    Fairytale wedding

    The Omni Providence really made our dreams come true for our ideal wedding. Not only was it beautiful in aesthetic, but they also provided the upmost professionalism when helping our dreams come to fruition. The Omni Team provided constant check-ins, email updates, and overall transparent communication with us and our vendors. This allowed for little to NO hiccups or surprises for our big day. In addition, our food (charcuterie tower, hot apps, main dinner, and late night snack) were OUTSTANDING! We have the majority of our guests tell us about the exquisite food experience frequently! Our signature drinks were a hit! The Omni crushed each one with flavor and style. We would highly recommend the Omni Providence for anyone’s special day, as you can tell they made it extremely special and memorable for many years to come.

    Wedding Reception

    We had our wedding at the Omni Providence and it was top notch. Our wedding planner Colleen was fantastic. To this day people are still saying how good the food and it was the best they ever had at a wedding. I would recommend the Omni to anyone looking to have a reception. They go above and beyond.

    Colleen Arena

    Experience, Colleen Arena was the angel sent from above to help me in the wedding of my dreams; she was present at all times; her years of experience made me trust that she would have everything under control.

    Honesty, From the beginning, we talked about our budget and the prices of their packages. Colleen always reminded us of our budget when we asked for something higher than our budget. We decided if we wanted to move forward or not, which is appreciated because sometimes we get excited that we need to remember to ask about the price.

    Appointments, emails, and room reservations:
    The meetings we had with Colleen were always productive.
    There was always email communication.
    We had our Omni-web page where our guests could reserve their rooms without needing us to make the reservations for them, Colleen booked us the best rooms, and all of our guests couldn't believe the rooms they got.

    Employees, All the hotel employees were very kind to all our guests and us; they all enjoyed the friendly atmosphere throughout the place.

    Vale Parking, Providence Place Mall, and Convention Center; Parking was not a problem; our guests decided on the best option.

    My grandmother always said that tranquility is priceless, which I found at Omni Hotel; I found peace and stability in their experience and quality.

    Wedding Venue

    The Omni Staff was great to work with! Originally we were suppose to have our wedding back in October of 2020 but due to the pandemic, Omni was able to work with us and secure a new date in 2021. We recently had our wedding this past weekend and it was AMAZING! We had such great feedback from friends & family! I highly recommend Omni Providence Hotel for your wedding venue! You will not be disappointed!

    Hotel Block

    We used the Omni Providence to host our room blocks for our wedding. The sales team was absolutely amazing! I booked the block pretty early since we had a long engagement so our managing sales agent got changed maybe 3 or 4 times during the entire process. I would normally complain about that but honestly each agent was super responsive and never made me feel like I was a nuisance for asking questions. They were all top notch! Arda was our sales agent when the actual day of came around. She helped setup lunch to be delivered to my suite on the day of for the girls and it went great. The food arrived right on time and kept us on schedule and it was delicious! The suite she put us in was beautiful and had so much room for us all to get ready in. They even delivered champagne that night for my now husband and I to sit down and enjoy once our big night had finally settled down. My only complaint would be that the guest gift bags were not all delivered to the rooms as they should have been. If a guest has their Do Not Disturb sign out they won’t get it. I wish they would have been delivered prior to check in to avoid that issue. We had some changes in our shuttle schedule so the gift bags had that information for guests. Everyone made it to the venue though so it all worked out. Otherwise, the Omni was such a beautiful hotel and I’m so glad we chose to do our room block there!

    NYE wedding

    Alicia and staff were amazing. I had no idea what to do for centerpieces or even how I wanted the room to look. Alicia gave some great examples and set it up perfectly! The staff there it very attentive and so so nice!

    I couldn’t have asked for a better venue than the Omni Providence Hotel. From the very beginning, Richard, our coordinator, was responsive to all of our questions. The details of the wedding package were clearly explained and there were a variety of choices in terms of linens, uplighting, menu choices, and the set up of the ballroom. The room rate offered for our wedding block was very competitive and the majority of our guests stayed over because of this, making our wedding an all night event! The day of our wedding, I did not worry about a single thing, Richard and his staff set up the cocktail hour space and the ballroom exactly the way I described. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the entrée to the cupcake station and even the late night chicken tender and fries station. Our wedding reception ran perfectly and we have to thank Richard and the staff at the Omni for running a smooth and perfect reception for us and our guests. I highly recommend this venue.

    Four days after my wedding, I am still overcome with happiness at the artfulness and ease with which everything was executed from start to finish. So much of that had to do with my coordinator and choice of venue: Sarah Bauerle and the Omni Downtown Providence, respectively. My husband and I looked at a lot of places to host our wedding; from the moment I met Sarah, I knew I wanted to work with her (the stunning ballroom, of course, was a plus). Sarah's attention to detail from our first conversation to the band's encore was amazing -- she listened to us when we told her what we wanted out of a wedding and incorporated all of that into a custom detailed package, and it was the easiest decision we've made throughout the planning process. She coordinated with all of my vendors to craft and carry out a seamless day-of timeline. She responded to every email and call in what seemed like moments. She accommodated last-minute changes and requests (there will be last minute changes and requests, if you think otherwise you're probably fooling yourself). Many of my family members were given upgraded rooms when they realized they were close to a group of college students celebrating their graduation ball on the Thurs/Fri preceding my wedding. Everyone worked together throughout: the AV coordinator, Mark, texted me pictures of the ballroom on the morning of the wedding -- I texted him a couple of suggested changes to be more in line with my diagram, and he immediately relayed them to the staff to make the changes. It was almost too easy! I can't say enough about Sarah's (and her team's) ability to make my wedding amazing. I'll end my review with this last thought: while I really don't acknowledge negativity, I do have to say that if/when you're reading reviews of this venue, please keep in mind that if something *sounds* completely outrageous and far-fetched, it probably is just that. My livelihood revolves around sniffing out BS -- and one review here stinks.

    We just recently had our New Years Eve wedding at the Omni Hotel in Providence RI. I can not begin to explain how pleased we are with the quality of service, food and professionalism.

    Sarah, our event coordinator, was great throughout the entire planning process answering all of our questions and meeting our requests.

    The catering Manager, Tiffany, went above and beyond to meet our needs even when it came to bustling our dresses and she did so with a constant smile which was contagious.

    Edwin, our server, impressed us with his attentiveness all evening. He even brought our shoes directly up to my sisters room at 2:00 in the morning, when we forgot them on the dance floor.

    At the food tasting we were immediately impressed by the delicious menu and outstanding service. On the evening of our wedding the food and the service was exactly how we remembered it. Nothing was compromised, not quality or service. To our surprise, we were upgraded to the presidential suite on the night of our wedding. It was gorgeous and created a beautiful ending to a beautiful night.

    We are beyond impressed with the service at the Omni Hotel in Providence and we would recommend it to all who are considering this venue, as you will not be disappointed. To Sarah, Tiffany and Edwin, thank you for going above and beyond!

    On a scale of 1-10, we would give the Omni Providence (formerly Westin Providence) a 15 for our daughter's wedding reception! Sarah Bauerle (event coordinator) was amazing. She saw to every detail from start to finish and was beyond helpful in answering questions, giving great advice and keeping us on track. The food was absolutely delicious, and the white glove service impeccable! We couldn't have been more pleased - they helped make the day perfect!

    I choose the Westin Providence after my first 2 choices were already booked but that ended up being a blessing in disguise. The ballroom at the Westin is beautiful and the accomodations were perfect with so many out of town guests. The Wedding Planner there, Ashley Wilcox is a true gem. She went out of her way to customize the event for us. We were able to create an elegant affair that we tailored to our specific needs from a true Italian meal that the chef nailed perfectly. They worked within our budget and would not hesitate again in using this fine venue.

    We had a wonderful experience at the newly renovated Omni Hotel Providence, The elegant ballroom was spacious and looked beautiful the day of the wedding. Be clear with the hotel and manager about what you are requesting and they will make it happen. Good price and very convenient for my guests.

    i had my recepetion at the omni hotel in providence in the ballroom, plenty of space beautiful chandaliers, the food was awesome!

    Where do I start?
    During our initial conversations, we were ASSURED by the event manager that the carpet in the ballroom would be changed and we would be the first, if not one of the first to have our event on the new carpet - not only was that not the case but nothing what they promised us was delivered. The carpets were shoddy and stained. They tried to convince me the old puke colored orange would look better with my color scheme then the new vibrant red - are you kidding me? just unprofessional. The event manager was extremely unorganized randomly scribbling notes and requests all over the page and often missing details or agreeing to things they could not provide.
    As for the wedding, at the cocktail hour I asked for bows to be tied at around the table cloth on the tall tables, which they did - but a 4 year old could have done a better job. They looked unprofessional and sloppy. Secondly, we specifically asked that the waiters enter with the hors deurves at both ends of the room so all the guests would have a fair shot at the food - they didn't and despite several requests during the wedding, they wouldn't and kept giving lame excuses. At the bar there was a bartender who should probably be collecting social security at this point - it took her several minutes to pour each drink and the people were just gathering around the bar waiting...impatiently.
    The reception: first, the lights were uneven on both sides and when we asked to have them even the lights out they acted like they had never done this or heard that request before. Next, considering they have weddings there all the time you would think they would know how to make a bar look presentable and not similar to frat house, but no. We served 9 types of liquor + wine, beer and champagne. Instead of making the bar look stocked and done nicely, they literally put our the 9 liquors ONLY...it looked empty - i've never seen anything like it at a wedding where there is an event manager who supposed to know how
