Marjorie, no words to describe how beautiful you made our wedding! If you are looking for someone who cares and you want a day you will never forget, Marjorie with On This Day Weddings and Events, is who you want! Our guests were raving about our wedding and could not believe how wonderful it turned out. Marjorie put’s her heart and soul into your wedding, and she is there for you every step of the way! She made us feel at ease and guided us through the day. She really took the time to get to know us as people, not customers as well as our family and friends. She worked so well with the vendors and, had so many wonderful recommendations we could not even have thought of. Because of the Marjorie, we had a wedding that was beyond what we could have ever dreamed of! She genuinely cares and it shows! We would recommend this her time and time again. -

Marjorie performed a beautiful ceremony for us on 09.21.19! She is so well spoken and professional and everyone commented on how amazing our ceremony was! She knows how to people ;) We had quite the outspoken group during rehearsal and she handled us with ease and grace! She made our day go smooth and I would recommend her to everyone looking for an officiant for their big day! :) -

Marjorie was absolutely fantastic to work with! She did an amazing job at making our ceremony personal and unique to my husband and I. Marjorie was always ready to answer any questions that I had prior to the ceremony. She helped make our day run smoothly and successfully. -

Marjorie was an absolute joy to have as both our officiant as well as our day of coordinator. She handled both roles interchangeably and without any confusion between the two. She took her role as officiant seriously, making sure that we got the exact ceremony we wanted. We wanted a completely civil ceremony with no trace of religion, and she delivered without question. She wrote an initial draft of our ceremony, and also was willing to take as many rounds of edits as it needed to make it perfect for us (luckily for us it only took one round, but she was ready for more!). She ran our rehearsal seemlessly, and gave very clear instructions on how everyone should walk and carry themselves to look their best (and it shows in our photos!). On our wedding day, she handled the ceremony very gracefully, helping calm my nerves as the bride as well as adding in little tidbits of humor to keep the guests engaged. She was even gracious enough to know to step out of the way in order to not "photobomb" our first kiss. We couldn't have asked for anything better in our officiant.
As day of coordinator, Marjorie and her assistant Michelle handled every little detail to the t. Marjorie met with us multiple times before the big day and responded to countless e-mails with planning guidance, months before her hired for "day-of" duties. We had a small issue where our photo booth operator tried to get a glass of wine from the bar, even though the alcohol bar was only for guests. Marjorie took the full blame for not allowing this so that our photo booth results wouldn't be impacted, which we greatly appreciated. She was discrete in her duties as well; I doubt most of the guests even noticed her after the ceremony. She also helped make sure all of our belongings were handed off to our parents' car so we wouldn't have to worry about them. Overall Marjorie is just an amazing person and you won't regret having her as part of your wedding. It was so convenient to have both the officiant and day of coordinator role in one vendor; I highly recommend it and more specifically Marjorie for any bride looking to make their planning and their big day as easy as possible! -

Ok, I've never worked with other DOCs in the area before, but Marjorie has to be one of the best ones, especially for the affordable price she's charging.
We met Marjorie at the vendor showcase day hosted by our venue. She is experienced, considerate, and an excellent problem solver. She played an important role throughout the wedding planning; she checked our vendor contracts, she joined our meeting with the venue, and she gave clear and great recommendations whenever we are stuck on the details. After every communication and meeting with Marjorie, my husband and I always said to each other, "I'm so glad we hired Marjorie," knowing our big day will be in good hands. And we were absolutely right.
At the rehearsal, Marjorie stepped in and led the entire process, which helped all of the wedding party ready for the ceremony. I especially loved that she was firm with her instructions but was never rude. On our wedding day, Marjorie and her assistant Michelle set up the venue perfectly, then they hid in the background, monitored the timeline, and took care of all the issues. Whenever they had to bring a problem to us, they always come with a clear recommendation.
Marjorie and Michelle made our wedding a stress-free celebration. It was a pleasure working with them, and we'd recommend them to anyone who's planning a wedding.
Btw, our vendors told us that they loved working with Marjorie too!
