, fettuccini alfredo, and macaroni and cheese. The kids had chicken fingers, fries, fruit cup and milk. We also had a late-night snack of pizza. Everyone RAVED about the food, and they were kind enough to box up some of everything and bring it up to our room after we had left the reception. Which was nice because we only got a few bites of everything before we had to start mingling.

    We bargained with Marriott quite a bit and ended up bringing them way down on the price by doing a specialized (a-la-carte package instead of one of their 3 wedding packages that included a lot of extras for too much $$). Since they didn't charge us for the ballroom but threw in an executive meeting room to lock up our gifts, wedding night hotel room for bride & groom, we figured we ended up spending about the same as we would've for the Millard American Legion (which sold so we had to find a new venue) plus catering and decorations. But the Marriott had a top-notch newly-remodeled grand ballroom so it sure felt like we spent much more.
    They did ALL of the decorating for us plus coordinated with the bakery and florist. All we had to do was drop off favors and special centerpiece ingredients a few days prior.
    I received many many compliments on how good dinner was: we did a sit-down chicken meal. They had us come into the restaurant a month or so before the wedding to do a full tasting to select our menu. It was very hard to choose as all the food was excellent.
    We worked with Kelli for most of our beginning planning. She was truly happy for us and genuinely wanted our wedding reception to be magical. She transferred to FL so about a month before the wedding we were assigned a new wedding coordinator: Kate. Kate was very professional and knew the local wedding vendors well.
    We did have one issue: Kelli had showed us the grand ballroom but then our event was booked in a different ballroom so 3 days before the wedding Kate and her manager bought out the event booked in the grand ballroom so we could have our wedding there. I was extremely impressed with their willingness to correct the error and work with us.
    They went over each and every detail with us and wrote them all out for our review as well.
    The guest rooms have also been remodeled this year and all our guests who stayed overnight were very pleased with the accommodations. They told me breakfast was excellent as well. The ring bearer and flower girl very much enjoyed the pool too!

    We worked wiith Autumn for our wedding we got the most expensive package wich included everything. She treated us horrible she would never answer the phone when we would call she never cared what i wanted the reception to be like. She treated us like we couldn't afford the venue she was rude an unproffesional from the start. Marriott would be so much better if Autumn wasn't the person to deal with for weddings.
