We can't recommend OLAS enough! Our photographer, Victoria, was amazing—super bubbly and made us feel comfortable right away during both our engagement and wedding shoots. She was so fun to work with while remaining highly professional and knowledgeable. The variety in our photos was incredible, but some of my favorites were the natural ones that perfectly captured our personalities. The rest of the OLAS team was also fantastic, helping us develop a detailed timeline and sharing portfolios of potential photographers to choose from. I seriously cannot express my thanks to Kate and junior enough!! They made our entire day comfortable and fun. Kate was so artful with how she helped pose me (the bride) when I have a lazy eye. Not once did I feel self conscious—just happy and beautiful. Kate and junior also did way more than any photographer—junior even helped fold the Groom’s pocket square! Everyone from OLAS was such a pleasure to work with and made planning for my 10/19/24 wedding so easy!
From the initial planning phase through the end of the wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Hannah was an absolute ANGEL!! She helped me through so many little hiccups along the way. Our photographer Cristian was INCREDIBLE!! Not only did he take stunning pictures, his attention to detail and remembering precious details about us to throw into our shoot made working with him such a joy. Our videographer Khiray and second shooter Autumn were equally as wonder to work with. We wish we could take them with us everywhere!! Our wedding day was everything we could have hoped for and more! It was great celebrating with friends and family and having a team of vendors, like OLAS, who fully support LGBTQ+ couples. Graham was absolutely AMAZING. We could not have asked for more beautiful pictures of our special day. He knew the best spots, and he was so easy to work with. It was clear that he had photographed our venue before, and was comfortable finding the best spots for photos. Our photographer, Erin, was so sweet and willing to make changes as necessary. She was on top of the agenda and assisted the bridal party and day of coordinator in every possible way that she could. “Everything went perfectly and we could not have asked for a better photographer. We love how she took charge of everything and took a lot of stress off of my wife and I! We had a great experience with OLAS. Our photographer was so laid back and made us feel very comfortable - we love that in our photos she made us look like movie stars! The photography on our wedding day was very easy and didn’t feel awkward. Fast, too, with the family photos. There was one photo in my gallery of my moms iPhone when we were FaceTiming my grandma that was so sweet. A lot of people got the shot of me holding up the phone but that’s the only photo where you can see my grandma. I’ll treasure it forever. During the planning process communication was very good, fast, and clear. So many wedding vendors are so slow at responding, so it was refreshing to have one that responded quickly. The price point is unbeatable. Before we landed on OLAS we really wanted to hire an independent photographer. It was so difficult though because our initial photographer ghosted us after we paid the deposit and then it was too late to find anyone reputable. A couple of available photographers were very slow in communication. We wanted to avoid a company because we had heard bad things about going that route but OLAS seems to strike the perfect balance of the benefit of an organized company that knows how to run a business but with a personal touch, quality, and good price. Gorgeous Wedding Reception Photos
We had a fantastic time with Once Like a Spark - glad we chose this company. OLAS has the best onboarding process we've experienced (and we've dealt with quite a few photographers/videographers between our engagement, destination wedding, and separate reception ceremony). I loved the reminder emails and the wonderful questionnaire. Hannah was great to work with prior to us meeting our photographer; she was always responsive, kept us on top of our deadlines, and quick to troubleshoot. Monica, our photographer, was so lovely! She brought calm, professionalism, and creativity to the event, particularly at a moment when things could've become quite stressful. The second photographer, Katie, was also great. And the photos are absolutely lovely. I've written OLAS about their turn-around time to receive photos back, particularly for priority editing, and they immediately let us know that they will be making an effort to shorten this in the future.
