  Perfect venue for those looking for cityscape weddings

  My husband and I were interested in a city wedding, and the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown was perfect. We originally toured it in September 2021 for our November 12, 2022 wedding. At the time of our initial tour they were undergoing renovations. Our contact, Laura, showed us the end design for the final product (redesigned ballroom and redone grand staircase between the foyer and the atrium where the wedding ceremony would take place). What she showed us and the end result was 100% the same, and it turned out gorgeous! The atrium has sweeping windows going up 18 floors, allowing a ton of natural light in and some great cityesque views during the ceremony. The foyer up the grand staircase was perfect for the cocktail hour, and the ballroom did not disappoint! The design of the new ballroom is modern--replacing an older chandelier with modern, sleek lighting.
  
  Throughout our wedding planning process, Laura was responsive to our questions. Also, my husband and I are vegetarian and requested a matching menu. The chef and cooking staff at the Omni created a custom all-vegetarian menu for us, and the three options we offered our guests were all delicious and hearty. Lastly, the bar service during the cocktail hour and reception was great, with an attentive bartender. We are thrilled with how our wedding turned out. Laura and the Omni, thank you!

  Great staff, great service! Joan and James were fantastic. I highly recommend the filet minion and not to mention anchos restaurant!

  We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception at the Omni! The Atrium was a beautiful setting for our ceremony. Monica was such a huge help with all of our questions and helping us to plan our night exactly how we wanted it. Everything was so well organized and we received so many compliments! The food was amazing and all of the staff were so helpful. We are so excited that everything turned out so perfectly!!

  The Omni Downtown was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding, which was held across the street at St. Mary Cathedral on May 4, 2013. Our first meeting with Lauren was great. She gave us all the information we needed to make our decision and answered all our questions. We booked almost a year in advance of the wedding, and Lauren was helpful and responsive throughout the year. The day of the event was awesome. The ballroom looked amazing, food tasted fabulous, service was prompt, and the entire staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. I can't count all the little details that Lauren helped us with ahead of time!!! All our guest raved about how wonderful everything was!! Thanks, Lauren. And thanks for a memorable day! Suzanne

  Julia at the Omni was really accommodating and helped a lot with Out Of Town Guests. The service was great and Everyone was happy.

  We couldn't have asked for a better experience at the Omni. We picked it because there was so much more bang for our buck than almost anywhere in the city--all I had to do was find a handful of vendors (officiant, photographer, DJ, and cake) and they took care of the rest. What was more, we saved so much on decorations because the ceremony and reception sites look so good on their own! The on-site event staff was incredibly helpful and professional and made sure that all we had to do the day of was show up :)

  If you are looking for a 1 stop shop for your wedding, and you have a lot of out-of-town guests, this is the venue for you. Monica Little works extremely hard to customize the event for you while helping you to stay within your budget. In addition, there were so many last minute requests from my friends and family, and beautifully handled them with grace and dignity! I highly recommend having your wedding here. My guests had a blast! :)

  The OMNI was unquestionably the right choice for us. Glorious location, beautiful decor, and excellent people who were knowledgable and skillful at planning and managing what was, to me, an enormous event. They made us feel special and treated us like celebrities. Great job!!!!

  We stayed here for the night after our wedding. When we arrived, not only did no one greet us, they didn't even congratulate us -- I was in my wedding dress!! It took forever for us to check in because no one would help us. However, they did upgrade us to the penthouse suite. There was wine and chocolate covered strawberries. It was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time.
