  Jim at On Location Portraiture was phenomenal. He did the bridal portraits as well as the ceremony and reception. He worked not stop and did not miss an opportunity to capture a moment on camera, but did it in a way that you barely noticed. He is VERY proffessional and he was prompt and available when we needed him.

  The photographs were lovely and Jim was very professional and flexible. I especially liked the fact that he had taken other wedding photographs at our church.

  We have known Jim for many years and have used him for a variety of photos, so we were quite comfortable choosing him to be our wedding photographer, as well. Jim is very reasonably priced and takes a lot of pictures. He doesn't waste a lot of time and seems to know exactly what he wants to do so time isn't wasted thinking about what to do next. On the wedding day, he was there taking pictures of everything, but was never in the way and was unobtrusive at all times. He has a very pleasant demeanor and is quite enjoyable to work with!

  We really enjoyed having Jim be our wedding photographer. My family had used him before for family pictures, and we were more than satisfied using him for our wedding. He is very talented. We highly recommend On Location Portraiture!

  Jim Herndon (the owner and photographer) was great. He was very open to our ideas and incredibly flexible with what we wanted. We got a ton of really awesome pictures and even got a CD with all of our pictures on it.

  I can't say enough wonderful things about Jim and his photography! We have used him for serveral things and when my husband ad I got engaged, he was the first person we booked. His pictures are some of the best I've ever seen and he's won TONS of awards for them. His prices are a bit higher than others, but SO well worth it. You will never regret it. The only thing is that I would definitely advise booking well in advance...he is VERY popular!

  Jim is so fun to work with and a very talented photographer. He did our engagement, bridal and wedding photos. We had a great and relaxed time during each session with him and loved the photos. He really listens to what you like and don't like and learns your personality and works off of that very well. We will continue to use him in the future.

  I have used Jim before and loved his work so this was an easy decision for us. He did our engagement, bridal, and wedding portraits. I loved the value we got, his price included many prints which was a plus. I did not want to pay $3000+ for the photographer and still have to pay extra for prints. We had over 600 pictures from the wedding. There were a few shots he didn't get but they were ones I probably should have mentioned before. He tends to enjoy outdoor pictures and they seem to turn out a little nicer looking. Overall we were extremely satisfied with our pictures and will be returning to him in the future.
